No no... from any customer...

You deposit BTCs, trade for dollars, and then you realice that Cryptsy withdrawal does not work and end with your money blocked over a month, without any solution from support...  this is a scam for me.
I have no other explanation for this.

I find it unlikely honestly. Send me a ticket number or something like that so I can verify and get you sorted if that is the issue.

The majority of posts where someone has had their money taken etc are fake generally some guy trying to socially engineer his way into an account and steal money.... We take security seriously.

I wrote about my incident in the post:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/why-does-cryptsy-get-so-much-hate-1032488

in that post you asked me too for a ticket number, and I gave to you, without any sucess... you have too many words for the gallery and few acts, like all Cryptsy support service.

It took me over a month get my money back, re-buying BTCs again in order to make a withdrawal, and in all that time, service support give no other response than "Sorry, we asking you for more patience"...

Yes I always had issues with cryptsy. But I kinda like the exchange.

But, lately there has been a lot of claims saying that the exchange was stealing from customers... I dunno if its true but a lot of people has been complaining.

You mean from the guy who wouldn't change his password.....

A delay of one hour is overly, 24 or 48 hours could be the height.

All reasonable and half decent exchanges do the same thing OP, I personally think that is a good idea. Of course you obviously don't but if you really need the bitcoin that much it probably should not have been on an exchange to begin with  Roll Eyes  Cheesy

My case is worst...

I am waiting a withdrawal in tether, (about 1000$) since day 2 of this month (and today is 25) and I have no explanation from Cryptsy.
Support just ask me for patience... More?

Cryptsy is a shit company, capable of that.

Today, if you use Tether, you can suffer the same... simply the system doesn not work, neither the support service.

maybe cryptsy could make a message popup, when people are trying to change their password,
and the message warns them that when they change their password they will not be able to withdraw for 24-48 hours?

if cryptsy did that then people might not get upset like fedoracoin

i think he is upset because he didn't realize that cryptsy would do that when he changed his password.

Cryptsy has several algorithms in place to protect its users. There is also a trading algo that locks your account if it detects panic trading. Lips sealed

When your account is locked you can't make bad decisions and your coins are 100% safe.

In your next e-mail to them, perhaps you can ask them to change your diaper.

"Thank you for contacting us.

To prevent unauthorized withdraws, all accounts that activate a pw reset will be frozen for a period of 24-48 hours. Your account will be unlocked after and your withdrawal will go thru at that time.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but it is your security we must protect.

And also in order to better protect your account from any possible losses due to unauthorized use of your computer,
we have provided you with 2FA security on your settings page.

Please add 2FA to your account and select a pre authorized withdraw address

Please let me know if you need further assistance.. "

fuck that i want my btc

This is their standard protocol for anyone who recently changed their password. It will protect their users and I see nothing wrong with it.
It is frustating not to be able to withdraw after you change your password recently but the measure is a necessary one.
