Personally, I would feel sorry for them.

Imagine being bred to be cute over many generations, inheriting genetic defects that would make your life painful and short.

No wonder why they are so aggressive all the time, they are often very inbred.

it's easier to train them when they're young. Dogs are like humans, they have different behaviors and characteristics just like us. Some are just very naughty that sometimes you get irritated. I actually had a dog and he was very naughty tearing stuffs and everywhere is a mess. It took many days to train him to behave and now he's not that naughty anymore. As owners you need to have a lot of patience training your dogs. In the end the efforts you put will always pay off.

As far as I know, people feed dogs to satisfy themselves emotionally. Have you ever wondered why the dog is barking?

Your dog needs to learn how to treat other people in your home or far away your dog is welcome in many more places if he is calm gentle and well socialized until you have some self control through training you put him in the hole when you come over to the company during a friendship or friendship with him and let him stay at home. I have 2 big dogs right now, but I wouldn't mind having just small dogs in the future.

They are so much easier to transport. I do not like yappy dogs, but I wouldn't mind getting a small dog who is already like 2-3 years old so I can more accurately judge their personality.

I think you are just not used to their barking yet, or you are a person who doesn't like fuss. if you get really annoyed like the best way you can take is just to sell the dog back.

Even if you are able to get used to small dogs barking, it will be challenging. It can be loud, incessant, and ear-piercing.
Eliminating the cause of the dog's barking is a better solution.

I think creatures like that need to be understood. They may be reacting like that when discomforted or maybe trying to let you know something in their dog language that may sound unpleasant to humans but normal/harmless communication/expressions in their dog culture/language. They are probably made in that way for useful purposes. I tend to think dogs that of different types don't need to be always cheerful, or aggressive, or protective etc.
Better to avoid what discomfort them, and focus more on the good things they like. If that's is try long enough they will learn to trust you. They could be taken where they would be mostly useful, or you let them safely express themselves to understand what department they would be mostly useful.

I have cared for:

german short haired pointer-Albertina
lab/pointer mix- M&Ms
lab/pointer mix- Francose
bulldog-Alfie

The two toy or miniature poodles were very quiet
but both died young and I suspect that is why they were so quiet.

The two rat terriors were barking beasts.
the bulldog was an asshole but did not bark much.

the lab/pointer mix were the best of them all
the pointer was a good dog and it out lived both of its two kids.

The rat terriers are good dogs for living in the woods in the middle of no where.

Very alert. They sound the alarm and the bigger dogs 🐕 get ready for action.

Since I live in the burbs and dont have a rat 🐀 problem I would never have a rat terrier.

i can relate on this mate, because i only love Dogs when they are already trained but with small one? nah Grin

i would rather choose kittens , because a small cat is much lovable and easy to bring to maturity thandogs.

Those people that has Small Rat Dogs usually are type of people with Longer patience , They really prefer themselves for this kind of situation.
So barking and even not proper Pooing is what they are training for.

Just look for Half aged Dogs so they are easily to handle.

Yes, I know that these dogs can be hard work for owners. I have never had one myself, but I prefer medium-sized dogs that have a calmer temperament.

I feel you brother, in my mind small dogs are no real dogs and more like cats. My neighbor has three of these small dogs and it's so ridiculous, she is carrying them to the park and only in the park they can walk a little around. And in autumn and in winter she keeps dressing them up in all kind of clothes. This is not how you treat animals. It feels like small dogs are barking much more than bigger ones. I prefer real dogs, my favourite are German shepards.

People who keep pets actually depends on their characters as far as I know, for me cats are lot better than these stupid small dogs and I love aggressive and huge dogs. Cute puppies are kind of girly pet. Grin
