I assume you live in the states? I see many online retailers have free shipping. Why don't you order it to your place first, then ship it off to the buyer.

What happens if the buyer received his goods to his home addres, that's now registered with the online retailer, and then later on the PayPal payment is reversed ?

Will the buyer then face issues with law enforcement ?

I understand you are calling buyer the one who is selling BTC.
I don't think that the buyer will have problems because the one who payed on eBay is the other one. Is like I buy it but I don't buy it for me, but for another people. If he reverts the PayPal payement, he will have to prove that the item is not received.

Paypal for BTC = SCAM.

Also against PayPal's terms.

Don't go for it.

The point is that is not PayPal for BTC, and I am not buying Bitcoins with PayPal. I am just buying a product for someone and when he receives the product he pays me. Is more like BTC for real life products.

.24/48 is like twice the price of the exchange

Thats exactly the kind of price you are looking for from ebay, and go take a look that is actually one of the cheapest offers out there.

Hello,
I've got some $ left over in my PayPal account since I want to stop using PayPal. I've thought that a good way to getting some BTC with this money is to buy something on eBay or Amazon for someone and then, when he receives the object, I get the BTCitcoin payment.

Do you think can I be scammed with this transaction?

If someone is interested, I haven't got any intention to make money, I simply want to convert from USD to BTC. The conditions will be the following:
  • Only to trustful users. This condition will be on my own criteria.
  • The BTC quantity will be deposited in a trustful escrow chosen by both of us. I will pay the fees.
  • I've only got $36 to buy, so the total price of product+shipping can't be over this qty. The conversion rate will be the one of MT GOX at the moment of buying the product. This will be the moment when you should deposit the BTC in the escrow.

Thank you vm.

WOuld you be willing to buy .24 BTC worth $46 from ebay ?
I am also offering some on my Fiverr page fiverr.com/wingrid3r  and if I do bigger transactions I will do it through localbitcoins where you will either send the money to my bank or paypal.

The point is that I don't wanna do a Bitcoin for PayPal transaction since is not safe for the BTC seller and if I want to buy I have to pay an unfair exchange. I think that the method I've posted is pretty safe for everybody.
