People have got to stop claiming ever thing is a scam in the btc community. You're scaring new people away from the coin for one and it gives bitcoin a bad rep. Everytime someone post something someone has to say its a scam. How will new users ever get involved if you're so quick to boot them? Lighten up a little. We appreciate your trolling and trying to protect your fellow bitcoin users but chill out a little. I do agree loans arent for everyone but its his money and its between him and whomever accepts it. Its okay to put a little warning comment or something but attacking someone on a forum when they can be innocent just isn't right.

Yes, I agree.

People like Kouye and Vod are a plague with their negativity. A broken clock is right once a day, such is their accusatory manner of labeling scammers with reckless abandon.

Requesting a small loan of 0.20 btc

Will repay 0.225 btc within a week from time of loan given

I do not have collateral, I plan on purchasing btc on Tuesday. Can't do so momentarily since banks aren't open.

I will be purchasing via cash deposit on LocalBitcoins, however,

Here's a recent thread in which I repaid a loan early and in full as promised:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php? topic=310177.msg3345218#msg3345218

If you decide to provide me with this loan of 0.20 btc,

Please send to my payment address:

1JP2yPVpkYM2qkUQUuvFu722jhPbrFSgAa

and provide your BTC address that you'd like to me to pay the 0.225 btc

(or PM me if you'd like to keep your btc address private)

Thank you for your time

Biggest crackthread ever...sigh.

Newbs getting desperate for loans and can't find the 0% interest loans thread?  Smiley

Probably because newbs that dont have collateral or the established rep arent able to get 0% interest loans.

If they don't have collateral and they're newbs, they shouldn't be getting loans.

Thats a way to look at it.  There are exceptions to every rule, but I see your point there.

Hi,
I would like to make a request for a 0.1 btc loan.  I can repay 0.125 btc within 24 hours.

I don't know what I can provide you as collateral but reason for this loan request is that I have only felt comfortable buying Bitcoins via making a cash deposit to a bitcoin seller's bank account.

It's still Sunday evening where I am located.so I would have to wait til tomorrow in order for me to get a hold of the bitcoins I plan to purchase.

Thanks for taking the time

EDIT: No longer needing loan, but thank you for you for allowing the opportunity.

I currently have quite a bit of bitcoins in the bank and I'm wanting to test the market with loaning. I would first like to start out small and see where it ends up, I'm not an idiot with my money nor my bitcoins. I didn't get what I have through being naive and gullible either, so if you plan on trying to defraud me you're wasting your time.

I'd like to offer this small loan of 0.25 BTC to verified trusted and respected members of this community. I'm asking for a payback of 0.30 BTC within 7 days of the loan.

How to Apply:
  • Explain why you are wanting this loan
  • Describe how you plan on paying it back
  • Tell me why I should give it to you

I request that all applications and communications dealing with this loan be posted here within this thread so it can be public and our fellow peers give their input about your reputation as well.

I would personally like to find someone that is reliable and credit worthy (I know, few and far in between these days) that I can develop a relationship with where we could benefit from each other in the future.

Thanks in advance and I hope we can do business together.

Sorry, but I can get longer and larger loans for 0% interest. I don't see why we should pay 20% interest to you for a 7 day loan, it's not really very good. That kind of interest rate is usually for higher-risk loans. Not low-risk loans.

cbhelp, which one is the end point for the scam?  1btc or higher?

Sorry, but I'm gonna keep bustin' your balls.

Not sure if you are scamming or not but it really does look like it.  Why do you keep asking for money, bro?  I see your sports bets are doing well.  If you are WINNING your games, then why do you need OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY!?

Edit:
Added the following negative trust to cbhelp:

"Started by asking for a loan for sports betting of 1BTC. He then settled on .25BTC and is now asking for larger amounts. Not even a few days ago I apologized to Kouye publicly here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/filled-looking-for-3btc-loan-until-friday-sep-20th-295512 for taking similar sports betting loans stating "I do apologize if it is encouraging scammers to try and take out similar loans. ". I suspect he is trying to set up the lender for "the big score" when he will abandon the account and make a new one.

This happened to me last month with user "marjamrob". It's possible that this could be the same person as he was last active on September 18th 2013.

See accusation thread:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/scammer-warning-marjamrob-270334

Convince me otherwise and I will remove this feedback. All users beware as he seems extremely sketchy."

Here's my deposit address to my sports book.  Its a one time address, so for future loans it'll be different I think.

This loan is for .25, to be repaid by this time tomorrow, in the amount of .275.  Please post a repayment address.

I confirm I received .25 from OP, and will be repaying this loan by this time, tomorrow, at a rate of .275

Please post or PM me a repayment address, at your convenience.

Thanks

Cardinals won for me, in addition to a few soccer wins.  Ready to repay, awaiting address.

What kind of interest rate would we be looking at?  With .25, I would offer .275 back with a term of 24 hours.  This reduces the interest I currently pay now for loans.  I would take the loan if this would be an open loan, where I can repay it, and take out a new loan, since I bet often.

I would repay either through winnings or ill buy on btcquick of I lose.  Either way, repaid within 24 hours, unless there is a delay with btcquick, in that case, ill order through coinbase.  I'm eligible for instant buys there in 9 days anyways, and that service os way cheaper then btcquick.

Also, I want to repay my outstanding loan before taking out another, ill be repaying it in about 10 hours (morning)

Still waiting for repayment for yesterday's loan.
Do not loan him before I get repaid please.

Below os exactly what I sent to kouye. He never replied.

So, I asked for a loan because I was awaiting btcQuick to process my payment.  The reason I was waiting was because I initially entered the wrong card number into google wallet, and it declined, then I placed a new order, and enetered the correct order, but google wallet froze my acciount until I called them, so they could be sure it was me using my account.

Links:

Email from btcQuick:  http://imgur.com/qZFnt7c

Email from Google:  http://imgur.com/i9InS0p

Screen Cap of the .17xxxx btc I had pending, when asked for the .1 loan.  This shows it was completed afterwords, and I withdrew my loan request:  http://imgur.com/Q7Vio8P

Sure, there are some scammy people out there.  And sure, I post a lot.  I post a lot and try to make good posts because I get bored at work, and I also get paid from my signature for quality posts.

I don't know why you decided to say that you think I am a one time trade account, but I hope that you reconsider jumping to conclusions in the future.

Thanks.

I totally agree with you.  I pmd kouye with links and even screenshots to back my proof up, he ignored me and the pm.  I then posted the exact pm I sent him in open forum.  Ill post it here in a few.

Mistercoin, as I said, he sent coins to try to double.  I lost.  I offerered to send him some back should i win in the future. He wanted to extort me about it, and I STILL offered. He posted hos feedback, end of story.   Itried to resolve it.He DoD what he felt was right. I did what I felt was right.  Ill try to get the owner of doubledownbtc to send me a playing history of my account when mistercoin sent btc. He sent it directly into my ddbtc account and it was lost. Ill pm him for that info.

Thanks for replying damnsammit.  You came off a lot more mature, and sorry if I sounded like a dick.  I don't want to see anyone lose out either.

5.  All these people making accusations with absolutly no proof is ridiculous. I understand being cautios.  But to blatently accuse someone of something with zero proof, that's low. Get real.

First off, I didn't accuse you.  I just said you seem sketchy in a sarcastic way.  You might be honest.   I have no personal dealings with you and I don't have any negative feelings towards you.  Like others in this subsection, I want to warn people of potential scammers.  I think you are a risk because of the fact that you have negative feedback and are referencing positive things that don't exist in your feedback.

Is there a reason you have an issue with me?  I've backed everything I have have stated with facts. I'm not some 19 year old punk kid like 80% of the people here. I am a grown ass man with a family.  When you can figure out how the real world works, and don't make baseless accusations, then we can talk damnsammit.  If you think you have some sort of proof that the user I loan from is me, please tell me, and lets get that proven wrong somehow. Until then, do not accuse me of bogus crap.  You want to advise against a loan, back it up.please.

Again, no issue with you.  I am not arguing your facts except you have only backed them up with your text.  No one elses word or links to successful loans in the past.  I have no doubt that you are a grown ass man with a family and I am sorry if I came off as offensive.  I just don't want to see anyone get scammed on this forum whether it is for $1 or $10 or $1000.  I don't claim, nor have I claimed to have "some sort of proof" that you are fraudulent.

I do realize now that my previous post* was pretty rude, but I think you need to confront those that gave you negative feedback.  It might not be the right thing, but I always look at someone's trust rating and references before considering them for a trade or loan.  Cbhelp, you seem like a good guy and I hope that you are, but you have to realize this is the internet where nothing is what it seems and several people are going to be skeptical!  Keep calm and move on... or whatever the fuck that phrase is! Tongue

*" OP, if you want to get scammed, I highly suggest you take a loan from the above person.  He doesn't seem sketchy at all!   "

1.  Mistercoin wanted me to try to double his btc, after untold him I was winning on doubkedownbtc, because they have some of their bj rules way in favor of the players. We lost, he tried to blackmail me into giving him some btc.  I even offered to throw him some btc back out of pockets, even though it was a gamble, and I owe the man jack shit.  He ruined that by posting retarded neg rep.  Not my issue.

2.  Kouye made a comment because I posted on loan thread. Surprise. Its kouye, the super troll.

3.  The guy I borrow from is naphto.  And its not an alternate account ass.  I love when I read through these, people always have something to say.  You say its obvious and to try harder. It must not be too obvious, I'm being as transparent as possible.  The guys loans me, I repay. Its pretty simple.

4.  I do have positive feedback. Didn't see the cheap amazon card I bought?  Ill ask naphto to post feedback also.

5.  All these people making accusations with absolutly no proof is ridiculous. I understand being cautios.  But to blatently accuse someone of something with zero proof, that's low. Get real.

How do I seem sketchy?  Why don't you ask the user I take a loan from each day?

Why don't you look at my past dealings?

Why don't you look where I try to help out that charity that seansoutpost runs.

mistercoin 0: -0 / +0(0)   2013-09-22   0.50000000      This person "Claimed" he could 100% exploit a betting site and not lose the 0.5..he comes back and said he lost...classic. Beware!
Kouye 0: -0 / +3(3)   2013-09-15   0.00000000   Reference   Newbie to Loan sub, escaping out with a "I'm good, don't need this anymore!" (Delete)

Yet no positive feedback.  Who is this daily loaner... I mean your other account?

Sorry bro, you gotta try harder.

I'm applying, and have some words real quick.

1.  Kouye accuses everyone of being a scammer. He accused me, and after I sent him proof and posted in a thread, he didn't say shit. Left feedback for nothing.  He might mean well, but he's an arogant asshole in my opinion. Even after his shit, I Stoll respect him for trying to help. Its done in the wrong way though I think.

2.  I took an initial loan from naphtofor .1 btc, repaid .12.
Btc.  I took the loan so I didn't have to buy coins from btcquick, since I gamble on sports on bookmaker, and decided to gamble with a few btc books now also on the side.  I took the loan with the stipulation if I made money, I'd repay from that.  If I lost, I'd buy from btcquick and repay still.  I repaid.

3. I have since taken out 2 loans from him, same idea, but these were for .25, repayment of .3btc.  Repaid one, and took another out this morning.  I lost the one yesterday, so I bought from btcquick and paid it off.  If I lose tonight, I'm buying and repaying in the morning as always.  I'm sure he will vouch for me, and we can find transaction ids also if needed.

4.  Am I doing a great thing in doing these loans?  To most, probably not.  To me, I think I am.  If I win I can bank my profit and repay the loan and don't have to buy any btc.  If I lose, I buy what I would have bought anyways.  Essentially, I am paying a small interest rate for the opportunity to free roll a few games each day.

I am applying for a loan from op here for same terms, but looking for a smaller interest rate.  I pmed details of what I was lookingfor.  Just as in previous loans, iif I lost, I will buy from btcquick and repay that way.  I work full time, its not an issue.  I haven't asked naphto if he would be interested in a longer term loan (3-4 days) at a lower interest rate.  I will before I take a new loan.

Looking for 1btc loan repayment 1.2 btc, four days from loan date.  Probly repay early win or lose.

I'm on my phone, posting links is kind of difficult.  If needed, contact me or naphto.  Can provide repayment trans ids in morning when I am at a pc if needed.

Asking for 20% interest in a week means you're sure to only get scammers.  Just go to coinlenders or whatever.

Not necessarily.  I paid 15% last week out of shear laziness to hook back up my mining rig and get the money out of my wallet Cheesy

No it's really not. I'm just sick of arrogant pricks that live in their Mom's basement and think they are cool because they're using their parents electricity to mine bitcoins.

Who are you talking about?

Okay, I'm over it now.

Can we please get back onto topic? Still accepting applications. If Kouye wants a loan his interest rate will be double.

You should think twice before you claim people are scamming.

You did the same to me, assuming things that aren't true.

"Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from troubles."

I agree.
And I still think you're here to scam. That's my opinion, even though it might be worthless. Wink

And I think you're here to troll. Your opinion looks like you are just following someone else, who I will leave unnamed, without looking into it yourself.

You can look over at your red trust to the left, every time you would like to be reminded of what happens when you think your opinion is more important than facts.

Thanks for giving everyone attempting to get a loan from me a FREE PASS at scamming me, jackass. Now they will get a loan and just default on it because you've hijacked the thread and tried to discredit my reputation when in fact my reputation is impossible to discredit because I'm not even asking for a security. Grow the fuck up and learn to read.

Wow. Why so angry? It's not that important that you publicly loan money to someone else. Or... is it?

You know the whole subject with this thread has been hijacked.

I simply just stated that I would not NEED A COLLATERAL to give out a loan. How could I be scamming?

Do you think that making blind unmerited accusations gives you some kind of authority? Anyone in their right mind would understand that the loan I'm offering is "scam-proof". The only party at RISK is me. Obviously this is beyond your mental capacity and you have a hard time grasping this knowledge.

Now let me move to my 2nd point here after ruining my thread and my loan application. You have came out and disregarded me as stating that I am a possible scammer. You think by saying that it increases your e-peen or something around these forums because obviously you think it does because there is in no way that I can scam anyone because I'm not even asking for security for the loan at this point. You have came and destroyed all hopes that I had of giving a successful high risk loan, you've thrown rocks and now people will easily be able to scam me because you have sit here and made a fool of yourself and hijacked my thread and attempted to belittle my reputation.

** In regards to the collateral: I created my loan thread and after creating it I did the smart thing to read the stickies. Every sticky I read said for me to ask a collateral, so what did I do? I asked for a collateral for high risk borrowers, lol. People are on their toes around here Wink Like I said, I'm not a veteran in this market or do I dare claim to be, I'm still learning.

FYI, I wasn't trying to be rude to you.  I'm just saying there are other people offering 0% interest loans for secured loans.  So I think most people would take that over your offer if they have the collateral.

Tomato since you do not trust my validity please give me a BTC address that I can send you 0.01 to that way I can verify my account. I'm not quite sure my wallet supports signing transactions as you are talking about.

Wow, you really don't have a clue about bitcoins, and suck at google, apparently.
He was asking for a message, signed with the private key of the address you claim to be the owner of.

Lurk more before trying to scam, please.

Please be slow to pass judgement my friend. Wait for all of the facts to come in and if you have accusations I would appreciate you to take it up privately with me =). I have been verified to have bitcoins as I had STATED in my original thread by the gentleman above.

Yes, I am not a bitcoin guru but I assure you I understand the basic principles of loaning. I would further ask for you to redact your statement and read my posts and the whole thread now that it has been correctly updated.

When you post out out of quick haste and judgement my friend you only tend to make yourself look like a fool. Please gather the facts and understand the situation around you before embarrassing yourself again =) Your double digit post count and whatever avatar you uploaded does not give you any status anywhere and when it comes to bitcoins I can assure you that my accounts have handled and hold quite more than yours even if I "suck at google" and "clueless about bitcoins".

** As for tomato, I do appreciate your philosophy on lending vs gambling. I'm happy to be educated by the veterans and these analogies definitely help me understand the bitcoin lending scene much better.

Ok, confirmed that you do have a few BTC. But be careful about lending, especially if you're a new user. You'll most likely end up getting scammed. I'd suggest rolling the dice if you want to gamble with your money -- you stand a higher chance of winning by gambling than you do by lending.

Haha, so friendly in this section I see Wink

I just added the collateral term as in not looking for anything of more volume or truly high. If you don't feel like you need collateral, then please feel free to apply without it. I will remove the "collateral" mandatory listing from my post now and only ask for collateral for high risk borrowers.

I currently have quite a bit of bitcoins in the bank and I'm wanting to test the market with loaning.

Please sign the address that you hold "quite a bit of bitcoins" and post it here. I'll remove negative rating then, but in the meantime people should be extremely cautious as this seems to be a collateral scam. Ie. you send him collateral and that's the last you see of it.

Yeah no reason anyone would take a secured loan with such a high percentage rate from you, when they can use TC (a trusted member of the community) for a 0% secured loan.

If you want to loan without collateral then you are subjecting yourself to more risk, but then at least the high percentage rate would be understandable.

Good luck!
