I'm guessing the feature is in litecoin and the 1000000000000 other alt coins as it was oriignally (and still) in bitcoin-qt and that wallet seems to be what all the other alts use to, modified however.

This is correct. Since most of the QT wallets are piggybacking off the former ones, all the forked coins will have QT wallets that are similar to their base coin. Most have CPU mining capability. Doesn't mean you should use it.
You could open doors using your feet instead of your hands - not recommended
IIRC, the qt wallet will only use your CPU, and even worse you can't set the CPU % usage but it will use 100% of your CPU power and make your machine terribly laggy.

The original Bitcoin-QT had the CPU Miner integrated into it. GPU mining was then introduced, then FPGA, then ASICs. Mining through the offline QT wallet is pointless for all but the most unwanted of CPU coins.
This feature was also available in the litecoin wallet and many altcoins sometime back. But that was in the day that mining with home computers actually had potential.

Dogecoin has a miner incorporated on their wallet.
I'm sure others coins also have, but I can't remember their names. Anyway, using the wallet miner will be supoptimal, because you can't configure the optimal settings for your computer and stuff.

Guys, I don't think that was the point. Read the post again ... From the sound of it, Squidoogeek was just trying out a coin creation service and discovered a little trick.
Commandrix is right...I do not intend to release this coin when I saw from other altcoin announcements that it might not go over well. I was just pointing this out as a way to get around the fact that sometimes people get frustrated while trying to figure out a way to mine cryptocurrencies.

Like you gave it the name (bullshitcoin) that's what it's worth...nothing. Unless you make your new coin better than any other it will remain worth nothing.
So I saw that somebody posted about CoinCreator in another post, so of course I start clicking around and trying out the free option just for the heck of it (I promise I won't release this one even though I think it would be cool to have a coin with my "real" name on it). It's a neat trick that I tried in my Bitcoin wallet. Basically you go to Help, get into the console and type in "setgenerate true" to start mining. You're instantly mining right on your computer. This is something I might remember for cryptocurrencies that don't have that high of a difficulty rating.
