Some Chinese GPU brands are half baked, they reduce their performance by -10% compare to other big GPU brands like MSI also their cooling is worse, every parts like thermal pads are almost fake, stay away from those Maxsun brands and Gingsha and veineda
Its the brand, stay away from new Chinese GPU brands they sucks in performance, I have a gaming 1660 and the brand is zotac which is very good at COD at 1080p then I helped my cousin to buy one from China which the brand is also 1660 Maxsun we are surprised that the zotac runs games better than the Maxsun brand

Did you try running the clock to -1004 mhz (on Linux)? or -502 mhz on Windows.

This makes no difference on hiveOS using Trex miner or you have a specific miner software that works with this -1004 MHz? I don't see any difference using this settings in hiveOS for my 1660 and 3060ti they are both hynix based what am I doing wrong?When you bought these video cards, did the old owner show you the hashrate or not?

So when using HiveOS one needs to double the numbers you getting on windows OS? This is a very vital information thanks for sharing I've been gone for months I'm just seeing this reply today I will definitely give this a try
Don't bother pushing the GPU any longer since you have the best settings for the exact same hynix memory, to me this looks like your luck on the silicon lottery side, sorry mate not all graphic cards can live up to your expectations in mining
What is the name of that hynix GPU? I have one that won't do anything over 22mh with every settings I know, it's a maxsun gtx1660 brand I think this is from the manufacturer side, the memory is less active unlike other hynix memory 1660 supers

Wow I never thought that we need to double core clock in Linux to get better result, I was using -502 for my 3070ti in hiveOS and now I tried this -1004 and things seem more balanced out for me for, thanks for the tip 👍

Help! I have 10 gtx1660 cards I bought from China and only one is behaving abnormally, other 4 cards are giving me 24.54MH on ETH and 5 gtx1660 which are running on hynix memory gives me 27MH on ETH but the last GPU which is also a hynix memory 1660 gives me 22MH no matter what OC I use, pls drop your hynix OC 1660 settings
