Food delivery is a brutal business and I can't afford not to have a stable salary.
I will do other things with crypto, but nothing that has to do with food delivery. I'd like to start with what I know and be innovative with that.

That would be great but i doubt there will be any big potential in it, Many people still prefer old transaction methods over crypto.

That is good to try to be a food delivery service using crypto payment because you can be the first person who uses crypto. But it needs more explanation about crypto to people who order the food from you and that is not easy. I think you can still use GCash as a payment method while you introduce crypto to people. I think sooner or later, and people will be aware of crypto and start using crypto for payment systems. So they will have an option to pay.

Are you from the Philippines? Food Delivery is a growing industry in the Philippines because of the convenience that it brings. If you live there, I don't think that you will have that much success by making crypto as a payment option because not a lot of people know about crypto or even how to use it. Maybe you will be successful in that because I am just observing what's happening around me and I observed that crypto users are outnumbered in the Philippines.

Yes I’m from the Philippines mate. I’m even planning to print reflectorized cryptocurrency logos or “Bitcoin accepted” for night time deliveries. Maybe I can attach it to my backpack or full face helmet. But for now, I ain’t gonna start ride my e-scooter until I have finished my homework in buying safety and security gear (alarms), reflectors for my e-scooter, etc. Plus, I’ll be buying miniature camera that I can attach to my helmet, etc. It’s about thinking outside of the box.
Its an action camera if I am not wrong and the best one is GO pro which may cost you around 1000 USD but its not recommended for you since you want to make use of something you have so go for local brands which atleast have stabilization and decent audio quality.

Nice idea. Glad you want to use your free time to make some more money and be immune to curfew. Haha.

The food delivery industry is big and rapidly growing, you should do really well. Introducing crypto in the mix will make transactions seamless too, especially if buyers just have to scan to pay Cool

I am awaiting this in my country where the things get clear so that merchants can start accepting the crypto payment and would like to order at times with crypto payments instead of using cash or card. I do expect only a matter of time before things start to roll here in big manner.

There are online seller that might let you have a payments Via crypto, just make it mentioned in time of transacting .
We crypto users only needs to let people Know about our desire and let others to comply .
But make sure to keep the safest transacting in which P2p.

In which country you live? the food delivery industry is booming and it's going to be the next big thing because of the pandemic.

Now, it's going to give a twist because of the acceptance of cryptocurrencies for direct payment and this is really a good start that OP has initiated.

With the QR code ready for quicker scanning.

I was even thinking of printing my Coins PH QR code and doing the same thing to create awareness and slow massive adoption of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies for being a food delivery rider.

!
and best to add logo of Bitcoin and some other cryptocurrency mate.

This will bring attractions from other crypto users and they might ask you directly about how to deal using crypto.

Couple of times that the delivery Guy from not only food panda but other online site as well that try to ask me about Crypto paying them .

But for my own security? i denied to be knowing about this currencies because those people had nothing to do with me so i Hide my connections.

Though at one point, I am the one who offered to use crypto as payment because that very moment i really have no cash in pocket as i can't find my wallet and needed to pay upfront .luckily that the delivery boy has this option and we got the transaction smooth.

To tell you the truth ? i am also having this work as sideline and what i do ? everytime that i delivered the Food they ordered , i am asking them if they are using coins.ph and if did then trying to seek if they can pay me directly to my Bitcoin address instead of Gcash payment and so far i have 3 out of 10 ratio from my all deliveries .

By the way, are you using an e-scooter as well? Or motorcycle or bicycle? The only weakness of e-scooter when I am going to be a Food Panda Rider is the rain. Now that we are in a rainy season, this is kinda concerning for my e-scooter unless I can find some ways to protect my battery from being exposed to water. I don’t care if my e-scooter is splash proof, I ain’t convinced.

After all, I don’t want Food Panda rider to be my full-time job, just a sideline work as well because I’m already full time in various cryptocurrency jobs and gigs. It’s just that I am so bored working at home for most of the time and not being able to travel outside of my city and province, so I wanna do something new like this. I am currently applying but I realized that I have no NBI yet which already expired (which is a mandatory requirement for applying to Food Panda).

Ain’t ashamed of myself if I am gonna be a Food Panda rider, it’s all about opportunities!

It is a very good decision for food distributors to accept crypto payments and this will increase the demand for crypto. But in many countries it is not used bitcoin is only the future because fiat currencies will eventually lose their value due to overprinting fiat money has a tendency to become zero and worthless cryptocurrency is a legal tender, and it reduces the risk of all kinds of fraud. With the help of blockchain technology it is possible to identify the originality of the product crypto will double your money.

Your idea is very good to be realized, because this can help crypto more known to many people. But unfortunately not all countries accept
crypto as payment, because some countries only accept crypto as a digital asset. If in your country the government has legalized crypto
as a payment, it will be easy for you to realize it. I hope the food delivery business that you want to run can run well, it's nice to know that
there is a food delivery that accepts crypto payments.

If I would ever open up a business I would add up crypto as a payment to spread awareness about it.
I also see more online seller on social media near me and my wife also wants to do it so if we ever pursue it we would also accept Bitcoin on it.
I don't have any motorcycle but I think it is a good idea to help promote crypto so good luck to you OP.

Do the initiative.

And if there are problems that shall occur during your first try then let them appear. As long as you've done your initiative, that's a good move from you, and wishing you that it will have a positive result.

Your next big step is to buy a good ride, motorcycle that you won't have any trouble during rainy days if the demand of delivery is high.

In my city, there is a food ordering application that uses electric bicycles, but for e-scooter is it possible?

As competition continues to emerge, companies that do not want to innovate will surely be left behind. accepting food delivery orders with cryptocurrency payments is a good concept it's just that in some countries it is still illegal to accept payments with cryptocurrencies.

I just bought myself a Xiaomi e-scooter a couple of days ago. Initially I just want it for my personal use going in and out, but I was already thinking of being one of the first guys in the city who is a food delivery rider (Food Panda) using e-scooter as most of them here are using bicycles and motorcycles. I don’t have driver’s license yet because I had lack of time plus driving schools aren’t opened due to quarantine restrictions, so e-scooters are just fine because of not using gas. Plus, I have confirmed it from my contact who is working in the Land Transportation Office that e-scooters doesn’t need to be registered and having a mandatory driver’s license.

I feel that e-scooters are having the advantage, especially during traffic times. However, there are risks as well like not being able to ride it on the rainy day (concerned about the battery) unless I’m gonna buy a protector for it, avoiding bumpy roads or carrying heavy stuff, etc.

Plus, food delivery riders here are categorized by our national government as essential workers, so there’s curfew immunity lol. Although I am happy with my crypto income, it’s just that I feel bored already working at home most of the time and wanna do something new. Food Panda is mainly using GCash as a payment method, but I heard that they are eyeing cryptocurrencies. So it would be great if customers are gonna pay in crypto using the GCash payment method.

That is a great idea, in my city I see almost all food delivery drivers on bicycles, only a few cars are actually still driving around delivery food. Using an E Scooter is a good idea, I think people prefer if their food is delivered by environmental friendly transports. I definitely tip more when I see a bicycle in front of the house. E scooters are faster than bicycles which is great, but they can't ride against the traffic flow in a one way straight which bicycles can do. So on bigger distances a E scooter seems faster, but on shorter distances a bicycle might still be the best chance. What if you put both in front of the retaurant and just take the one that is faster for each delivery?

Compare rates on different exchanges & swap.
Congrats.
They could require it to be registered if you want to use it for the food delivery business.
It'll probably not be necessary if it's for private use only, but using it for food delivery business could be considered as public use and would require registration.

Wonder what the Xiaomi e-scooter looks like.
How do you carry customers food?

E scooters are economic but I am not sure they are durable for long works, anyway it should come up with a certain kind of warranty so you won't be losing anything if something happens to your ebike in the near future.

But only the customers who orders the food is going to select the payment modes not the riders so even if there is a cryptocurrency payment accepted on the site, I don't think anyone is going to use it as regular payment mode.
