Any exclusive Bitcoin android wallets other than Mycelium that would work as a cold wallet?
Apparently "Bither" has a cold storage mode... I've never used that mode, and haven't really used Bither itself other than installing it and messing about for a few hours... so I'm not going to recommend it as such, but it might be worth checking out.

Supposedly, you can "monitor" the cold account from your "hot" device, generate unsigned transactions and use QR-Codes to transmit the unsigned/signed transactions to/from the "cold" device.

Check it out here: https://bither.net/

Block halving is coming.
You are looking for https://airgap.it/

I never tried it as having the cold storage on an used phone with degrading battery doesn't appeal to me.

Or have a look at the upcoming https://trussywallet.com/

this airgap Seems like a good alternative. But I was looking for something that was Bitcoin only. Mycelium is pretty trusted and old and it is also more tested ... if you know what I mean. Any exclusive Bitcoin android wallets other than Mycelium that would work as a cold wallet?
But the problem of using mycelium wallet you can't make an offline transaction or sign a transaction through mycelium while you are not connected to the internet. It is not the same as Electrum desktop wallet where you can sign a transaction without internet connection.

airgap wallet/vault is another good alternative if you are looking for mobile offline wallet as the above suggested. I tested this wallet but not in bitcoin you can install the wallet in two devices one is your offline wallet and the another one is your watch only wallet.

Also check this coinomi wallet option from here

To import a watch-only wallet, you can simply add a new 'account' and then enter either an address or the master public key (xpub).

But AFAIK, you can not create unsigned transaction with mycelium.

The 'offline wallet tool' from the drop down menu is for importing private keys / xpriv / seeds from a printed version (e.g. from a paper wallet).
This is not for creating unsigned transaction on an offline mobile.

I was writing some articles recently on cold wallets, this is the exact thing that stopped me from featuring Mycelium on my list.

However, you can create an offline wallet with Mycelium, just put it in a phone with no cellular or wifi or any kind of data. Just won't be able to create those offline transactions.

I want to create a watch only cold wallet with mycelium, can someone guide me? I want to set it up on an offline mobile phone and then be able to transact with the cold storage transaction tool from the drop down on my online phone..

is this possible?
