yes i knew it meant 2 gfx cards and from what i understand cpu doesn't matter the gpu/s is going all the work or am i wrong on this?

For BTC GPU is the key but for the altcoins mentioned in that article you need CPU because there are 2 different types of mining

so amd 6990x2    1640    1.416       1200    1010    3072    2.1    PCI-E 2.0 x16 x16    phoenix 1.7.0  would be much better for mining then and looks like nvidia well sucks for bitmining

6990x2

that means 2(two) pieces of hradware

you may want to get a better cpu

someone posted here a link and he makes around 3.8$ in 24h worth of altcoins while mining

here is the link to his experiment www.reviewoutlaw.com/most-profitable-cpu-coin-list-alt-coin-profits-24-hours-mining

here is the whole discussion https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/most-profitable-coin-to-cpu-mine-412230

check here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

then go here http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator and enter your hashrate

Conclusion if difficulty will not increase you will make around 0.00323683 BTC/month

If I'm wrong correct me please!

That would probably be more useful as a gaming computer as well as altcoin miner. Mining bitcoins with it would be useless
