I do not think the problem lies in this site where the problem lies in the captcha of goolge or the country you are living in to counter the sudden increase in traffic they will do captcha to prevent you from doing the following ways to See if your captcha is stable. Please check your network connection then go to the wifi transmitter with your laptop or modem with your desktop computer how long have you not reset it if you are 1-2 months or more? Resetting it will reduce some of it. Wish success

Especially the "cars" one.  Seriously... has anyone EVER succeeded in getting that one right?  I swear that no matter what it says I got it wrong, even when I'm 100% certain that I've eliminated every picture with a car in it.  That's the one that really gets me.  The "signs" one also does it, but not always.

What ever happened to simply entering a series of numbers/letters to prove that you're not a bot?  Isn't that sufficient enough?  This method is a real PITA.  And more & more sites are using it these days I'm noticing.  I cringe every time I see it.

Glad I got that off my chest.  I've been wanting to say it now for a long time.
What is so annoying in clicking the pictures of cars of signages? It's not hard to do, and it is used as an additional security for our account. I didn't have a hard time with it.

everyone experienced that especially if you are new logging in to a new browser.
This doesn't make any sense at all.
I've seen it on other websites too and I'm always preparing for it with "Ok, THIS time I'll get it right"...it never happens  Huh Cheesy
You didn't bother to google "why"?
I mean captcha is good in keeping the security better but sometimes it malfunction.
I am shocked.
The problem about recaptcha is when you are newly signing up into a new site or you're using a new browser to access a site that you've been useing before, another problem is your internet server, if it's not strong enough, you can stock there for a full day.
Ok, what the...?
You told that why bitcoin talk don't use letter's or typing captch.Letters and typing captcha old version of captcha and recaptha is update tha's why they use recaptcha to verify Bot and Human
No, it is because it is harder for bots to bypass recaptcha.
In my experience of encoding captcha, its so difficult when the internet is not working well and also when come out the pictures that has no instruction but in general i can say that encoding of captcha is good.
?
As you know, the captcha is from Google.
There is something very simple to do to avoid this issue. Login into your Google Account before logging to any sites having the Google Captcha Security feature and you are good to go..
Give a try guys and let me know  Cheesy
How is that going to help? I am never logged in google account and I don't have problem with recaptcha because i have found solution.
You can find on the net there are websites that offer tools to surpass google images . But it is not free. You will have to pay $ 1 to activate your account
I see new topic coming - someone has hacked my wallet.

Blah. 35 posts about "this is for security" and "because of slow connection" and yet someone says "we" are spammers  Grin

OP -  listen. Clear google cookies and it will solve your problem. It is tested and working.

I understand the frustration but try logging  into your Google account before trying the Captcha. it will verify you (green mark) at a single try, without giving you those things to solve . Google owns the Captcha I guess.

That is the price of security, it is better than without a security. I am grateful for this forum that they have this captcha for safety reason. Much appreciated if there is 2FA. The internet connection is the main culprit for the malfunction of captcha and the other reason that I experienced is a pending captcha in the other tab of the browser that causes the error, maybe a memory full is the issue.

The security will come into play when your using your PC with other individuals, then you need to stay login, but in a situation where you have access to your PC alone is better you stay login because you will find yourself login in every min and than.

I never had problems with those captchas, trick is(IMHO) even if square doesnt have "CAR" in it, just look at corners, maybe some small part of it is there, and thats why you are missing it.. Little offtopic, wouldn't be better to include 2FA on site as well? Since that could be more better then captchas(again IMHO)

I agree, even a child can do that captcha but still can't be satisfied with the answer. It's a never ending pictures, and it annoys me. Sometimes it says they can't contact recaptcha due to some server error, does it makes sense?
Can't they just put a single picture, they make us look dumb, we're not a robot. Maybe there's an error with the javascript or with the server. I think so  Undecided

It’s a little annoying but doesn’t bother me all that much. If it helps the security of the site & out accounts then it’s a good thing I suppose.

Of course all sites are required to use captcha for a security in protecting the site from thieves, and keep the security really good for its users, I strongly support with the captcha ...

I can understand your problem. I think you might have come across this type of captchas mostly in faucet sites. The faucet owners  implement this captcha in  the faucet sites for additional security. Since faucet sites are dealing with cryptocurrencies, its always prone to bot attacks. Recaptcha has strong protection against bots.  That's why faucet owners implement this recaptcha in their sites.

I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I tend to get more captchas when I'm on Tor. I only need to go through one or two when I'm under a VPN, and sometimes none at all if I'm on neither.

We all feel you. But if you consider it a pain in the ass there are some who are doing captchas to earn some. Honestly I also tried it before. But I gave it up already because just like you I got short tempered and it started pissing me off. Plus the pay is very low and it's a waste of time. So, back to the topic. What adds to my burden is once I finished the first set of captcha here in btctalk instead of Verify, the button will say Next! So I have to solve another set. Can you imagine? Lol!

Good thing, there's an option of "always stay logged in."

Often times I find that the captcha lags somewhat when loading new pictures, and then even when there are definitely no more of 'cars' or whatever else it still says that it is a failure, i've realised now if it lags loading once you remove one image to just refresh the browser.

I feel this belong to the Meta section of the forum since its about the forum activities and log-in issues.

I dont know how you face issues with that particular one but since the beginning of the era of captcha, I have not had any issue with it and to there is always an option to skip anyone you feel you are not comfortable with with but at the same time you must fill it.

The captcha is really something that the forum administrator feels its neccessary at the point in time which is solely for the purpose of making the forum better at the time and if there is need to install additional security measures to make the forum safer, then its a welcome development. All we need to do is learn to adopt. Thats all.

I'm having that situation too then sometimes it annoys me because when it says you got it wrong I still need to wait 45seconds I think, to try again. So I did is I checked the "always login" so whether I will go to this site my account is automatically logged in. But, this is not recommended for those people who does not have personal computer in their house. So I would not suggest this to this people who is just borrowing or lending a pc just to log in here.

Lol I also get tired of solving captchas each time I sign in. I mostly get the cars captcha which is so annoying. Anyway there is a way you can overcome solving captchas every time ,which is simply to click the "Stay logged in" checkbox when signing in but do not do these on public PC s cause your accent might end up being hacked.

so true. but that's the security now to reduce the performance of the bot program. I am sure everyone is very upset with the system so. but how else should we do it for verification

That is true, its annoying indeed especially if you are in a hurry. Sometimes if your con connection is slow, its another problem. But I know its an added security, but I hope they can come up another idea.

I don't get what you guys are saying. Never really have any problem. It is just simple like clicking those cars or those signages then I'm good to go. If you clicked it all but still can't then maybe (like others said) you have a weak internet connection.

Especially those recaptcha when you click that picture vanishes then another one pops out and sometimes it takes a lot of time to click those cars when the new pictures are cars also. It would be nice if its replaced by those set of numbers and letters then you just have to type it in the box then click verify.

P.S. I think this should be move to Meta.

lol, easy man.  its just a captcha and just so you know captchas are  so important  on a website because it will block those spammers and bots for automating the system and infact its not hard to solve it you will only have to follow the instructions properly on what it says in order to bypass it and also maybe theres a problem on your browser or internet connection,  that why you cant login.

Yeah I could feel you on that one and it could get really annoying. There is one thing that could possibly had caused this one if the captcha won' get accepted which is an error from the server or the website itself or there is a data traffic error that happened with your connection so just refresh the page.
