Try Try Try until you succeed. I know gaining merits is not that easy but your intention on this forum should not be focused only on Merits. You can learn many useful things on this forum. Also, you can share your knowledge here. Not only on this forum, but there are also many useful topics you can search and learn from that and share it here if it helps others also.
Don't focus on gaining merits instead make some time and effort learning various topics that may enhance your knowledge. People won't hesitate on giving you a merit if they have seen that you deserve it, just do your best and let yourself acquire the lesson. Anyway, it's great that you have finally achieved one of your goal. Sharing your experience can encourage people to do their best despite of the criticism that they are getting from other people. It will make them realized that they should use it as a motivation to show people that they are wrong for underestimating your capabilities.

You passed through the hardest period on the forum, after the merit system came here. The first 100 merits are the most difficult challenge for users. They have to do deep-learning, careful discussing, and being as helpful as possible to earn their first 100 merits. It also relates to posting-style changes (it is very important for users who are not good posters before the merit system was born).

Anyway, you got it, yours first 100 merits, your Full Member title, and I congratulate you for it.

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with OPs post. Motivational post are always open so that new users can be motivated to post more useful and quality one.
I don't necessarily have a problem with the OP, but there's been a period of time when this board has been filled up with "motivational threads" which were more-than-obvious merit begging threads after TMAN gave 50 merits to the first one posting this kind of thread here.

Honest opinion: motivational posts aren't needed. You don't need to be motivated to write here. You either like posting or you don't, there's no need to be convinced.

Moreover, the more time you spend on the forum without the goal of ranking up and just for pure entertainment and education, the easier it is to get a rank-up. I've received more than 300 merits in the past few months and I honestly have no idea how and when did that happen. I'm a week away from ranking up to Hero, something I thought would take an year to happen.. not just a few months.

If you stay here with no other intentions than gathering more knowledge and discussing with other members of the community you are in, ranking up happens in no time.

Recently, I became a Full Member on 5th March 2020. I was waiting for that moment and was so happy Smiley. I started my journey 19 months back. Previously, I was not that active in the forum. From the Mid of 2019, I actively started posting in the forum.

My journey was not that easy, I struggled a lot for every single merit. I have posted many quality content and created many useful threads. One day I realized that we can get many useful topics on Bitcointalk and we are missing out on many useful threads. If a newbie joins today, he will not know what was posted earlier and what are useful topics on this forum. So I decided to collect most of the useful threads that we are actually missing out. I started a thread called - Missing Out The Important Topics!! and tried to collect the useful topics and I am updating that thread regularly.

Also, I have started a Merit Giveaway thread - 💥 [Merit Giveaway] - Post useful threads and earn merit 💥, where I have asked the community members to post the useful threads of this forum. Once I collect those threads, I will update all those on my list.

On this occasion, I would like to thank everyone who helped me on my journey. A special thanks to those who criticized me when I created a thread called - Inspired by the stories of forum Members and Heading towards Full Member Rank. Many of them criticized me when I created this thread, saying that you have created this thread for Merits. These critics actually boosted me to post more good posts and to achieve this rank.

Suggestion to Newbies: Try Try Try until you succeed. I know gaining merits is not that easy but your intention on this forum should not be focused only on Merits. You can learn many useful things on this forum. Also, you can share your knowledge here. Not only on this forum, but there are also many useful topics you can search and learn from that and share it here if it helps others also.

Not everyone would have captured this moment, I was so excited when I reached 95 Merits and I was eagerly waiting to achieve 100 merits. @maxreish was the one who gave me 6 merits as an encouragement to reach that rank. I touched 101 merits and was so happy and I took the screenshot of that.

This is not the end, there are a lot more things to achieve. I will continue to put my efforts and contribute good content to this forum.

**Last but not least, I am not writing this post for Merits. I wanted to express my thoughts about my journey in this forum.

A sound congratulations to you on a smart successful journey, I have quite understood that been active on the forum is not about wanting or acquiring merits, but gaining and giving knowledge by posting helpful quality posts on the threads,.
At first when I was newbies, I never expected merit from anyone but I was proud that my post was beneficial to a notable Hero member rank on the forum cryptopreneurBrainboss who merited me.
So I advise newbies today to try as much as they could to post quality posts in forum not minding to earn merit.

It is certainly not an easy task to achieve Full Member status now. 100 earned merit is very hard. I remember 2 years when I reached my first 100 merits.

I was very happy also.

Keep the good work!

Congratulations OP, reaching another rank is clearly a great achievement. Not all can rank up here due to merit system but you prove the system isnt a barricade for that. Keep up the good work and soon you can get to the next level again. Also, I suggest you save your merit record here. Save Your Nice Merit Record Here since you already a full member rank.

Some members are not actually warm-hearted  towards rank up threads, but i think it should not be disapproved, let those who think it's not possible to rank up, read and "buckle up" and try to achieve the same as well, congratulations @Henri Cartier

'Life's but a walking shadow'!
If this post is for merit or not doesn't matter imo, one thing that's certain is that you have done well, and i congratulate you and also your efforts in starting off from 0 merits to more than 100, it's not a walk in the park, there are many members with more posts and activities than you but with no or fewer merits.
