Until now, there is no recorded transaction in that BTC address. It is still empty.
Are you sure he successfully made the transaction? And the wallet address of the receiver is BTC not BCH right?
Is this blockchain wallet address, isn't this?
It means that your transaction is not confirmed, I think if this is not confirmed, he can cancel it. but, better to contact the support at first.
If it is said pending , it is also probably about the transaction fee that is too low and he needs to increase the fee, see on details, and of course, ensure that you get the proof of the transaction. Ask the sender about the transaction and the fee.

-snip- It says pending. This is the address: 13U4KkfPRUDKKr4yEUshx8rB1bM9MJbqnn
Some of your previous posts suggests that you're using Electrum.
And the "pending" in electrum's receive tab is just an "invoice", you're not actually in the process of receiving bitcoins.
Check the 'history' tab first and look for the latest transactions, you may be looking at an outdated/different invoice for a different address on the receive tab.

If there's no similar inbound txn, contact the sender since he clearly didn't sent any or it was dropped from all bitcoin nodes' mempools.

I am having difficulty receiving a bitcoin transfer. It usually takes a couple of hours, but this time its a day and a half and counting.
Can anyone tell me what is going on, and when should I receive the funds? It says pending. This is the address: 13U4KkfPRUDKKr4yEUshx8rB1bM9MJbqnn

I sincerely appreciate any, and all your help.
Still there is no transaction yet on the address you provided so sender used transaction fee less than the recommended one so you need to wait until the Mempool gets clear. If you have the transaction hash of that transaction then it is possible to estimate how long it will take to get into blocks based on the transaction fees used for it.

As other members had mention it is all abou thr fees being used in the transaction but that doesn't always guarantee for a faster transaction because there are sometimes that the delay of the confirmation is not all about the fees but the congestion of the network. If the mempool is congested if you can check it before doing transaction then expect for a longer time it will take before the transaction will get confirm.

If there is no information about the transaction (incoming or outgoing) in the wallet you included in OP then the transaction is not broadcasted yet. Contact the receiving address/service provider for more information.

Can anyone tell me what is going on, and when should I receive the funds? It says pending.
This depends on the fees used as well as the status of the network at the time the transaction was broadcasted. A delayed transaction probably means that the fees included were too low and as such the tx was not given priority and is further off from the tip of the mempool.

There are not income transactions to that addy, maybe if you know the sender addy or the sender tx id you could track where are the coins or the payment. Next time when you need some help share all the information you have in your hands, that way we can help you better while we fully understand the issue.

Even if the transaction has zero confirmations it should be on the address. So, if there is no incoming transaction then is because it was not sent.

Maybe an internal transfer within the exchange? (since bitcoin address can also be used here aside from email, phone etc.)

What service did you use? On what exchange?

And yes, as mentioned, the basic approach would be, contacting the support for clarification. Sometimes, there's just a problem reflecting the amount on the wallet (there's a pending notification right?)

@OP, I checked your wallet address and just as @hosseinimr93 said, there's no transaction so far on that address. If you withdrew from a service provider like an exchange/mixer etc, then I suggest that you contact their support as the transaction hasn't even been broadcasted to the network yet. Once it has been broadcasted, It would be easier to track on blockchain or other Bitcoin explorers. Don't forget to use a tx accelerator if it takes too long (of course, for a broadcasted transaction).

I checked the address in three different block explorers and couldn't find any transaction.
What wallet (or exchange) did you use?

If you have withdrawn bitcoin from a custodial wallet, an exchange or any other third party, they haven't broadcast the transaction yet.
The only thing you can do is to contact their support.
