I wish I had a camcorder handy when I witnessed the following:
About a month ago, I was in Chicago resting at a red light. To my right I saw seven people of various ilk all speaking on their cells. An elderly, fragile woman pulling a cart stopped mid-stride among the other seven. The seven people paid no attention to her, but at the same time she kept nodding her head from side to side looking directly at each of the cell users. It seemed to me she wasn't prying in on their conversations, but perplexed as to what they were all doing, and why. It was times like that that I wish the light would never turn green. The other side of my wanted to park the truck, get out and approach her, saying something like, "It's your time. You ready to go?"
