There must be a big and very urgent reason that made him left this forum with that account. And we don't know what actually happened, so I'm not going to consider whether it was supposed to be him or not.

Whereas if it were me, once again, I can't promise myself to do that, not to leave this forum no matter what. Because we never know what will happen to us. So it would be wiser if we could be here, contribute as much as possible while we still have the chance to be here.

You have given an example here with Lauda, who left the forum forever, but there are more famous personalities who previously made the same decision. One of them is Laszo Hanyecz, who, as you know, bought a pizza for 10000 BTC and last left a message on the forum in 2014. The same can be said about Vitalik Buterin. Each of them had their own reasons to leave the forum, perhaps you will also have them after the time has elapsed. Therefore, "never say never."

It seems you are right, of course because it's hard to believe in words. They can say anything at the moment, like some bounty hunter at the time of ICO hype, IEO exploded. At that time many of them didn't want to leave the forum for any reason even though they had very good job, but after finally ICO and IEO and others disappeared then look how much forum user base is left now. While the new system adjustments on the forum also forced some users to leave, I can consider the merit system as one of them.

The forum's user base has been dropping day by day regardless of the reason, so even if the OP is planning on not wanting to leave the forum for any reason, then I think that was the original plan which could actually change for some reason.

This is a forum and it is dedicated to discussion related to Bitcoin and any other relations of crypto, there are thousands of other people out there that are into crypto and have never for once visited this forum, you maybe surprise but they are all out there on Twitter as maximals who cherish crypto, you see why been on the forum is a thing of choice and not a do or die stuff, it is just a talk platform where everyone share their opinion and understanding of the space. Lauda perhaps in the past was ones an influential and respected person in this forum but I don't think he is obligated to stay online forever, Satoshi left bitcoin in the hands of the people he trusted that could continue the journey of bitcoin and nobody hate him for his disappearance, I think that already justify my explanations.

There are a lot of reasons that brings people into the forum. Some are here in the forum to learn and increase their skills and knowledge about cryptocurrency more particularly as it concerns trading and investment. While some others are in for just the signatures from campaign with the money involved. Then others could be service rendering like selling of their skills like graphic designing, language interpreters etc.

And when these persons must have actualize their main reasons for coming into the forum or whatever brought them into the forum is no more productive to them they may decide to leave, but there as some die hard forum lovers that are just here for the sake of bitcoin as long as bitcoin exists they see no reason to leaving the forum.
Different strokes for different folks.

Mostly are the same with that ans probably not only you do that in the morning. But as we stayed over for a long time here, there are many new people who joined and added more bits of spices and ideas. Of course if there are new ones there are those who gone for some reasons probably bored, died, or whatever it is. Just like Lauda when she left, many have been probably happy cause she was strict on the forum. Nut honestly she is jist protecting the forum's interest over some lousy users. Miss that cat though.

Everyone has their personal and own choice. Lauda has his reasons to leave the forum but I am confused why you are using his name on your thread. I think it is to get the attention of the members. It is your choice to leave or stay, and you can not guarantee what happens next. Don't have overconfident about anything, as long as you get benefits from this forum and your love for Bitcoin is intact, you will stay in the forum. But when you get nothing in return people like you will leave at the speed of flash.

You are new here (if this is your first account) so it's easy to say that you'll stick to the forum. I met too many people that are passionate about Bitcoin, most of them don't even login anymore. That doesn't mean they won't come back though, it's simply there's no motivation left. Maybe they browse the forum occasionally but that's not their daily routine anymore. Personally this forum is the first website I check when I'm online for a decade. It's a different experience for me to witness the change in the forum over the years.

Lauda did not left the forum some time ago in fact its been more than 2 years now as Ever-young has shared his Goodbye post from where you can see the timestamp.
This platform has also taught me a lot too, Before getting knowledge of cryptocurrency and BTC i just tried to earn it in faucets back in 2018 but when i joined this platform in 2020 and started to join bounties and then after spending a year i get to know that i can also contribute in other topics too. So, before making any reply i think about it many times and try my best to make a good post even if it's one line. The point is, you will learn less if you just read other posts and topics but if you try to contribute to it (that topic of in this forum) then you will learn more in lesser time.
Well, you have mentioned the lauda as the example above, and in that context, if i ans, then it all depends on situations that are being made or implemented on you. As according to Lauda, he was in some situation (i do not know the whole story as i was not that active in any threads at that time). Other than that, why bother in leaving a forum from where you can learn a lot but currently i am a student and idk once i get a permanent job then i might give time or not, as it all depends on my interest and currently i have no plans to leave it. As, this platform not only helped me in getting some knowledge but also money too.

I read a similar  story about lauda or so but I believe that one of the major reasons while the user was because his reputation  was tempered and the account was red tagged and after viewing  the profile then, I really felt bad for the user as the forum is totally a non respecter of anyone irrespective of your political, financial or social  status as issues are dealt with on concrete bases.

On the other, I don't think its a big deal leaving the forum as doing so is a matter of choice and there are several  reasons why one might abandon their account which includes:
~ worthless accounts ( that's accounts with red tag) and this one afters mostly  people who wish to participate  in signature campaigns and whether or not one is interested  in a signature campaign,  as long as an account is red tagged, it takes extra effort to keep the account useful as most users wouldn't take your post serious.

~forgotten login details and this is another major challenge that might make people abandon their accounts as some persons rashly create accounts without remembering  the correct login details.

~ Health issues: this also depends on the nature of your health challenges as priorities should be placed on health before wealth.

~Deceased users: and there are some accounts that the users are already dead and maybe have no one to identify or let the forum know of the incidence and in cases where it is made known, there is a tag placed on the profile to identify that they are dead.

This is very true we don't have eternal life so we can't be here forever even as so many of us wish to stay forever (impossible). The rules are so simple and I don't think a genuine use will find it difficult to adapt unless some people who sees the forum as an opportunity to make funds very easily they are the ones who sees cheating and scams as a normal thing and at the end they are forced to leave the forum when it is not their time very bad. I think the most important part of the forum is your ability to learn, interact with people effectively and give back to the community through contribution which can be done through your introduction of new things which can provide general solutions to the problems or needs of users in the forum.

i blessed the day i came across this forum during my journey as a crypto addict, i started as an airdrop and bounty hunter, and this forum has been so helpful throughout my journey. i learnt things here faster with the help of good members who are doing their best out there for the forum. because many threads we put out there really take a lot of efforts and sacrifices. thats to those who really understands what it takes to TEACH. i most say am wowed.

This forum has improved my digital Life ever since I ventured into acquiring more knowledge about bitcoin. My constant contact with this forum has helped me alot in contributing to digital conversations, meetings etc so that I would be knowledgeable enough to be able to onboard others as well. Knowledge gained here is not a waste and can never be a waste because it is applicable in all aspects of ones digital life and moreso, financial dealings on bitcoin.

If we did ask lauda when she just joined the forum if she will even leave, I believe she would have had the same opinion as you're having now. Things change buddy, feelings change. We have so many well know names that are no longer contributing on the forum although they did have an account on the forum at some point and they were very active so you can never now the future. I'm still in contact with some users I met in the forum but are no longer active communicating because of some reason (some have no more spare time, lack of interest etc). Let say a medical practitioner was on the forum while he was till studying, obvious when he start practicing he won't have much time for the forum.

We all love the forum as you do buddy, the forum has added some many things to each of our life, it doesn't matter if we agree to accept it or not. Some people it added more knowledge and extra cash from the monetizing of their signature space and the use of the service or marketplaces board. At some point I took few weeks off the forum just to relax myself because I had some worrying signs in regards to my eyesight (all better now), those days I left the forum, I actually missed it but that's because I didn't have other priorities.

I won't crucify you or criticize you about what you just said of never leaving the forum ever and but then you mentioned a name as a point of reference. The  cool importance is not about staying in the group forever but predominantly about your beneficence and significant contribution to the community that matters. Cause wether or not anyone leaves there absence can only be felt by  the reputation and area of significance in the community.

We can have millions of members in the forum but with no resourceful contributions to discuss and issues but then of what use is such number compared to a thousand useful members.. we are here to learn, and equip our skills and knowledge about bitcoin and it's expected we pass same to other new members, if not, of what use or difference in anyone staying forever in the forum to leaving.

Yes, you are undoubtedly correct. The majority of people are active in this forum because of the signature; if it weren't for that, some of them wouldn't be active for as long as you mentioned the paying job; once some of them have jobs that pay them more than they do on this forum, they won't think about returning because that will still be the best time for everyone to settle down with their families; however, we shouldn't say we won't leave this forum in the future because we don't yet know what that will be.

It's all ok, but how you can be so confident? You don't know what will happen after 5 or 10 years, how you can say that you will never leave forum? C'mon, you don't know what will happen after week or next day.
I will avoid such big statements. Now and in near future I don't plan to leave, but nobody knows what will happen. Maybe I simply won't have enough time for forum because of family, job, business or simply I will lose interest in Bitcoin. Or maybe I will get sick and my health won't let me to use forum.

Probably you're right. Imagine what if everyone would start announcing that they're leaving forum or that they're not going to leave it.

For the time I have been here, I must say that I have refreshed my bitcoin memory alot in doing research as I am one and a researcher as well. This forum has exposed me to lots of bitcoin events both past and present. The knowledge gained, the ideas, contributions and lots of other activities I have engaged myself in with respect to bitcoin and bitcointalk forum.

When we talk of experience and other aspect we should also remember to talk of the work too. Atleast that is a good one here too this platform has done a lot to salvage many people here. We should appreciate this platform for that as well. It is not an easy one for this platform to create good working atmosphere for her members. It is worth saying because I too have been a beneficiary too.

Lauda was not an ordinary member of this forum.  He was a very familiar face in this forum and had a great reputation.  He did not leave this forum happily. there are many reasons behind his leaving the forum. If that happened to you, you would have been forced to quit the forum also. you are getting a lot of benefits in the forum now that's why you are saying this.  But Lauda has done a lot for this forum without benefit.  But here his self-esteem was disturbed so he left the forum with difficulty

Whether you, I or someone leaves the forum, there will be an important reason why it has to be done. Those that have left can always comeback freely and at anytime they wish to do. Sometimes, personal matters don't have to be publicly announced whether you'll leave or not. But if you need to focus into something in real life and it's like giving up your activeness in the forum, that's okay. It's part of someone's detoxing and taking time. Just like satoshi, he's left the forum for years and we'll never know if he'll be back or someone will open his account but that's more of unlikely.

I am happy the forum is impactful, we all get to acquire new knowledge as the day goes by and get to read about other people's experience and mistakes which inturn prevents us from making such mistakes in the future.

Leaving this forum is a personal choice, if person is not comfortable doesn't like like the group, you can leave and go to other platforms to learn, you are speaking your mind, because Being here in the forum doesn't mean you are not investing in cryptocurrencies again, because it's all about learning. I am like you, my consciousness to become better financially has increased greatly since I joined this forum, and just like my username, investment in bitcoins is a step to wealth for me. I have checked myself and realise that I know some things that I did not know before, I like it a lot. I also use to be a very timid person, but since I started to understand the forum, I have noticed myself becoming less timid. My confidence has improved.

There are a few reasons why anyone can leave anything behind, even if they don't want to, I don't want to go down with the details but why is this important? We are here to talk about crypto and share information, I can decide to take my leave and come back 6-10 months to this time, there can be some things that will seek your attention and you won't have any time to come on this forum.

No offense, but I find it strange that you would bear anything that possibly could go bad & wrong and still accept it and stay. Question is of course, could things here in the many places of the forum go so bad, that it would be a real pain in the ass to cope with it, maybe for a long time, maybe forever? I don't know, I have no magic crystal bowl or Palantir. I have some faith in the current administrators and moderators that they do a good enough job to keep it as it is or make the forum every day a little better place. At this size of a forum and user base, that's not an easy task.

If hordes of trolls or destructive weirdos start to marode in and over this forum, beyond control, I might leave for some time if fighting the ground becomes too tedious. I don't enjoy destruction, offenses, flame wars, endless trolling.

I certainly will lurk in from time to time, to check if air got breathable again, as I like this forum a lot, too. As it is now, I wouldn't want to leave either, but I'm not that absolute to accept anything here. I have certain principles and lines that shall not be crossed too often. And if I can't defend my lines anymore, it'll be time to move on.

This forum is a place where we can be getting constant information about Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency. There are plenty reasons why some persons choose to be in this forum because of the versatile information we can get here. This forum is fun especially when you doing the right thing and not trying to deceive the entire forum. This is a community where we can interact with people from different part of the world and share opportunities. We can even get some work opportunity here if we have the skills and the experience for what it takes for us to employed or connected to projects that need our services.

The other interesting thing is that you are so sure of not leaving the forum, nobody can be sure about that, nobody is immortal, nobody is immune to everything, and most important not even a forum can be eternal. Might sound a bit rude but you know, rather than telling people you're not going to leave it should be the other way around, users telling you not to quit or missing you when you do it.

Don't be too absolute that you can't ever leave the forum. Life happens, temperament and interests change too. You never can tell what situation you will be faced with in future that will dictate you leave here for good. I ain't talking about stop posting because of death here, by the way. In Lauda's case, I believe the user left intentionally because of the so much drama behind their moniker. Some members are even of the opinion that the person behind the Lauda moniker didn't completely exit the forum. Possibly, they're still here under another guise.

Ahh Lauda! He/she used to be a very valuable asset in the early days of this forum especially when he/she reported dozens of scams and spams on this forum. In a way, he/she contributed greatly for the betterment of this forum. As years passed by, however, his/her reputation slowly became questionable, along with several allegations and accusations of abusing the trust ratings, until he/she left ultimately.

We'll never know if Lauda created an alternate account and maybe he/she is still active to this day, under the guise and mask of a new account.

Personally, I do not think that I would also leave this forum given the number of contributions and privileges that I experienced. The fact that campaign signatures exist, there is that motivation for me to do great and share my insights for everyone.

I think, we are not the only ones who benefit from this forum. But, all new users are assisted in understanding bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, then interaction with fellow communities is born so that someone will feel comfortable and motivated to stay involved. Yes. nice statement. and True this forum provides an opportunity to share thoughts, experiences, and insights that may not be easily found elsewhere.

Any user leaving the forum does not mean that the forum was not helpful to them. It is possible that the user has their exact reasons. Some people already have a good understanding of what cryptocurrency is before joining the forum, and there is nothing new for them to learn in the forum because they know how to find out their own useful information, if contributing in this forum begins to become a burden to them that is wearing them down mentally and distracting from other activities that they are also very well involved in, they may just decide to quit contributing in the forum.

This is the only forum for free that will help you in all aspects of cryptocurrency. And if you don't make any mistakes, the forum will never leave you. If you look around the forum, you will find many old members who are active since the beginning.

"Change is the only thing that never changes" so its impossible to say I will never this forum because there can be a situation when you don't want to involve in too much of drama going around you in the forum for some reason I mean just in case, would you still say I am here to stay or just leave its not a big deal to gather information without logging in too...

Don't forget many reputed great veterans of forum is not active so the community just keep shrinking while the new members are having enough knowledge and keep the forum updated about anything related to crypto so at the end that matters more.

It is possible that Lauda is among us on this forum and continues to communicate under a new nickname (I don't think that this is the case). I would suggest that Lauda just reads about what is happening here from time to time.

It is now that you think that you will never leave bitcointalk, but after many years (perhaps even earlier) your awareness will reach an even higher level and you will simply become bored here, for the reason that you will not learn anything new here. And then, one day, you will leave the last post on the forum, like Lauda. Or leave silently. Here's how it goes.

Although I am more inclined to believe that not only knowledge and information is a deterrent in the forum. Communication with like-minded people still plays a high role.

I don't want to look ahead and can only say the following. At the moment, I still have an interest to communicate on the forum, but I can not say how long this will last. Come what may.

Although Lauda account was permanently banned by theymos, but we never know if the person behind Lauda's account create a new account and keep active posting in this forum.

Well I've read above users pointing if the @OP become active because of signature campaign, this is true, but there's a difference between leaving this forum and not active posting. I think if signature would be disabled, I would still read users post in this forum, but I just not that active.

I see what you mean, the bitcointalk.org forum has become a new home for you. During your time here you have gained a lot of knowledge that makes you feel much better than before. The thing that makes it difficult for you to leave the forum is because you already have a good bond between fellow forum users and another reason you can achieve income after completing weekly assignments from the signature campaign that you are promoting.
Everyone has the right to his decision, including Lauda who left the forum for personal reasons. But one thing that no one in this forum can fight against is time. When that time comes, you will leave the forum even though you have not the slightest intention of leaving here. Maybe you understand what I mean, because nothing is eternal in this world.

People leave the forum, not because they just want to leave. Knowing one will want to leave a place where he or she acquires knowledge, even if the little payment that the user receives is an added advantage that encourages him or her to be active, with those payments one can still be visiting the forum little by little because the forum is kind of fun to be with, and even if you have a higher paying job, just like a member has said, it will not aid you in leaving the forum. To me, it will just be like the way I scroll through my social media accounts. When I am bored, I also do the same here on the forum. When I get very tired, I just scroll through the forum and read through some interesting topic without dropping a single reply.

That's that. Talking about leaving the forum, we will miss you here when you have actually dropped something that we are going to use and remember you in this forum. If not, according to JayJuanGee, people are easily forgotten here on the forum when you are absent, especially when no one knows you unless they see a few of your posts or contributions on a few threads.

Leaving the forum does not mean you don't like the forum, and the memories with it, there are things that led to someone's decision, like family, health, and other issues.
Others have other priorities, there will come times like this, that you need to make a tough decisions in life.
but the good thing about the forum is you can comeback anytime you want, that what make this forum great, and very sure if you are active in the forum people will recognize you once you return,
as long as you love and the passion to bitcoin and other digital currency, and enthusiasm to exchange knowledge, the forum will always be waiting for those people to return.

There is no doubt that as a result of this forum many people are increasing their knowledge about new things daily with the information given here. You are also right that you can get useful information from other places besides this forum, but I found this forum most convenient and useful than other platforms.

I don't think till date I have had any problem to leave this forum. Currently I have not thought of leaving this platform till date but no one can predict the future because with time you can leave and join things. It depends on the interest of each person, if he is interested in anything, he stays connected and as soon as he loses interest, he disconnects himself from the forum.

Mee to and I also trying to become regular in this forum. Because this forum is a place where you will learn about upcoming and present technologies in Blockchain. It's really a friendly place for talking about Blockchain and I have learnt many more ideas about crypto from many users. I am very much thankful to them. There are other places where one can learn about Bitcoin, but when it comes to a location where one can enjoy talking with others about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, I will advise people to come here (Bitcointalk forum). It is cool and lovely here to learn easily, but that doesn't mean I can't leave the forum despite the fact that I am enjoying it, if I have any reason to leave forum permanently, why should I force myself staying here? So far leaving here doesn't mean I am separating myself from Bitcoin investment. Any user who decides to leave this forum may have a specific cause for doing so, particularly if they believe their time will never allow it.everyone is there for one of two reasons so never use your aims to judge others.

As much as we wanted not to leave, this is impossible since we dont have am eternal life. Ive seen some users leave not because they wanted too but also its their time to say goodbye already. But while you are here just do and follow the rules and regulations on forum. Most people violates it and then force to leave due to their status. For me Id stay until I am capable of contributing here and users still warrants my presence then Im just gonna stay.

Have you taken further steps in knowing why he left the forum, as a matter of fact anyone can leave the forum or the forum withdrawing a user as well if he goes against the ethics here on it rules and regulations, about Lauda, he had made a legacy already that will always be remembered about him on the forum even for years to come


Everyone has his own purpose for comi onboard on this forum, some once they finds answer to their search they leave, some stay, there could also be some natural circumstances that may warrant a member leaving or being inactive, I don't need to mention some, you should have an idea on such examples under that category, job nature, family, health condition among other factors could also stops one, we just need to be hopeful that the unexpected should not hit us hard such a way that we can't have access to the forum again.

You know, sometimes the accompanying events in our lives make us leave places that are very dear to us. Against our will. Therefore, to be too confident is to make God laugh and make fun of what you can believe. There were several events in my time on the forum that forced me to cut short my visits here. A couple of events that threw me off track, like my husband's injury and my COVID disease, made me forget about the forum completely for a while. There are things much more expensive than living on the Internet. I would say more: you don't need to turn being on the forum into a duty or into perfect love.
Let this place be just an addition to your life, not the basis and meaning of it.

Why of all the people who left you remembered Lauda He was a signature campaign and one of the people who tried to fight spam in the forum, he left but others came to this industry as many people left.
The account in Lauda's name has disappeared, but it is likely that s/he has returned with a new account and trading history.
Therefore, unless it is confirmed that a user has died, he will return again.

All of us will leave for one reason or another. Some may leave because signature campaigns are banned. Some have found a better job. Some have gotten married. Some have become rich from the profits they have collected. There are many reasons and the result is supposed to be an attempt to spread awareness of the importance of Bitcoin and its role in improving the lives of some.

Never say never. You never know what might happen. I actually had a break from the forum for a couple of years and then came back and I'm far from the only one. The funny thing is that if you break your promise, I don't know how we will hold it against you, as we will have no way of contacting you.

You know what, there's one thing that's permanent in this world, and that is "CHANGE".
You are only saying that today, but after a few years, you might leave this forum for whatever reason it is. It maybe because you're busy, or because you might have sickness that might be the reason for you not to use your computer anymore (hope it will not happen anytime soon). Overall, your thinking will change for sure .

Can I ask a question OP? What if theymos removed signature campaign. Will you still stay in the forum no matter what like what you said?

These are I think the reasons that might cause me to leave this forum. I already said to one reputable member here thru PM that death might be the sole reason why I'm leaving the forum, but with what's happening to me currently, it seems like there will be a time where I might leave because of me being busy with my personal life. Well one thing's for sure though. If I will be leaving the forum (for some reasons), whether you care or not, I will share it here.

No one is forcing you to leave lol. It's your sole decision if you want to stay or not. Also, your statement is saying you have predicted your future and everything will be fine for you in the coming years. You are talking about Lauda, maybe they were part of this forum since earlier and now they don't have a reason to stay active on this forum so they just left it. It's not like they can never login back or they sold their account. It's just a matter of time.

You can loose your job, get sick or find love and they will all impact your ability to contribute to the forum.  Nothing ever stays the same - you can hope it doesn't, but sometimes life will throw you a curve ball.

Not only Lauda, many other members left the forum after the massive spam endemic in this forum as consequence of ICO wave in 2017 - 2018, or as consequence of personal attacks like TMAN, or they passed away like Zepher, TECHSHARE, ... or by unknown reasons like they are super rich now and enjoy their lives somewhere, or account was hacked but failed to recover it.

If the member who has a long time here, if it's not a permanent ban, personal attack which causes massive disappointment, become a billionaire and don't have time to watch this forum & join discussions, it's super hard to leave the forum if he is still alive.

You shouldn't talk like that because you never know what happen in next, maybe something important happen where you must leave this forum forever like dead, or diseased where you can't type your laptop. Or Maybe today you have free time and can spare it between your real work, and think to never leave this forum. but it will be different if you have a promotion like being a manager in your company, you will have busy every day, and don't have time to post here.

because I have been a thing like that before after I find this forum very useful, and made my day so precious, but in another day, I felt this forum looks normal like other forums, and as a matter of fact, I felt social media is better because is more promising if you as a marketer.

And, I ever think before, if this forum is really important and have strategic for marketing, Maybe great people like Adam back, Vitalic, CZ, or other popular bitcoiner will come and stay here for a long time, In fact, a famous person like them have left this forum a long time ago.

The real life event may probably one of the reason that make me leave the forum but if nothing so serious happen in RL I might stay in the forum.  The forum is one of the leading source of information in cryptocurrency.  It also holds the history and development of the leading cryptocurrency.  It also holds vast information about Bitcoin technicalities, the wallets and mining discussion.

There are lots of reason why staying in the forum is beneficial while there is none when we leave the forum.

The forum is immensely focused on cryptocurrency, and you'll be amazed by the wealth of knowledge possessed by individuals here regarding trading, blockchain technology, mining, and various other related topics. However, I intend to reduce my level of activity following the upcoming bull run as I aspire to pursue a different role. Additionally, there is an opportunity to engage in trading within the forum, although it carries risks. Nonetheless, members can suggest secure transactions or propose the use of escrow services to mitigate these risks.

Yes, this forum has been a great platform for learning and interacting with others, and I do not think I can ever find another forum like this. But I cannot say I would never leave this forum. There is always a first time for everything.  So if the forum turns into something that I do not like or agree with, or if this forum will turn into a place where people are no longer allowed to express their opinions, then I am going to leave the forum.

I do not see that happening anytime soon. But if it does, then I am out of here.  

Many of us have become addicted to the forum that we must check the forum almost every day. Apart from the quality Bitcoin education I derive from the forum, I have also built a relationship with the forum and some members that will make it very difficult to leave this forum. But issues like health problems or lack of time can be a challenge to be active in the forum. Only sickness can make me leave the forum entirely. Also if one gets a job that is time consuming, the constant visit to the forum might become limited. I don't think I will totally leave the forum because Bitcoin will always be my number one investment and currency. Therefore, I will always come back here once in a while to gather information.


Signature campaign makes members more active and mandates them to make contributions. Ending signature campaigns will reduce post counts but people might still visit the forum because they want to be informed about a currency they own. This forum is one of the best mediums to gain knowledge about new developments in the Bitcoin space.

Bitcointalk is the largest Bitcoin community where Bitcoiners interact, where they guide other newbies to the crypto world and also guide some new miners and many more  business transaction going on here. So, depending on what your purpose is before joining the forum, that's what can keep you from leaving, because I know that a lot of users have registered here, had a few business, and left without making any announcement. If you think the forum is something you can't do without, then suit yourself. I know we still have one of the oldest members in this forum that's still active, so if you feel that's how you wish to stay in the forum, that's good.

Maybe when you have a high paying job and then you need time for your family you will see yourself leaving this forum.
I included job because signature campaign is what makes it look as if most of us are so passionate about the forum.

When it comes to Bitcoin awareness, this forum is one of the best place to get enough awareness and basic guides about Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency; nevertheless, there are some platforms out there that can offer similar free service as this forum, but to me this is a friendly place to learn and share some knowledges about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.



The user might have a good reason for leaving the forum that is why he left, moreover, there are some works you will be doing that will take off all your time and you will not get time for the forum, therefore, because of such issues, some people will chose to leave the forum because they don't have time.

Yep. Lauda is one of the great members in this forum previously, but he left the forum due to a certain reason. I think we must appreciate what he did, everyone must have their own reason to stay or leave. It is not something we should debate. Let's forget about Lauda, just focus on your own goal!!

It is good if you are aware that this forum is very helpful for you and you can't be separated from this forum. However, you can't force other members to feel the same as you. Every member may have a different view, just respect each other.

You seee, one's reputation has a big role to play when it comes to this.. but anyone won't also wanna leave the forum since he's got a good reputation - Just so peeps would miss them?? Sounds awkward anyways.
The forum has been helpful to everyone - in every ramification I should ever think of.. could you believe I instantly spot out Scammy projects when I see them?? ...and I've also been able to comfortably learn about the Blockchain and the technicalities in BTC Trnx as a whole... Yeah, it's common but - c'monnn, that's an achievement... A big one in that case.

Well it's not something new Lauda was actually of a great help to forum and him leaving the forum was actually something the forum miss alot and he have a great reason for doing that and he didn't only left the forum he made it known base on the reputation that he have created.

It's actually nice that you have decided not to leave the forum no matter what, but I doubt anyone is even going to miss or notice you if you think of leaving the forum. So I don't even see any reason or point of announcing that you won't leave the forum.

It's not all about that at all. It's a person's decision to leave or not. Being here in the forum doesn't mean you are not interested in cryptocurrency because it's all about learning. It is true that there are other platforms where you can find information that you haven't know yet but this forum is also like that where everyone is sharing what they know and help those who needs help. We don't know the real reason why a person will left but I am sure there's a reason for it or either that person being a bad one that cause problem and many people doesn't like someone bad or causing problem and decided to leave. Anyway, I stop visiting this forum over a year but it doesn't mean I leave that's my point.

I read about a user I think the name is Lauda who left the forum some time ago. I must confess that this forum has been so helpful to me. I have become bitcoin conscious and I discover that I have things to chip in about bitcoin or cryptocurrencies whenever friends are talking about it. And when I mean something to chip I mean I more than just the name of the founder of bitcoin, the year it was founded etc but the things kike the current events, security, wallets, mixers, and a little bit of technical stuff.

I know some persons may say that I can still get this somewhere else, I know. I am trying to say is that my awareness has increase as a result of association here. I don't think I am never going to leave this forum no matter what. What about you ? Can there be anything (assuming you did not break any of the rules) that will make you leave the forum or not?
