I'd use one of those services that convert bitcoin instantly into fiat currency, nothing against bitcoin or anything but the volatility is the killer part of it so you'll just have the money in which you know you have when people donate and you'll be all happy and fine.

Nothing like getting a $100 donation and it's worth $80 at the end of the stream, though I guess that could go both ways.

What are the best services for changing bitcoin into USD?

I mostly use Coinbase.com, gdax.com, and localbitcoins.com

So you are not partnered with Twitch so far? YOu don't have that subribe button on your channel?
From what I know Twitch allows you to subscribe and pay directly with bitcoin, so you don't have to do anything.
As for the tips, it is harder, there used to be services like ChangeTip or Zapchain but they are closed now.

No not partnered with twitch yet, there are a few reasons they've denied us but I'm going to keep applying every two weeks, as per their requests.

Hi!

So I'm a twitch streamer, and have close to 500 followers. I get tips every now and then, and I was thinking about allowing followers to tip (and possibly sub) with bitcoin.

I've also been told that depending on how often I stream, that some people might be interested in advertising on my streams in the btc community, if that's the case how does that work?

I don't really have a huge use for btc but I've been told I should accept it several times. What are the best services for changing bitcoin into USD?

Thanks in advance guys.

It is very good idea it will give a boost in your service, their are so many exchanges where you can change your bitcoins in USD. the good ones are, poloniex, bittrex , c-cex this are some good exchanges where you can buy and sell bitcoins

Bitcoin is a great investment right now and very easy to exchange using services listed here:
http://bitcoinbarrel.com/bitcoin-exchanges/

To sell advertising for BTC you can create a thread in the services section here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

Good luck!
