Stupid liar, you are not really buying Bitcoin instead you have just created a Eye catching thread to share your links in which we don't know what is that.

but talking about Buying bitcoin constantly?

and yeah that is one of the best strategy human can ever had because buying little by little will increase our holding without feeling deep in spending .

I think anyone who wants to make money through promotions will probably do anything just so people can pay attention to their works and promotions. The only problem with buying bitcoin constantly is that we might spend more than we need to spend which is problematic because you still need money to eat and live which might likely cause you to prematurely sell your bitcoin because you have to fill in your necessity.

It looks more like impulsive investing behavior than buying in my opinion. Acting without limits is never good, but in this case I think it's not bad at all since you are investing, what will be very good for your future. If you have spare money there is nothing wrong in buying bitcoin everyday, because if you don't use this money to buy btc, you are going to spend it in other ways that probably won't return you the same benefits bitcoin can give you.
It's not everyone who can afford buying bitcoins in a daily basis, so you should be proud of being capable of doing this and enjoy the opportunity. Just try to do it consciously and not merely impulsively, because it can affect another areas of your life negatively.

it is more about lust.  from now on familiarize yourself when buying btc using analysis first.  Isn't the purpose of you buying BTC to make a profit?  so I'm just worried if you buy without analysis you buy when the price is heading for a correction.  isn't that very painful?  because my assets get  loss more than 50%.  all because of BTC  Undecided
Not actually lust but rather your interest with Bitcoin even though it turns out that you do make out buy without considering on what price you had entered but if OP doesnt actually care on the price he had set in then i dont see anything wrong with these buys.As long he's aware with the risk then that what surely counts.

If he cant just avoid to buy then its up to him and for sure he would really be going for long term or would changed up his mind later on and he might be refraining on buying too much and consider on getting to lower prices if he do aim for money or profit.

It depends on the target because some would really be going for more future years to come before making out any sell. Some would consider on going for short term and buying out uncontrollably. Its still a matter of someones choice.

It depends though if you are buying during dip then I suggest you should continue but be mindful of your investment you might not to sell it when the price is below to what you have spent it. There's nothing wrong with impulsive buying but you should also know when to sell if you want some profit but if you are here just collecting Bitcoin, that's not a problem, everyone wanted to do it but they can't.
Although, some are using Bitcoin on their daily lives as if it's a normal fiat currency but this shouldn't be a problem.

The great dreaded death cross was given, some bears are hoping that the price can go down to even $ 20k, but the bulls are supporting the price at $ 31k, some are very afraid, they are already selling because they think the price it will continue to fall, now this is the analysis by cointelegraph:

Quote
If the price rebounds off $31,000, the BTC/USDT pair will attempt to rise to $42,451.67. This could keep the pair range-bound between these two levels for a few more days.

On the upside, the rally is likely to face resistance at the 50-day simple moving average ($41,904). If the pair turns down from this resistance, the bears will again try to sink the price below $31,000.
Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/price-analysis-6-21-btc-eth-bnb-ada-xrp-doge-dot-uni-bch-ltc

It is very difficult to actually predict prices due to the high uncertainty, I think that the best thing for those who have BTC is to stay in HODL mode and for those who can continue to buy in the dip is the smartest thing to do.

This guy's situation is quite similar to the case of women's shopping frenzy

I recognise that, especially men appreciate a bargain and hence since BTC was previously much more expensive then it must be a good buy now.    I would emphasize the regularity and duration to buying, unlike clothes this is a fungible asset which gives it liquidity and a premium as highly tradable.   Its no good to be buying at 40k in some frenzy but not also buying now and also next month and so on.    It will get quite hard to keep buying with optimism, this is what markets do they wear out people till they give up and then its very close to the bottom price usually presuming the underlying situation has not altered greatly which is the case afaik.
Never overbuy, if you have bills to pay within the next year with the money being spent now then dont spend it; it can take that long as BTC somehow is both the tortoise and the hare.  Come back when free and clear because its almost like the job of the market to test the strength of peoples resolve, leverage and borrowed money is the first casualty.

I think that the crypto conglomerate can be reduced to the general thinking of some investors, it has been determined that many decisions can be made to have more money, at least so many investors think, in this case a survey affirms that BTC shines even though there was a big drop, confidence increases much more as time goes by:

Bitcoin investors more bullish than ever despite 50% price crash: Survey

Quote
Many coins have since recovered significantly, although the market still remains uncertain. Despite this, 87% of the survey’s respondents said they plan to increase their crypto holdings over the next quarter — an increase on the 80% who said the same in Q1.

Some 39% of respondents said they expected the Bitcoin price to have fallen between $56,000 and $70,000 by the end of Q3 2021, while 28% predicted a Bitcoin price between $41,000 and $55,000. The percentage of respondents who believed Bitcoin would reach a price of $71,000 stood at 18%, down from the previous survey’s figure of 20%
Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-investors-more-bullish-than-ever-despite-50-price-crash-survey

Here it is noted that the Elon Musk effect was only for weak hands and that Elon Musk will no longer have a determining impact on the Bitcoin market.

are you sure you can't stop buying?, even though in this situation you should have done an analysis first,
don't just buy without knowing the information from analysts, hmm, do you follow FOMO? and always buy without doing analysis?,
it would be a pity if that happened
This guy's situation is quite similar to the case of women's shopping frenzy, sometimes analytical parameters will be ignored and not heard, they only hear what the heart and emotions are saying, conformity and precision to the standard are no longer their style. Addiction and buying without such initiative will have two cases, their instincts and estimates will match or the error is too large in the product will make them lose, this situation can sometimes be emotionally refreshing and pleasant but continuously with such intensity, some big loss will need to be compensated is very tiring

What's wrong here? As long as you are investing money that you can afford to lose, the there is nothing wrong with buying. Keep buying! You won't regret on the long run. Just don't sell when the market is crashing.
The problem is that people will panic when the market starts crashing and probably they will be selling at a loss. If you have a long plan then it is good to wait for the market to go down and then invest for the long term rather than investing when the market is rallying and if you are planning to make a decent profit it is the best solution and the risk is lower, in short just be smart when to invest.
I think the reason why the person you are quoting above does not see anything wrong is because this is already a great entry point, I have always thought that buying during an all time high is simply a bad idea since you are risking the price goes against you and then you face huge losses, but right now the correction already happened and I doubt we are going to see another correction of the same magnitude so this is the perfect moment to enter the market for a good price.

You know already that being addicted on buying btc is not wise, because we dont know if btc will pump or dump after buying it.Thats the reason why some people loss a huge amount of capital specially to those who are not willing to wait for the very best time to sell buying in dip is so easy but waiting for the right time to sell is hard.

It's a loss for those who can't wait and hold, but for people who knows and understand how things works inside this market buying and hold still

possible to gain profits, timing or it's a matter of how you trust your instinct in investing to any form of assets.

Keep doing your best in analyzing your investment, if you think that you have the right pattern then it won't do harm to your case, it's your money
and no one should care more aside from you.

Just make sure you are ready for all outcomes, the reason market reverses to such a large extent (which gives us bargain pricing comparatively tbh) is overwound expectations.  Then we have to spend weeks months or even years after 2017 till a faithful few get their nominal return, if you have patience you should be ok but quite a few maybe myself even can be changeable and decide to trade out at a lower price.   I'd definitely agree with scaling in over time, like as much as 12 months is totally reasonable.   You wont lose out running a marathon not a sprint, from everything Im observed BTC is amazingly gifted with longevity that almost no one presumed there and they keep doubting it now.   So long as the idea of BTC is a usable protocol accumulating in use for larger parts of the world which I think is quite feasible for years then price will follow.
In short dont over do it, totally avoid leaning into a buy with money you cant leave here..

You need to stop buying or you will end up like lossing. Buying is need to be done during dip only but if you are addicted on it you will maybe buy even price is high and risky, you need to control your self and make a proper or prudent decision to avoid loss.
The market is currently recovering and I think it doesn't matter if one is addicted to buying now for long term investments, I hope you will get multiple profits when the market goes up in the future.

To save yourself from fees, you can do it monthly and that’s a good strategy for your long term goal because Bitcoin will rise again and since you are buying on a averaging method, you can have more profit. Buying bitcoin is always a good decision for me, you’re addict in a good way so don’t worry that much.

Forget about your coins and come back after a decade or so.

yes i always refer and suggest this type of investment that is to invest those money which is spare because it will be a big injustice if someone invest the money that is for their daily life because nobody knows about the luck and the bad and good timings although exceptional people are there but one should not risk that much to invest whole of their money including the money for their basic needs.

be wise in investing in cryptocurrencies, my advice is to use cold money to invest, don't let you put all your money in bitcoin later on but have trouble when the market crash.
investing in bitcoin is very good for the long term but the risk of market volatility is also large so if you invest prepare carefully so that your investment portion is good.
and most importantly don't be greedy.
People should always take precaution because not all everything to be seem profitable would really work most of the time.Bitcoin might be showing off some good run but doesnt mean that it would guarantee a good future for those who had invested. Its always been a good idea on investing on the amount that you can only afford to lose and dont risk out your life savings on it and always consider the risk that market could crash from time to time and if you do rely nor think that you can make profits directly so better think twice because this isnt how the market work. Buy if you can but be careful on what you are doing.

First thing before you start your investment, make sure that you are using money that you can let go, or smount of money that you can hold for longer time frame, going long to this market was proven to be an effective way to invest and maximized your profits.

be wise in investing in cryptocurrencies, my advice is to use cold money to invest, don't let you put all your money in bitcoin later on but have trouble when the market crash.

Have a better overview from this market that you'l going to work with, there are many opportunities as long as you have the right mindset,
most of the time, those long term investors enjoy the huge benefits the market brings.

There is no such thing as an addiction to buying anything, not even Bitcoin. True, there are compulsive buyers, but that does not mean they are addicted. A person buys what their financing options allow.
No big deal.

I will have to disagree with you here, obviously someone that is buying bitcoin or anything else within his means cannot be said to be addicted but we must remember that there are many people that use credit cards and loans or even steal to buy what they want and at that moment I think it is fair to say they are addicted since they are engaging in a behavior that is destroying their lives and their future which are clear signs that someone is addicted.

This habit of yours can make you very rich one day, if I have the means I'm definitely going to do the same, the easiest way to make money in just a short period of time is to buy Bitcoin and HODL, just be sure that you really have the means and you are ready to take the risk the market is going down but if you understand the risk you are good to go.

I wouldn't like to give you an advice like "You should continue to do so." or "You shouldn't.". It is your money and your choice as well. I don't see any bad in buying normally. But it is better to follow the market closely and make your moves according to it.

That's a wise idea same as mine, and don't you worry about what future it may take as time goes on and on. Think about the potential of your little investment once price come for another ATH, she keep on saving what is meant to be saved. We should take advantage of the bear market for a meanwhile, because one day it will benefit us for our financial assurance.

Yes, you should stop buying Bitcoin, the right time to buy is when the market is dump and the time to sell this is what you set. You should set a target to sell, it is not wise to buy every day. You have to understand the nature of this volatile market well so as not to lose your money. You have to buy bitcoins with money that you don't need in your daily life.
Momentum when buying is also very important, because buying bitcoins means you are investing and spending your money. You definitely want your investment to get the maximum profit, right? so waiting for the right time, for example during a dip or bear market then buying it is the time you have to prepare, so you don't have to buy it every time you have money

If you feel enough you can stop or maybe wait for longer interval. I mean, decide to buy every how many times price get down from your last price to bought. It is like interval $5000 you buy or maybr $2000 -$3000. Because if we can't control ourself (addicted means we can't control what we want anymore) sometimes can be boomerang which can cause our loss if something bad happen to bitcoin.

You don't have to buy bitcoins every day, but you can deposit your money in crypto to buy them at the right time, the market has been very low and the safest position now is to keep assets in stable coins then buy them when they are cheaper than the current price.

Up to you, if you think it won't affect your current financial needs and only use your extra money to buy Bitcoin then I think it is a good move but If it affects you into using the budget intended for your daily needs and monthly bills then it is not healthy.  Savings Bitcoin for future profit is a good thing but sacrificing your daily and monthly budget for it is not.  So I can say is to balance your budget allocation, that way you can continue to accumulate fractions of Bitcoin while not affecting your other budgets.

May luck always be with you if you have such a habit, because it is like playing with risk, but it can still be faced with various things that can be learned from time to time, if you really like bitcoin.. of course you can understand a lot of things and manage what you do.
Loving bitcoin doesn't mean dissolved without knowledge, especially in terms of investing.
OP doesn't need luck, what OP need is patience to be able to hodl for long because I am pretty sure that panic will definitely set when OP is buying bitcoin everyday and the prices go down.
if you buy gradually I think it's okay, as long as you buy it while you are at support,
use 25% for every drop at support and you will be safe, if it's still bullish buying gradually will have a good profit level,
but if the market is bearish advice I discard this strategy and do a cut lose, if not then you will regret it, for now watch first, don't be in a hurry for buy

~snip~

You are actually walking on the unknown way .I think you always need to have a mind set where you wanna buy and where you wanna sell that .Without having this knowledge you can loose huge amount when market starting to get down .So i think you should need to stop buying daily and set a rate where you wanna buy and where you wanna sell .Hope you can get a huge return.

Make sense, but what If the OP is aiming for a long term ROI?
He might experience a long bearish period but won't lost anything as long as he doesn't sell any.
Though he might've lost some when he bought at the peak, but then again he won't lost any if he don't sell any, because Bitcoin so far is ascending ever since.

Now, what he needs to learn is when to have a good entry point. Investment wise, he could save his money to bulk buy during the dip rather than buying everyday.
So, yeah I agree that he needs to set himself a specific price range when to buy.

Buying on a dip is a good thing but it is up to you if really want to buy all of your money with Bitcoin, but if you are addicted to just buying bitcoin I think there is still a negative impact for example the cycle have shifted in a bull run do you still consider still buying bitcoin or this time selling it now, if you're addicted in only buying Bitcoin and you don't have control over it then you are really addicted, then consult a specialist, but if you can control yourself in what you are doing, then you are not addicted I think you might just enjoy the bear market that much that you are saying that you are addicted to it,

And don't seek advice on what to do with your own money we are not a financial adviser you can surely do whatever you want with it, I think you know what to do in buying it.

if you have a lot of unused money of course there is no harm in investing the money in the form of btc now, especially now the price of btc is experiencing a decline, so that when the price of btc rises of course it will cause estimated your money  also increase, but if you have money that is right for the family, of course it's better for you to think again to continue to buy bitcoin every day,  because after all we should take care of our family's finances as best we can and we don't know when the situation is urgent for us to spend money quickly.

Always keep some extra funds with you in your bank account in case you need them in emergency as btc is not mainstream and not accepted by all so you need to hold fiat or funds in your bank account.Putting all your funds like CZ can be risky for you as if it is down you might feel panicked and sell off at low prices also. You can cash out your profits at small intervals and carry on with investment later on.Rest your funds your choice.

It's not too wise asking others what to do with your money and posting it in the wrong place on the forum in your first post.

I hope you have cash left over to buy food, at least. If you buy Bitcoin compulsively but have your basic needs covered, it's OK.
I do not really know if the OP is being serious or if he is just exaggerating, buying bitcoin now when it is roughly at a 50% discount is obviously a good move so that is great for him but as we know doing any activity in a compulsive ways is never healthy and yes this even includes buying bitcoin, after all as you say someone that is truly addicted to buying bitcoin will buy it above other needs like buying food or paying their bills, but as long as this is not the case then I do not think we can actually say someone is compulsively buying bitcoin.

Correct, you need to work with your targets, setting your plans and make sure to understand how the market works,

buying without any target will lead you to lose your money, not unless you are into long-term and you don't have any

emergency, if the money is all spare and nothing to use in immediate time.

It is good if you still buy bitcoin, especially if you can buy at a low price. But you should remember that bitcoin can drop anytime, so I suggest you hold some money to buy bitcoin later at the lowest price. I am afraid that if you continue buying bitcoin at the current price, you will not have an opportunity to buy it at a drops price. So you need to hold yourself to buy and it is better to spread your order buy at many lowest prices. But do not forget to sell some bitcoin once the price starts increasing so you can get your money back.

somehow it's good. keep investing. it will not be good if it does affect your life already. BTC is good. don't go spending on altcoins for now.

it is best if you try selling as well especially if it hits the peak and then maybe buy again when it. this is how you learn to trade. seeing how you can afford to buy while the economy is bad. some people have to give up something before they could allocate funds for investing. good luck.

You can keep buying BTC, but remember, you must buy it wisely and smartly. Loving BTC doesn't mean always buying BTC always. It means how we can control our fund managers to buy and sell Bitcoin. Whether it is for holding or trading, it is no need to panic buy or sell BTC. Buy wisely and smartly, so there will be no regret at all in the future. Although if you are doing it with your own deep awareness, be sure that you have been ready for all risks that you may face in the future. But I hope that you can reach your own target.
You're just tolerating the behavior, didn't you read that OP is feeling like he/she is addicted to buying bitcoin? I don't think that buying bitcoin wisely will be enough to counteract the impulse to buy. I think that if OP can help it, try stopping yourself from purchasing bitcoin, make the purchase skip a day for two weeks and then skip for 2 days for another 2 weeks and slowly try to go up from that, create a different habit to slowly kill the existing habit.

if you buying partial and still have a enough money and used it for long term investment , i think you will rewarded with huge gains some day. bitcoin or cryptocurrency actually one of investment portofolio that  give us huge return than other assets. but it really have risk than other too if we could not managed well.

The problem on this person scenario was he is using all his money to buy Bitcoin which is very risky and not ideal unless he has emergency fund to cover other expenses in case Bitcoin price is low when the time comes he needs money. I believe proper DCA is more appropriate rather than compulsive buying regardless on what asset he is buying.

Whether it's wise or not depends on your financial condition since we have no clue how is your condition then it's you who knows it better but
what's the difference is there accumulating bitcoin day by day from a little by little to saving in bank except you get more ROI in the long term.
I personally think it's wise, you are investing here and not being rather consumtive like most of people are and if you are addicted to accumulating
bitcoin then it could be said that you're addicted to saving money which most of normies gonna say as a wise decision.

I would tag this a positive addiction because it's more of an investment but I would rather suggest you also invest in other good projects so you don't get stucked during the dip sessions. Bitcoin has proven over time to be a wise form of securing the future without much hard work but most times one can't really predict what happens next so instead of investing all you can also consider some good altcoin as well

Nope, don't. If you're a guy who likes saving money, then keep doing what you're doing and do NOT get tempted to diversify into "projects" aka shitcoins and scams. Altcoins just not as predictable as Bitcoin, far far away.

Put away and build up your hoard, stack your sats, whatever it is. That's definitely a positive addiction but just as long as you don't end up being that guy who keeps everything til he dies and someone else inherits it;)

You're not wise if you don't have a purpose for it. If you feel that you have a goal, then pursue it. however, for now, the price is indeed still low enough to stock bitcoin. unfortunately, it will all be in vain if all you do is buy but have no purpose for it.
If you do buy then for sure then you do really have some goal because its just impossible for someone to buy up something if you don't have any plans or goals in mind.

If you cant stop buying then be sure that you aren't buying carelessly or without any basis or without any plans because you wont find out on what you are up to.

Just mind that you don't compromising too much money on buying because there are people who do just simply jump in just because they had been hyped.

Just don't spend all the money that you have on it and you are good to go, remember to take care of yourself first because you will probably have no use of bitcoin if you died of starvation or anything that might cause you to die because of your neglect for daily needs.
haha that's right, if you are a fan of Bitcoin, that's normal, because in this pandemic situation many people start new things,
and try to get in and get to know crypto currency, when they have felt a lot of profit, I'm sure they will be fans of bitcoin,
and it's natural if he always buys it, because he thinks bitcoin will continue to rise
Interestingly people who are veterans of crypto also went into new things as well. There were a lot of new people in crypto that started to buy stuff like bitcoin, etheruem, bnb, and obviously doge which was the news all over, however we are forgetting that there were tons of veterans that has been here for years and they did new stuff as well.

They went to stuff like defi, nft, swaps and even mining as well because at some point it was like 4 month ROI if you could find market price for those GPU's but the prices went up like crazy on second hand. So basically it wasn't just the new people, even the old people went crazy with it, and there were so many things to do. During pandemic buying a ton of GPU and building a mining farm with it did sound like a crazy good business and something to both profit but also have fun with so you do not get mad.

Summers are always bad for crypto, I am assuming people are taking out their profits and having fun with it during the summer, let's face it I do not care if your favorite season is winter or whatever but the reality is that people are outside a lot more often during summer and inside a lot more during winter, if the weather is nice and there is sun outside it is a great reason to be outside. Which means people spend more money during summer and less money during winter. That means if people want to cash out something what do you think will be the first one? It will be bitcoin and they just cash out their great profits they made this year and spending that for vacations and so forth to have fun.

I have one vacation (hopefully" this year as well, I saved up some money but unfortunately because of pandemic the prices are sky high so I will instead go to my parents summer house instead, it is still vacation type deal because sea is close so I can swim, but basically I am just at home with my wife instead of a hotel.

Maybe you can set a price range to buy bitcoin because the bitcoin price can go lower than the price you bought. For example, you already bought bitcoin at $37,500. You can buy bitcoin again when the bitcoin price down at $36,500-$37,250 and others. But that is only a suggestion and you do not have to follow that if you think that you feel not right.

So you can have more money to buy bitcoin just in case if bitcoin price is down deep. But that will be up to you because that is your money, and only you will know.

Good addiction you don't think about the risks that have happened so far even buying bitcoins every day? now how much has been collected? maybe your dream can be a millionaire if you can hold on longer.

I won't say stop buying bitcoin, in fact there are still many who earn from bitcoin if this has become part of your addiction, you just have to manage everything you have, remember that bitcoin will not lose unless there is a big dump, if it stays long HODL you can find the real dream.
In fact I like that you buy bitcoins every day with the available cash.

I think that for now it is the best strategy for those who have the money, although buying in the dip is more valuable than the same gold, in this technical analysis they predict that it may fall a little more, which is ideal for the purchase of BTC:

Quote
While BTC has been finding higher support levels in the process, a symmetrical triangle breakout was most likely going to tip in favor of the bears as the preceding trend was bearish. Moving forward, BTC must find support between $28,000 and $30,000 as a breakdown could trigger a more cascading sell-off. A fall towards $20,000 could become a reality in such a situation.
Source: https://ambcrypto.com/bitcoin-solana-matic-price-analysis-08-june/

If this happens, I think you can buy a lot more BTC, which if when BTC rises to at least $ 50k the gains will be monumental.

What's your reason for doing it?
What's your goal?
If you think that you're being addicted to it and it is affecting your life in a negative way then stop it.
Have some time off and think about it thoroughly you should have a plan or goal on your investment.
I know how it feels when you are watching your investment grow you wanted to invest more for bigger profit,
But you should also be aware of the risk and set up your goal not just buying it.
He wont really make any action if he wont really have any goal towards on the BTC that he do bought and also not all would have the capacity to do so.

If he do have the money then i can say that this kind of addiction is way more better compared to any forms of addiction out there on where you do spend out money instead of saving or making some investment.

As long you dont compromise your budget then i dont see anything wrong with this.

In the past, when the price of bitcoin was at its peak, many people regretted not investing. Well, now's your chance! The bitcoin price is still fluctuates unpredictably, but one thing's for sure – your money will go a lot further if you invest it now.

In spite of the short-term pessimism surrounding bitcoin, in the long term, the crypto market has a chance to reshape many financial systems. Investors and traders should consider investing in crypto now that prices are low and they're able to buy low and sell high. The potential upside of investing in bitcoin is too high to ignore.

However, we know that one's risk appetite should never exceed his financial ability. You should strive to meet your financial goals and it is better to live below your means and live a happy life than spend beyond your means and spend your life financially deprived. It is important to remember that you can work more hours, even at night if it is important to meet your goals, but in the end, you need to be able to spend less than you earn in order to be happy.

As I have said before: There is no such thing as a sound investment strategy that ensures that you will never lose money, and very few 'fundamentals' that guarantee that you will make the right decision regarding your investments.

According to the report, billion billion worth of BTC was accumulating on this dip by whales and this is not new. From my insight I can say, whales has pre-planned. I'm not whale but what I done enough to put a smile on my face. I'm still holding rather selling off as uptrend season wasn't over. I'm not out of the dip yet, yesterday bought more BTC and others coin. So, I guess i'm in it for the long haul. Bitcoin trade volume is still low, buy the dip if you have funds. Just a short time the the trade volume will rise again cause cryptos are the future.

No matter how high the price bitcoin is currently trading, it will never be said to be the worst time to buy it. You can buy bitcoin whenever you want and at any price if you want to collect bitcoin which will be prioritized as a long term investment and what you're doing now has been done by someone else before and it's like saving. You may notice that your invested capital every day decreases due to price fluctuation, but it can still increase if you are not tempted to sell it. Remember, in the long term bitcoin investment is more profitable than you make in the short term.

Whats wrong if Bitcoin means to solve our financial problem? I take  it positive.
Bitcoin is not a get-rich-quick scheme, but its price fluctuations (bullish trend) have provided great profit for those willing to invest in the long term. Bitcoin can be used to help with your financial problem, but only if you are good at using the market to make a profit.

It depends. If you have a large amount of cash lying unproductive out there, you can go on and on buying Bitcoin when the price goes low. But if you are already spending money which should be intended for something more important then I think you should stop it already.

You can buy more by the time you have another money which is considered an extra savings. Don't forget that Bitcoin's price is not always rising. Just make sure that by the time you have an urgent need, you have something to spend. Don't go all in with Bitcoin.

If you have lots of spare then it's still good to go but if you just have enough to feed yourself and your family better to think more deeper before spending more money into investing with bitcoin.

Keep in mind that money is always important, those who don't have enough reserves they are prone of losing when dip go further.

Balance everything and in the end you'll gain the benefits.

Exactly! There's always the need to balance everything. If you go with Bitcoin, always think of the long term. If you buy Bitcoin for quick profit, you might be caught in a correction or severe dip like now. If a need for money arise, you might be forced to sell at a loss or take a loan from someone or from a bank and since you'd be paying a higher amount, you are already losing due to investing all your money in Bitcoin. It is good to be practical.
That's why I do always buy. Historically June, July is the month of dump, it may go down further more. However, I did not see dip below $31k and the resistance is strong. Regardless of where it's going now, just look at the long picture until you need cash. Whats wrong if Bitcoin means to solve our financial problem? I take  it positive.

stop buying bitcoin when the price starts to PUMP, and don't stop bitcoin if the price is DUMP,
because the philosophy of buy when DUMP and sell when PUMP is a good philosophy, if you understand technical analysis,
of course you will survive a bearish storm, if you can't do the trading rules, then you will always lose and lose

it's wise if you buy around the dip, you're basically investing anyway and there's many institutional investors that do the same.

but imagine if you had done such thing since years ago, you might have made some big chunk of profit right now, guess what, bitcoin isn't going anywhere despite the dump and could get back up to its previous ATH.
just hold on a little bit longer your wallet will thank you later for making it fat with those stacks of green colored paper, though that's if you cash your btc out which most of bagholders not gonna do until their investment becomes life changing.

Depends on how much money you spend on Bitcoin and how much money you have in general. If you are spending life time saving that then you are risky guy and I would consider you having a talk with a pro trader or investor. If you are in debts and keep spending money for food on Bitcoin, or there are people who you should care, I would suggest to slow down. Just make a habit of buying 10$ worth Bitcoin everyday and write down each purchase in the table with exchange rate. That will keep you busy, disciplined and save from doing rash decisions. If you are spending your pocket money on crypto or couple of dollars every day, then I see no problem in it.

It all depends on how much money you have. If you are not using money that you need, then go ahead and buy after all its your own money and nobody can tell you what to do. However if you are using money that you need for living, then you are doing something wrong and eventually you will be forced to sell your coins as well, when you do not have any money left and you need to buy food or pay the bills, what are you going to do?

The first thing you will be capable of doing will be selling your coins and paying your bills or buying food, so at the end of the day it all depends on what you invest. I personally do not invest what I need, that way whatever is leftover goes to bitcoin constantly, I do DCA as well which is sort of what you are doing, buy a small amount each day so that I do not go all-in from one price, and that is a good strategy as well.

all i can suggest is to stop buying when you see market isn't fine like for example on this current situation for sure if your keep buying without any technical analysis its like your throwing money into the trashcan. So always remember to follow the trend and read some news around the internet about the situation so that you're not wasting money when it comes buying bitcoin because instead you can earn from it seems you're dashing money to someone else without any return.

And also i don't think its addiction mate because no one literally do such things especially on this kind of way how to earn profits and mosty addiction can be found in a games such gambling..and to be honest this is my first time to see a enthusiast become addicted buying bitcoin for investment even despite the situation of the market is very skeptical because it keeps decreasing ... Maybe you're rich?

I think you not, you can't call yourself addicted because you know already how to manage yourself. Addiction can be different.

Anyway, if you still have the guts to put your money at risk, why not stop? Since you have started it already much better to continue doing. And besides, Bitcoin will remain profitable which is not a thing we have to worried about losing coz that only happens if we are dumb to panic and lose our minds.

Are you aware about how bitcoin works and its past history? Did you conduct a research? If you did, then you better know than anyone if you're doing the right thing.

IMO bitcoin is currently in dip so its wise to buy during this time. Just make sure that the money you use to buy is not meant for important things so even the price takes longer to bounce back, you can wait even it takes years.

Nevertheless dont buy because you just want to, have plan and strategy to follow.

Well as long as you have the money to buy bitcoin its ok. Because when bitcoin price goes high again you will surely gain more profits from it. Do not stop in buying bitcoin if this is your happiness, and its your own decision to do it, if you think that it is the right thing to do as long as you do not do bad to other people with your money.

I think as long you not use money that come from loan or maybe money that actually used to buy daily needs, it is good to do. Because if price keep down and people keep buy it, then ROI price can be lower than when we bought for first time. And when price bounced, we can get profit from all level of order.

That's right. There's nothing wrong buying btc as long as you know the possible repercussions also.
And also, it is better if it is your extra money and not your life's savings.
At least, if in case you need to cash out and it is not what you expect, it would not be too hard for you.
We have our own strategies on how to increase our portfolio, and for the OP, it is his one way of increasing his btc portfolio.

Also, if you will stop for few days, what you can do is assess your situation, financial especially.
What are your goals on why you are buying it in a frequent basis?
Is this for short-term or long-term? Can you afford this lifestyle?

Dollar cost averaging would be over a year as a starting point unless you are a trader.   You could think/focus,  not to stop buying but ensure you are involved long term not just buying into a fall before it has proven it will trend back into a rise.   We have all possibilities still ahead and some will say why wait and to spread over a year will involve buying into higher prices, the point is to reduce risk and allow yourself to buy into the positive trend not just a negative.
If nothing else to resolve prices takes time as well as the cheaper price being some incentive to buy like you are finding.   Time volume and price all factors imo, then consider the dollar itself has its own reasons.   Right now China and others put some negative into this space, it doesn't have to matter alone but the price has some weak hands and we must revise prices.  This is the work market must do to build a future trend and takes time.  Patience in your buying would be a virtue.

Would be better save and spend it only to buy bitcoin when market crash or on the dip. Buying it everyday won't get you to Dollar cost averaging (DCA), unless you have spare your money and can't think what should you do with these money

But that's OK, you have a plan. Like I said, you have to know when to invest.
This is the same with stocks and indices, it's a good way to do cost averaging and not to panic and dump your shares. And try not to worry too much about day-to-day market swings.

Cost averaging is always a good strategy.  In its entire history knowing what we know now I would say it's a perfect strategy.  No need to stop now if it goes down to $5k buying all the way down will bring your overall costs.  Then when orange coin pops again you will be sitting better than if you just stopped buying on the way down.

I have an addiction too, but it is an addiction to buying shares in different companies. You should be careful pouring all your money into Bitcoin because it is currently in a bear market and nobody really knows how far it will drop. If you're only doing it with "fun money" and disposal income then it may do you no harm, however a true investor will diversify their money to reduce the risk of catastrophic harm.  Some people go the whole nine yards - sticking money in everything from whiskey, jewelry, paintings, precious metals, bonds, stocks and property. You'll get varying rates of return from all these options, but they have a long legacy compared to the relatively short history of bitcoin. Just be careful with putting all your eggs in one basket as they saying goes.

Only you could answer this one since you are the ones whom do know on what financial state you do have.If you do have the money and doesn't compromise things when it comes to expenses or daily living then youre good but if you are already compromising your life savings then that would be an another story.
Im not saying buying bitcoin is bad but always consider about the risk because it isn't an assurance when it comes to future talks.
There would be always be a risk neither it would succeed or not so its better to be mindful about those possible risk could happen.

It is wise if you're buying at this time because bitcoin is dropping in price. But you know what's not wise? if you're compromising your other needs and you're buying bitcoin.

You need to balance your life status as you buy bitcoin. There's nothing wrong with buying it as long as you're still living comfortably and you can sustain your daily needs and you're not sacrificing your budget for it.

At this point, it's better to lay off the copium and the credit card/whatever source of money you have and distance yourself away from any bitcoin or cryptocurrency news. If you have the money to actually burn and don't care much about losing, go ahead and do it, but it's infinitely better to not spend on things that you might regret in the future. From the looks of it, bitcoin might be heading towards lower lows than it had in the past few months, and while it's good for your wallet and all in the long run, it might take a while before you are able to recoup the losses.

Spend wisely, even if you have lots of cash to spend.

It's not a good idea to have most of your net worth stored in Bitcoin, there's always a risk that something goes horribly wrong and Bitcoin loses a very large portion of its value. This risk might not be big in terms of probability, but it could ruin you.

Invest a moderate amount, and if Bitcoin goes to the moon relative to your investment, you will still make a good profit. No need to be greedy and try to go all in, no one has succeeded with this strategy in long term.

That is not wise you must buy your daily needs first beause you need to eat food dont buy so many bitcoins you be dead if you dont stop buying bitcoin buy food also to make your stomach full. You can buy bitcoin but oh need to decide the budget don't used all your money for bitcoin because there is no asurance that you can earn on it in a short period of time, sometimes you also need to wait before you can get profit.

first what is the reason of buying and what funds are you using. do the funds are excess money or this is what you need in daily living? because using  a regular funds will cause you damage if the price of bitcoin suddenly falls down badly and you need to cash out for emergency reason.
but if all of the funds are only for your extra income and not to be used in any chances for now, then you are doing really well investing little by little things that i also did back in the years.

Just stop buying. Regardless of how much you put it, it'll still do well.

Most of us long term holders only put about 5% in to start with, even with dcaing out its still 90%+ of my portfolio. (so up 180x since 2015).

It's not too wise asking others what to do with your money and posting it in the wrong place on the forum in your first post.

I hope you have cash left over to buy food, at least. If you buy Bitcoin compulsively but have your basic needs covered, it's OK.
