Just to let you know, I used bitcoinplus when it first came out, I completely forgot about it until last month. I mined as much as I could and had about 0.6 BTC, but at the time bitcoin wasnt worth so much so I just forgot about it. Then last month when I reliased what is was worth I logged on again to see my 0.6 BTC still there. I withdrew tried to withdraw it to my personal wallet there and then. But I never recievecd it. Then a few days later the site went down. After doing some researching I thought the site probably wouldnt come back and my money was lost, but I still emailed the owner. (i didnt get a reply) so a month later (today) i logged on to my account and found that my balance has been returned. So i tried another withdrawal straight to my cryptsy account this time, and it appears to have worked. I beleive he has worked on the automatic payment process. You now have to confirm the withdrawal via your email address. Its now in the blockchain and im waiting for it to appear in my cryptsy account now. It is showing as a pending transaction on the cryptsy account and as a completed withdrawal on bitcoinplus.

I don't think it is fair to say it is a scam, the 0.1 BTC policy is right there.  You can choose not to use the services.

Im surprised there are sites like Litecoinplus.com or any other CPU Friendly Altcoin. You could uses the same site for LTC, FBX, TBX, or even SLC.

Hopefully coming soon.  I am keeping an eye out on it.    BitcoinPlus is more or less just technology that was never perfected, so is old and nearly useless in the current implication.   If anyone could motivate the maker to show him how damn profitable it would be, I'm sure he would be on it.

I just transferred my funds from bitcoin plus. At this point, I consider it a pure scam. You get .00003 btc per share and the owner is still enforcing the .01 transfer fee. Plus you can only send multiples of .01. I'm really stumped as to why people would still be using that site.  Roll Eyes

I initiated a transfer on the 18th and it still hasn't happened.  Emailing didn't help.  I just had a couple of machines running it to mess around so no real loss.  Just a few cents maybe.  Yes it is a scam.  Whether or not it generates a lot of coin is irrelevant if transfers are not honored.

I don't think it is a scam.  It is just stupid.  Javascript (most efficient language I know) non-openCL CPU mining with 1.5M difficulty?  LOLZ.

Those days are long gone.
