Thanks for all the replies!

I tried updating to 0.5.19 and that showed my funds, finally.

Now quickly transfer this to MultibitHD and never use the classic version again  Tongue

Thanks again.

1.Do you mind sharing your address so we can confirm you actually have money in it ?

2.As recommended above try updating your wallet to 0.5.19.

Other suggestions which you could try even after updating if your balance is not shown.
-Make sure your computers clock is showing the correct time.
-Try resetting a couple of times more since reloading the blockchain takes time.I had the same issue I rest the Block chain and Transactions for about 5 times ,finally worked. And its advised to do it like 3 times at least.

At last, this your last option .Let me know if you're willing to use Electrum ,I will link you to a procedure to import the keys .

As a last resort you can attempt to "sweep the balance". This involves exporting your private keys without password protection into another wallet application and then using that application to send the entire balance back to MultiBit Classic using a fresh wallet.

We consider this a last resort because private keys stored without password protection should be considered compromised. Malicious code on your computer could steal or copy the keys and spend the balance.

If you decide that this must be done then make sure that you don't use the private keys (and their associated addresses) again. We don't advise deleting them, just mark them as "DO NOT USE" in the wallet with the problem. That way if someone does happen to send bitcoin to them you still have the private keys to sweep the funds into a safe wallet.

I assume you already tried this?

If that doesn't work you can still export your private keys to other wallets. I recommend to use electrum for faster process.

Also try what poptok1 suggested. 0.5.19 is still classic

Hi. Have you tried updating to 0.5.19? I'm sure thats the case.
Some minor network compatibility was fixed in .19 so downloading newer version
should help. Just download from official source and paste your wallet where necessary.

I got a multibit classic wallet with some bitcoins in it (or rather: there should be some in them). They are only visible on the blockchain but multibit 0.5.18 says I don't have any bitcoins while my latest transaction was me receiving some?

I've been resetting it for the past 2 days taking about 40 minutes every time and it never helps. Multibit HD killed the option to import multibit classic wallets or private keys so they are useless.

What can I do to get my money? Is it just lost because some developers decided they stopped supporting a wallet function? I got a multibit.wallet file but I have no idea what program allows me to import that (except for multibit classic which says I have 0 bitcoins).

Edit: I see I posted this in the wrong subforum, can a mod move this?
