One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people......

He said, "My son, the battle is between the two "wolves" inside all of us.

One is Evil . It is anger, hatred, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good . It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee replied simply, "The one you feed."

"But Grandfather, what if you feed them both?"

"Nitrowolf!"

Too bad it's not as clean cut as good or evil, but rather a spectrum for each of those traits.

That's why we have the Ten Commandments, and the other of Moses' moral laws.

Smiley

EDIT: Moses' stuff makes sense, but if you don't understand it, simply do it, and you will be doing good.
