Am happy for you for being so lucky in that prediction, you decision to invest some of that money into Bitcoin was also a smart move but the invested amount is small and will not yield much profit during bull market, keep investing more through the DCA strategy as you said to have been doing. The image on the OP looks like you are storing your Bitcoin in a centralized exchange, if that is right, you must not store your coins on exchange, it is risky.

Congratulations and welcome to the beginning of your Bitcoin journey. I would advise that you send those bitcoin out of that exchange and into a wallet address that you have complete control over. Centralized exchanges aren’t bad but you should know that they are meant (or best) for you to trade assets and not store them.

I would like to congratulate you with how you have distributed that prize that you've got from Blackjack's event. I was a winner too with bc.game's prediction event but I haven't decided yet on how I am going to spend it but maybe soon, I'd use a portion of it to DCA as well. I barely remember what I did with my first payment years ago but typically just like everyone else due to excitement, cashed it out. Touching it with cash and actual fiat probably did the excitement but as time passes by, people like me and the others have come to realize how important it is to save your BTCs first and wait for the right time to do that again. But no one will stop you from saving, investing, collecting and even selling, just do your own thing and be happy with the process and whatever will the results be. I received my first payment from a signature campaign. It feels really good when you do work online and get paid. I work in real life and I receive a salary from my boss. I remember my first salary was $80. I got it from another place, originally I got it from Gambling, although I am not into gambling anymore, but the first salary we celebrated with my family. My first bitcoin payment? There are not a lot of jobs that would pay for services in Bitcoin. My first bitcoin payment would be from signature campaigns. I can’t remember which one but I’m sure it was around $40 worth of bitcoins. I was very excited about it, held on to it for a long while. I’m not much of a spender when it comes to my coins. I prefer to hodl for long term.

That's what I also did wayback years ago and I never regret using my own money for investing, at least I can see my money grow even more instead of just getting used up on things that aren't that important. I came out second in the art contest, and I was awarded about $500, which is the first time I have ever won anything from this forum, if I could remember correctly. For me to reserve that memory, I spent half of that money on personal stuff and lent out about 0.00876 BTC, which as of then was worth about $250, which I later received back on a different wallet that I tagged Roobet reward. As of the last time I checked, the price of it was about $500+, close to $600, and I don't even have the intention of selling it off for now.

I would say dollar cost averaging into bitcoin little by little is a solid plan.  But no need to sell any along the way if you are steadily buying more.  That way you can hang onto all your coin since you are making regular investments anyway.

I hope you have knowledge about wallet and how to securely protect your funds? I doubt thou because you keep the coin in an exchange wallet known as custodial wallet, you don't have the private key to the wallet and if anything should happen to that exchange now like bankrupt or cyber attack, your coins are gone. I used to play at PrimeDice and Bitsler in the earlier days; at that time, I won around 11 dollars, and I cashed it out instantly. I went to a restaurant and just ordered food with the money and spent money in this manner. If I had held that amount of money at that time, then definitely it would have been 500 dollars worth of bitcoins by now.

Never ever think of gambling as a sound way to make money, always have predefined limits and strictly adhere to them. Don't let it interfere with your normal life. I was really happy to receive this payment. And as I received the first online payment of my life from @icopress, I respect and respect @icopress from my heart and I will be grateful to him for the rest of my life. Thanks bro.

 I didn't want to waste the first payment of my life, I wanted to put it to good use, so I withdrew half of the money, and from this money I spent $10 to buy food for ten poor people, and the remaining $12 I enjoyed with my family having some good food. .

And the other half of my payment I have invested in Bitcoin, I will hold it in Bitcoin, although I regularly invest and hold in Bitcoin using the DCA method on a weekly basis. But I have kept this money completely aside. Because this is my first online payment money so I will keep it separate. I have about $23 in bitcoin right now from my payment.
