I do believe in hypnosis because there are many case that it is commonly used to deceive people here in my country for money. They are a group of people that will divert your attention and will get your trust easily until you aren't aware of what's really happening or what you are doing.

Hypnosis is a state of human consciousness involving focused attention and reduced peripheral awareness and an enhanced capacity to respond to suggestion. The term may also refer to an art, skill, or act of inducing hypnosis. Theories explaining what occurs during hypnosis fall into two groups. Altered state theories see hypnosis as an altered state of mind or trance, marked by a level of awareness different from the ordinary conscious state. In contrast, non state theories see hypnosis as a form of imaginative role enactment.

I don't know abut hypnosis. But i do know of the brain and it's functions. Our brain controls everything in the body by way of electrical impulses. It's function is to create a homeostatic environment and regulate it. As the brain regultes, we have limiters in our body to prevent us from injuries and creating harm. Such regulation restricts us from doing greater things. Like in emergencies, we can actually lift a fridge, but on a normal day we struggle to get out of bed. I think in hypnosis, we could do it in s tranced state to access everything in our brains amd full potential

hypnosis is a great thing for an expert to understand all your problems at a subconscious level, many suffer from the fact that they can not remove problems from their heads ... and only a psychiatrist can help you in this .. but it's really scary to imagine, and suddenly he programmed you to do good things)))

What do you think about hypnosis, have you ever been in a state of hypnosis or trance. And do you believe in all this? Who do you think is the best specialist in the field of hypnosis from now on?
As what I read from Google the Hypnosis is the induction of a state of consciousness in which a person apparently loses the power of voluntary action and is highly responsive to suggestion or direction. For me it’s not true no one can control us or manipulate us it’s up to us if we easily trust someone like a stranger. So be observant and don’t trust to stranger.

Its real but its not like in movies. Most of us experience a state of hypnosis every day, be it when you drive home with your brain turned off or when you play a videogame for hours without being aware of time. Or when you watch a film without interruption because you are so immerse into it.

Stage hypnosis is often performed by mentalists practicing the art form of mentalism.

Actually Hypnosis is a state of normal-natural consciousness and indeed we often experience throughout the day. Have you ever been swept away while watching a very interesting television show or crying when you watched a moving scene? It is one of the normal conditions of hypnosis where our feelings and thoughts are carried away as if they were real. In a hypnotic state, one tends to be more receptive to suggestions whether to change, to experience something, etc.

I think hypnosis isn't good.Few people go on hypnosis. They think it will help them in their lives. It can only be a little to mitigate their pain.Every normal man will not agree to that.Hypnotists take big money. It's better for people to deal with their problems than going to hypnosis and these various things.

All I can say is Hypnosis is real and is actually used by Psychologist for their patients. My psychologist actually used this on me. She told me what went down in our session and I was surprised by how did she get all that information from me when I'm not aware of telling her. It's an amazing practice but dangerous when used for the wrong motive.

Basically hypnosis is the science of mind. A person who comes for hypnotherapy will be directed to enter a deep relaxation state so that the dominant brain waves will slowly descend into alpha waves then into theta and sometimes delta. After deep relaxation is achieved our attention becomes the focus of one particular thing only.

Yes, I have been on a trance. In fact, you and me, all of us have been in a trance at least once in our life.
Trance is a state of mind where is your concentration is deeper than usual.

When you are absorbed in doing something, like playing a game, listening to your beloved music, you enter a trance state.

Hypnosis is a branch of psychology that studies the influence of suggestions on the human mind.
hypnotist called "hypnosis" or "hypnotism" derived the word "hypnos", the name of the sleeping god in Ancient Greek mythology.

The word "Hypnosis" was first introduced by James Braid, a prominent English doctor who lived between 1795 and 1860. Before the time of Jame Braid, hypnosis was known as Mesmerism / Magnetism. But it should be understood that the condition of hypnosis is not the same as sleep. The sleeping person is unaware and can not hear voices around him. While the person in the condition of a nasty, although his body rested (like sleeping), he can still hear clearly and respond to the information it receives.Hypnotics has been studied scientifically for more than 200 years. Many experimental and experimental studies try to determine what is the most unique of hypnotists versus other mental phenomena. This uniqueness needs to be understood to formulate an accurate hypnotic definition. But until now, the hypnotic deficits revealed by each character are still different. Everyone agrees that there is something called hypnosis, but different opinions about what is hypnotic.

I just watched a Tedx conference where a hypnotist did a collective hypnosis session to prove that it worked. I'm not really sure though if the participants were actors or not. And some of them didn't get hypnotised at all, so that questions the matter.
I'm not very skeptical of hypnosis. I believe there could be cases where it would work, but not for everyone.

There is a lot of misunderstanding in the field, and people believe that with hypnosis you can achieve some kind of superpower.
I'm a trained hypnotist, and I can assure that real hypnosis has nothing to do with you can see in movies.
It's a mind state of high suggestibility, and you can access sleeping resources of the mind, but nothing magic.

I think hypnosis is a kind of a medical strategy used by psychiatrist to put patients in a trance. With this they can probe on long term memory or even probe those deep seated memory. It helps with patients undergoing post traumatic stress and also victims of war. It is helpful but there are some that use it for bad.

People have been pondering and arguing over hypnosis for more than 200 years, but science has yet to fully explain how it actually happens. We see what a person does under hypnosis, but it isn't clear why he or she does it. This puzzle is really a small piece in a much bigger puzzle: how the human mind works. It's unlikely that scientists will arrive at a definitive explanation of the mind in the foreseeable future, so it's a good bet hypnosis will remain something of a mystery as well.

It's real in what sense? I think all hypnotism is actually hokum and I've seen no decent evidence that any of it is real. At most it's a placebo effect felt by gullible or easily suggestible people. Penn and Teller did an episode on it in their "Bullshit" TV series (which is an apt name for hypnosis). It used to be on youtube but seems to have been removed but I found it on Vimeo and  recommend people watch it (and the other episodes in the series if you can) https://vimeo.com/226521779

I think this "hypnotherapy" thing was a big misconception and has proven to be ineffective.
Hypnosis is way to induce thoughts and not the other way around.
Basically what the patient is saying are all just thoughts that were consciously or unconsciously induced.
Although it would've been extremely beneficial if hypnotherapy were proven effective.

personally, I don't fully believe in the "state of hypnosis or trance", maybe I would get a little sleepy, but I don't think a person can command Me of what He/She wants me to do. I guess it is up to us human beings, whether we let oursleves be tricked by the words of the specialist. If we let ourselves be persuaded by the words of the specialist then We don't have our own will. For me it is mentally impossible to let other people control of Our actions. So for me, I think Hypnosis that can control the humans actions is fake.

I believe in hypnosis, because I have been in hypnosis several times by my own friends who do master hypnotherapy. At that time I was experiencing a strange phobia, so very hampered in my career and business. I ask my friend for his healing, in the second time in hypnosis I experienced a very drastic change, including changes in my career and business.

What do you think about hypnosis, have you ever been in a state of hypnosis or trance. And do you believe in all this? Who do you think is the best specialist in the field of hypnosis from now on?

There are people who have been hypnotized before and i believe that it's a real thing. There's science behind it on how minds can be manipulated into believing what other people want you to believe and do.
people who are not well trained can lead a process in the wrong direction or mistaken it further. It is important  they have certificates that prove the qualified as a therapist . Not everyone can work with hypnosis

The person who hypnosis you can command anything, and you will comply

This is another of the most common misperceptions, usually related to the misperception of the number 1.so, as if the hypnosis person is mastered, the hypnosis person is powerless to refuse orders, etc. This is not true. do you think, if this perception is true, instead of hypnotic people who may already be on their own private island, while enjoying life? 😀

to be able to enter and be accepted by the subconscious mind, an idea must not be against the values that are in the unconscious. for example, a person who is in a hypnotic state will not accept suggestions if he is suggested to kill his own mother because that is against the values stored in the subconscious mind. but then maybe you think, "but on television, I see people being told all sorts of things and publicly shaming themselves, they can not refuse." I have an answer to arguments like this .

secondly,  People have been pondering and arguing over hypnosis for more than 200 years, but science has yet to fully explain how it actually happens.

But psychiatrists do understand the general characteristics of hypnosis, and they have some model of how it works. It is a trance state characterized by extreme suggestibility, relaxation and heightened imagination. It's not really like sleep, because the subject is alert the whole time. It is most often compared to daydreaming, or the feeling of "losing yourself" in a book or movie. You are fully conscious, but you tune out most of the stimuli around you

Hypnosis is a state of human consciousness involving focused attention and reduced peripheral awareness and an enhanced capacity to respond to suggestion. The term may also refer to an art, skill, or act of inducing hypnosis. Theories explaining what occurs during hypnosis fall into two groups. Altered state theories see hypnosis as an altered state of mind or trance, marked by a level of awareness different from the ordinary conscious state

During hypnosis, a person is said to have heightened focus and concentration. The person can concentrate intensely on a specific thought or memory, while blocking out sources of distraction.[7] Hypnotised subjects are said to show an increased response to suggestions.[8] Hypnosis is usually induced by a procedure known as a hypnotic induction involving a series of preliminary instructions and suggestion. The use of hypnotism for therapeutic purposes is referred to as "hypnotherapy", while its use as a form of entertainment for an audience is known as "stage hypnosis". Stage hypnosis is often performed by mentalists practicing the art form of mentalism.

Hypnosis is real, though often over-exaggerated in media. There are personality nuances that make certain people more susceptible, e.g. gullibility, extroversion and superstition.
