when I looked at the gas content in my ERC 20 wallet it was not enough to send the alt I had to the exchange, because the gas fee were very high.

You could send some ERC-20  token to the centralized exchange starting next week. From the third week months, transaction cost will rise again. Until the next bear market, we couldn't see below 1 USD transaction cost. Even every day has a perfect time to send ERC-20 tokens, when Ethereum blockchain is free.

If you cannot provide extra gas you should just hope that the fee goes low, but that is such a small possibility I think it is better to just put some extra funds so that you can transfer your token properly than to wait; the fee is kind of high right now and I don't see it changing anytime soon.

Eth Gas Fees is very big problem for token transferring. Need too much eth as a gas fee on Etherium blockchain and not have any other way for low Gas fees.

The transaction fees right now is really high specially if it is in ethereum transactions. You can adjust the gwei to small value but the processing time will be slow and I don't think it will still help because the value of ethereum right now is really high, so it is understandable that eth gas fees are high nowadays.

Already I mentioned in my earlier post. This is the main reason why now I don't like dex. Although centralized exchange has higher fake volume. Only binance exchange has a very high liquidity pool, you can transfer ERC-20 tokens to binance exchange. But you can't avoid low cost, 5-10 USD must have to pay.

there is no solution at all regarding ethereum's GAS fees Of course, many users of the ethereum platform are very upset about this issue Fee prices are unreasonable and difficult to get down, I hope for new projects to move to another network so that we as bounty hunters or investors do not pay high fees just to send a token

You have no other choice but to send your altcoin to the exchange. You have to pay this huge fee to send your funds. Now the huge transection fee of ETH network is really a matter of thinking. A popular network is forcing users to pay so many fees that are profitable for them but very harmful for crypto users. If this continues, it will be very inconvenient for ordinary crypto users who use eth network.

Sucks for you I guess.
I experience that back when I was going from MEW to EtherDelta but I am pretty sure it was cheaper back then but I was low on my capital so somehow it is kind of "expensive" in my end due to possible losses I might stumble upon.
As what everyone suggested, you're almost just up to wait for the gas fee to go lower. Sorry for that, OP.

There is no way out of this high ethereum gas fee right now, you should accept things the way it is or hold your tokens and wait for when the gas fee is low, there is huge sell off happening right now and ethereum is going down, use ethgas.watch to track ethereum gas fee and see if it's more affordable to make transaction

I don't have any possible way that could help you, to send token on exchange with low fee.not only you but also all of us are suffering this bullshit fee issue.but if you transfer your token during dawn to early morning, then may reduce because that time ether network has normal crowd and so it takes normal fee to transfer erc20 altcoins but you have to keep big amount of fee if you need to have emergency transactions

Since the DeFi hype in 2020, gas fees have continued to rise higher and higher. Especially now that the price of Ethereum has reached the new ATH,
the gas fee required to send the tokens we have on the ERC20 wallet to exchanges is getting higher. Until now I have not found a solution regarding
this matter, there is no other way but to wait for the gas fee to decrease. Meanwhile I can only leave my tokens in the ERC20 wallet right now.

Everyone wants to use the most popular Ethereum network, but nobody wants to pay the cost of transactions. If the project lives and remains in demand for so long, despite the high commission fees, then it is profitable. Sooner or later, everything will work out and prices will return to normal.

don't feel confuse sir, at first we will feel confuse for sure, but there is no other way to make ETH's gas fee low, because ETH's gas fees are so high and of course the value of ETH itself is very expensive right now, everyday all we can see is green arrow, that's good though, but the gas fee is for quite sure very high, let's hope the gas fee will become low sooner.

Apparently no, ERC-20 had been clogged since DeFi projects started coming up. Especially now that ETH is at its highest the cost of doing microtransactions will be more than the value of what you are transferring. This is the downside of bull-market, the transaction fee also sky rockets.

Sadly speaking but that's the reality until now, there's no way for you to transfer your token.

If you are using ERC then you need to pay for each fees in order to complete your transaction, the very bad side using this chain, as you don't have any other option, you'll be stuck holding those assets while watching the value to rise regretful but nothing can be done unless you are willing to pay the gas.

There is no cheaper way to send tokens because the transaction fee is set by the system and miners won't pick any fee that is lower than the standard if the network is highly congested.  Unless you wait for the network to not be congested, there is no other way.
sad, but it really troubles a lot of people. increasingly crazy network fees will make people think twice about getting into this business. I hope ethereum will release their update soon, if this is allowed to drag on, it will hurt a lot of people

there is nothing to do but wait for Gwei from Ethereum to decrease, at times like this the fee we have to pay for each transaction is around $ 20- $ 30, if you don't have that much fee, then it's useless you won't be able to send it, and make sure Gas what you input is more than 60000 because if it fails, your fee will be lost and your token will not be sent.

There is no way to resolve it as long as the ETH network is busy you can't avoid it. Unless, you are willing to wait until the network is not busy or you are willing to wait until the developer of ETH upgrade their system to make transaction being proccessed fastly. If I'm not mistaken, the ETH developer has doing that at the end of last year and the transaction is being proccessed fastly. Although we have known the DeFi project has growth in this area and most of DeFi's project using ETH network.

i think its better to send more ethereum to your wallet before you send the tokens in your wallet to exchange
because as i know the transactions fee is depends on how much the gas we need to send any tokens from our wallet
so, there is no cheaper way to send the tokens from your wallet mate

You can try at different times or at times when the network is not much congested and if you get that time you will see that gas price will be low and you will be able to transact for less. I do realize that the time is tough for token traders but hopefully good news will soon be here regarding scalability issues as eth 2.0 implementation at network level will commence soon.

There are second layer options available in the market that many people use but obviously they are not for everyone and not all coins or tokens can be wrapped so the only viable solution is the launch of full scale eth 2.0 with sharding and update of token model and launch of sharding.
Wait for start Ethereum 2.0 Phase 2  Grin
OP, seriously though, the best option is to wait for Sunday evening. Traders are resting and the price of gas drops to 60-70 gwei. You have no other options, and if the commission with such a gas price per transaction seems expensive to you, then it remains to wait for Ethereum 2.0 Phase 2.
Some people write about solutions 2 level, but they do not understand that before using it, these tokens need to be sent to the address of the project's smart contract. You will still pay commission on the Ethereum network

Ethereum is now more profitable to trade than to make transfers. But it upsets me even more that tokens on the Ethereum platform have exactly the same problem. For example, the difference in Tether fees on ERC-20 and TRC-20 is just gigantic. Well, it seems that a new patch will be released soon, which, according to the developers, should fix the situation.

You just better get yourself notified into the latest status of the gas fee to better know on which perfect time you can do transactions because right now, there is no desirable way on how you can transact cheap now that the gas fee is surging expensive. If the transaction you wish to be done is not that important for now, better wait for awhile until the price decreases a little bit that will suit your budget and not that heavy to be affordable. We have nothing to do as for now for we are not in control of the price changes. We just need to wait for a little bit until it lower down compared to the expensive price it have right now.

I believe there is no other cheaper way to send your Altcoins If you have ERC-20 based coins you have to pay a Gas fee to transfer your coins from one place to another. Keep more valued Eth in your wallet to transfer the coins or wait when the Gas fee will be drop then only you can transfer.

There are several altcoins with very low postage such as Trx and Waves. I have used these two altcoins for shipping costs and I also have some small erc20 tokens but I can't use them because the eth gas costs are very high and not worth the selling value of the tokens I have, so can only wait for eth gas down.

You have 2 choices right now when you want to transfer ERC20 tokens from one into another.

1. Not to exchange at all.
2. Close your eyes while clicking the Confirm Button and think that nothing happened Cheesy.

Right now, ETH gas fees are very high that people who are transferring small amounts can't afford it. Right now it is $5.84 on Etherscan and still it is very high if you will ask those small traders out there. If you are transferring small amounts though, it would be better if you will just wait for the fees of ETH to go down but I doubt that it will happen. Your choice Smiley.

It is annoying that Ethereum transaction fees are currently high, especially since the Ethereum price is also being pumped. So it requires quite a lot of  gas fees if you want to send tokens to the exchanges from the ERC20 wallet. So there is no other way but to be patient and wait until the gas fees fall  back down.
This is a problem that many people complain about, the only solution is that you have to wait for the right time when the gas fees go down and then you swap use uniswap or send it to exchange, after that if you want to hold tokens I suggest you only hold tokens from the TRC20 network or BSC network, because of the fees of both networks it's very cheap.

It can't be stop, so instead of complaining about the fee if you earn high like 1000$ profit then gas fee 20$ you still get 980$.
This is the cycle of the cryptocurrency dude. So, my motivation is trade and trade then when the price dump I will buy the dip just like a simple thing rolling capital.

There are only two ways to make gas costs cheap, first you have to monitor the cost of ETH gas at any time, because there is a situation when gas costs suddenly become cheaper, and when that happens you can make transactions.
and secondly you only need to hold a token from the TRON network, because the TRON network transaction fees are very cheap. Even in the case of USDT the transaction fee is 0.

Im also prefer TRC20 over ERC20, the high gas fee issue is not worth anymore.
Even ETH 2.0 which will come, i dont think they can solve this issue since the Ethereum Blockchain is really busy at this moment.

Is that token you're about to send worth to be used with high gas fees? if there's no volume for that token, you shouldn't effort sending that elsewhere just to save time and fees as well. But if you have to and there's quite sum of money you'll get upon the transfer, always be prepared and check: https://ethgasstation.info/
To calculate the fees, I think 146 gwei is quite lower at this time unlike 200+ that I've seen last few days ago.

thats what am thinking here. is it worth to pay high gas fees for the token that he needs to get out? because if not, better wait for the timing that eth network is not so busy. but if he can't wait, then he can always send more eth to his wallet. that is, if he is willing to pay the high gas fees.
He didn't replied to this thread and he hadn't been online since yesterday. If the few is unacceptable, they always have the choice not to choose to pay the recommended.
You're right that they can wait until the network becomes lite and can pay the fees that it shows at the cheapest that it can.

You don't have to wait or something. It's simple. If you don't want your transaction to be verified fast and pay these extreme fees, just select a low value like 60-70 gwei or lower, send the transaction and once gas price falls low, your transaction will be confirmed.

I don't know what is the alternative way for that, many people are suffering due to high gas price in every transactions that's why most of the people are waiting for eth 2.0 and some chooses binance smart chain for faster and cheaper tx fee. Wait for the gas to subside so that you will no longer pay for high gas because it is really painful to pay that because sometimes the gas is lot bigger than the amount of coin you are holding.

Unfortunately, there is no other way, all you need to do is to wait. Ethereum fees are really incredible. There is little lifehack how to spend less money on fee in current situation. Gas price is always lower on the weekend at night. Also you can use Ethereum Gas Price Extention. It will let you check online gas price directly in your browser

I really don't think there's any other way out than to wait for a time the gas fee will drop. Most times it's usually when there's less traffic on the ETH chain. The time, for me, is usually midnight in my country. I don't know whether it's coincidence or what but I have come to notice that whenever I send any cryptocurrency (Bitcoin inclusive) it goes without delay and miners' fees are reduced. May be OP should find out what works for them. However, honestly this exorbitant and exploitative gas fee is killing the ETH mojo. No?

It's not only you but I'm still waiting for the fees to go down again consider I don't have enough gas to send my transaction. In ethereum, there's no accelerator that can push the transaction.
We must wait until everything will be normal again and the fees will be very cheap again to send the tokens
You can send your token use minimum gas cost but it takes a very long time to be confirmed.

In the past we only needed at least 0.001 eth to make transactions for selling tokens or coins in the market, but now precisely when the price of eth has increased quite high it has an impact on the increasingly expensive gas costs for transactions, imagine if we have to spend around 0.03-0.05 eth just for Doing token sales in markets such as 1inchi and also uniswap, isn't that quite a burden for us exchanger users today, I personally even have a few tokens that do have prices on the market but after I calculate the high gas costs it seems better to save these tokens and wait for the gas to experience a slight decrease in costs.

Thinking of this also but theres No way, Normal fees right now without smartcontract is $6 and with using sc almost 20-50 usd this is too much fees I wont try to send my tokens if this fees are huge killing all the profits we gain from trading in dex no way I will wait patiently till fees goes down normally  large eth miners are going to be very rich this year because of defi,

You can track gas fee of Ethereum here: https://etherscan.io/gasTracker

But keep it mind, Maybe, Gas fee of ETH and gas fee of ERC-20 not same.

If you make a transaction in ethereum blockchain then gas fee is required. Just wait for reduction.

There's no cheaper way to send your token, if you have not enough gas to send it and what you can do just only wait until the gwei will decrease but it looks like this time the gwei is starting to go back again to the what it should be. You may need wait until it will be around 70 gwei and you can send your token to the exchange site or another address.

Wait until the blockchain not busy, its will decrease the gas fee a bit.
But since the Ether price is Rising, i dont think theres will be a cheap transaction fee anymore...

I think you have 2 ways:
1:Change your wallet.there are many wallets on the internet you can see which wallets are better for Transactions.
2:waiting
yes,if you waiting these gas fees are make less and usually lower late at night at other times.

The prices are at it's peak and I think the bull-run will not be over too soon. The price of transacting in ERC-20 platform will remain high as the network gets clogged from time to time due to the huge volume of transactions. I used to use XRP before when moving my funds from one wallet to another since the transaction fee is cheap and it is fast. However, with the recent issue, I kept away from using XRP, not to mention it got delisted on some platforms.

actually, there is a way to pay a fee with a small fee, one of which is to reduce gwei / gas before making a transaction. However, the risk of it is that the transaction process fails, and your eth will be reduced even if the transaction fails. I did that before, but I succeeded after 2x tries.

however, my advice at this point is to wait until the gas is completely normal. maybe wait for gwei below 100.

when I looked at the gas content in my ERC 20 wallet it was not enough to send the alt I had to the exchange, because the gas fee were very high.
do you have a cheaper way to send tokens ??

share your opinion ,,please

I see there are many advising you to read this and that site or topic, I can tell you, until the price of ETH drops to $ 500, you will not be able to transfer your tokens to the exchange. As you understand, it all depends on the price of ETH, the lower the less gas.

there is no other way to make gas fees from Ethereum become low, because for now gas fees from Ethereum are very high and all you have to do is wait until gas fees from Ethereum become cheap, although we don't know when it will happen or maybe even gas fees from Ethereum could be more expensive than now.
Then why should people like us be happy about holding some tokens for bull season sake when we can't even send the tokens to exchanges? What's the wait for altcoin season all about? It makes no sense because if Ethereum gets to 2000$ the gas fee will even increase further

there is no other way, you just have to wait until this matter is passed. even vitalik couldn't do anything about this matter. The ethereum network is terrible, too congested, and this makes gas very expensive. forget for a moment the erc20 tokens you have, if you don't have enough eth to send them.

There is no way to send tokens with cheap fees nowadays, even if you use any wallet based on erc20 it will have the same result, the only way is you have to wait until the fees are cheap if you are impatient then you have to buy ETH

No there is no cheaper way to send tokens since the tokens are running on Ethereum smart contract, you can either wait till gas fee goes lower or find a way to get more Ethereum to complete the transaction, right now Ethereum network is discouraging

Everything about this high has fee is just bringing discouragements to use the Ethereum platform, because it doesn't really makes sense paying higher for fees, the funny part is that, there are even times that the gas fees will be so high that it will surpass the total worth of the token you are trying to send to an exchange. It just keeps getting higher and even when you wait for it to reduce it will still be high to some extent.
Well, currently, there is nothing that can be done about it, if you try to customise the gas fee, you will either be faced with a pending transaction or a failed transaction as a result of "out of gas" situation, while ending up losing the gas fee as well. My opinion is, wait for it to drop down a bit.

Gas prices on Ethereum are hard to predict; they can be as cheap as 1 gwei or less at off-peak hours, while some transactions pay into the hundreds of gwei to buy into that juicy ICO or hit an order on EtherDelta before any other players. Users who need to be mined quickly or first often engage in fierce bidding wars, bidding wars in which using GasToken provides an enormous advantage by letting you perform the same transactions while spending less gas.

Try to browse the topic below.
And follow the instructions there, hopefully it can help you to reduce ERC 20 gas.

This morning Ethereum gas fees were below 90 gwei. Seems a good price, as earlier that week I’ve seen 250+ gwei for a normal speed transaction. I think “below 100 gwei” has become todays normal. I think we wont see below 80 gwei price in nearest future. So just get used to.

you should consider as a sort of "monetary privilege" be able to broadcast a transaction in blockchain. it means also that are you trying to exchange a very low volume in terms of value so no interesting at all to give a quick lane... as told, right now you can just wait fees will decrease.
but you are assuming double risk. fees will not decrease, your operation will not be profitable anymore!

The only way for you to wait for the gas price to decrease, there's no other way to send your alt when you didn't have enough gas. It's blockchain.
You can do nothing about that if you are not willing to send more gas to your wallet. I think that's the point.
