They have almost always been good about refunds...I've only heard about delay when call/email volume was high.

I think the main thing people were sore about was that they only refunded the USD value, even when orders were paid for with bitcoin back when bitcoin was $5.  So they could have made millions just from taking orders last year and then refunding 'in full' this year.

Same here for my paypal order. Very nice and friendly staff. I won't be surprised if they go belly up once the difficulty rises and there are x10 refund request. IMO a lot of people are on the fence and if they don't receive a unit by August/September, they will want a refund.

Play2Live pre-sale starts on January 25th
I also requested a refund from them a few days ago and it was back in my Paypal account the next day. I think they have no choice with paypal/credit cards, but I don't know how they are handling people who did the transaction in BTC

My refund with BFL was equally painless, efficient and professional.

If only all parts of their business was as efficient as their refunds process.

IMO. I think its easy to say you made a good move. You're very lucky too, I think. BFL has a reputation of fucking with people.

I think it's much safer and better of an investment to buy a crapton of GPU's, because they can later be repurposed and sold for fairly good prices. Maybe even higher prices. (I bought a 7950 at 309 and now it's 350 on amazon. o_o)

I had placed an order for a 25Gh/s rig on April 4th, 2013 (order # 100033826) and finally got concerned about the ongoing delays and BFL's new approach of selling chips.

I logged into my account Sunday night and sent BFL a short email asking for my refund.  I just checked my PayPal account and the money was refunded on 6/3/2013.

Was it a mistake?  Time will only tell but I figured by the time my unit would ship we might be swimming in Avalon chips.

I'll keep my 7970's running and wait for my two FPGAs to arrive while I continue to watch KNC and await my Avalon chip order.

So, I'm very happy to report that BFL still has money for refunding and it was very quick.  Thanks BFL.
