Maybe in the near future when Cryptocurrencies are widely used universities and schools will create a special course for this, we need proper education on the subject of Cryptocurrency although there are many videos on Youtube and many articles only it's different when taught in school.

It's a nice idea you've got there and choosing an almost or already graduating students is a good pick as they are already used to the learning culture and can actively practice what they learn by means of participation.
Though, we don't know what your lesson plan looks like, do ensure to take them through the various terminologies involved in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a field and in the simplest of terms without ambiguity.
It aids for better understanding.

Maybe we can teach younger people to invest in crypto, but we must tell them about the risk, so they can understand and don't make a rash decision. They need to learn about bitcoin investment or crypto investment to think and manage their money to be used for the investment. If they lose the investment, they can learn from the mistake, so they can have the experience and will not repeat the other mistake.

If you are young you dont think to much about your future. Andi f you have the possibility to get rich very quick you ignore the warnings (FOMO). But it is not the students, it is their parents as well. What would you do if your child loses her money due to a teacher

You want students at the age of 14 to invest in something that can also cause high losses? You know nothing about the economic background of the students.
How can you be sure that they will stay invested in Bitcoin and not switch to Shitcoins with more gain but at even higher risk?

This is a very good concern your plan will certainly be much better but how you will teach them about bitcoin is unknown to us. If you have taken a financial advantage then there are many poor talented people who will not be able to learn bitcoin However, education through blockchain technology will move the young society forward huge later they will become more interested in working in crypto and the demand for crypto will increase.

I think the idea is basically a good one. But I still don't quite understand what your goal is? Do you want to teach the students how to buy Bitcoins, for which applications the Blockchain is good or do you want to explain the monetary system to the students?
In general it is a difficult topic, because people of that age are more likely to see the potential gain than the loss.

I think you should consider Blockchain technology to be part of your lessons. Show them how blocks work and how Bitcoin and crypto were connected with it. It was a really broad and vast topic to be discussed in three weeks yet if you could really explain it well, it would only take days to make them understand it. BTW, would you tell us what topics have you already written in your plan and what are the scopes of your lessons? There are things in crypto that are complex that you might find a difficulty to teach them soon.

Please don't teach them that Bitcoin can be their source of income, soon they might struggle with such ideology.

Congratulations on making my plan a hit But i feel the simplest thanks to teaching students about crypto is to burn in batches. this may increase everyone's attention and help one to unravel the matter of another. the scholars won't be disappointed Everyone will find how to urge obviate their frustration and unemployment Before that, the essential idea must be applied to everyone.

Well guess I am an educator too in secondary level and doing a part time job on tertiart level.

I know most of education system has similarities being copied from one system modified or improve and there were guidelines being imposed. I do not know how these could be possible to teach bitcoin in students literally in formal or classroom instruction. This surely will violate guidelines on the teaching process regarding on irrelevant topics to be discussed for example bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not yet formally introduced by the government and it is also impossible to for now because or rumors against bitcoin like scam investment.

However, I know that bitcoin will going to be part of the culture one day. Well just have to wait on when could it be just like the pandemic we are facing now. Some countries do consider it as the new normal way of living life adapting the current situations with the pandemic.

Teach them the real basics about bitcoin and blockchain, the purpose of bitcoin, where can be stored, how can be it stored, how does it depreciate, effect of demand and supply on bitcoin price, and many more to teach. I believe that you have a good initiative to teach your student about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I just want to suggest that you only have to teach them the basics of cryptocurrency as currency, usability, how it works and security. You dont need to teach them technical details about bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Let them experiment on their own after they get basic direction about bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Basic understanding is the most important thing to know and after that let them set their own goal for bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

At the moment I have no desire to teach bitcoin to other in the real world. This is because of the limited time and understanding that I have about bitcoin and if it has to be then I will only teach them the basics which later I will also direct them to the forum to gain broader understanding and knowledge.

Good initiative because most of the children today does not have enough knowledge and does not know that there is an existing with the use of the bitcoin because this is not too much popular on them and does not too much common when they have a normal conversation about this kind of coin but still even there is news on the bitcoin common thing is on the internet only like they are using this kind of coin only for a black market and only for the internet but today some of the people make an investment with the use of it and earn a lot of profit with the help of it.

Students are always poor.... a lot of us has been there and we know the feeling. This might be one of the topics that you have to touch in more detail, namely : "How to earn bitcoins" .... by this I am not just saying.. getting paid in bitcoin, but rather doing any kind of job to earn fiat cash and then converting that into bitcoins. (Too many people are looking for sites and Ponzi schemes to get rich quick or to get paid with bitcoin)

I will also include all the safe storage methods of bitcoins... because they will work hard to get it, but it can quickly get lost if they store it in the wrong way. (Include the creation of safe offline storage methods like, Paper wallets.  

That's a good idea if they will embrace your free gifts to them as college students. Do you intend to teach them free without charges? Just asking because many of them won't take your lessons serious; when it is free, just speaking from experience though. Your kind should be appreciated for such initiative by your colleagues.

Advise: be patient with them because they are noobs and getting to hear some terminologies from the industry first time. Don't get into your teaches with "you can make hundreds, thousands or millions from cryptocurrency investment or trade". Show them how important to be with the right ideas when talking about cryptocurrency.

Find the teachers...and talk about bitcoin, the more people who like you "idea," more effective it becomes in the scope of knowledge.

Keep climbing and go to the directors, so give the seeds in them of bitcoin, in this process you may recruit some enthusiasts (director, teachers, college students).

With those enthusiasts go or send an email to your educational ministry, federation or whatever you call it in your country and create schedules of regional activities, or simply ask permission to spread bitcoin in your guild as a technological alternative that can have a not only economic effect but social.

Becoming a bitcoin ambassador only requires the desire, today's technologies can allow you to become their guild in, perhaps, a benchmark, they may not recognize your effort, in the present time, but in the future you It will be remembered, I assure you by your colleagues and students, like the teacher who told me about bitcoin.

In addition to what previous responders have written, I want to add that you should teach them the basic of investing in bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. The new way of scammers decieving gullible newbies and scamming them is becoming alarming. Let them understand the only way to invest safely is to buy their coins and store in their personal wallet and not on exchanges.

Also let them understand that them giving their miney to the so called cryptocurrency, blockchain experts to trade, invest or store for them is foolishness. Their patronizing of Ponzi scheme, matric, MLM business using bitcoin and other altcoins as payment option isn't cryptocurrency investment. Let them understand that before they think about investing in other altcoins they should own some Satoshi that's if they can't afford 1 bitcoin.

It will go a long way if you do make them know how Bitcoin truly works. Today, there are a lot of misconceptions about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. I feel if people had a background knowledge about bitcoin, blockchains and cryptocurrencies, It will go a long way. Even though it's just the fundamentals. That should get them curious enough to learn.

– Demystify some terminologies used in the crypto space.
– How blockchain works
– Crypto markets and why it's not a typical get rich scheme as most ponzi schemes make it look.

It’s a great thing that you are going to teach college students about Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, especially in this worldwide pandemic.

In the Philippines, there are a few well-known universities who are offering blockchain elective courses. When I was in Cebu City as a keynote speaker to educate students and teachers about Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and blockchain, the faculty, staff and crypto advocates invited me for a meeting-after-meeting session.

It convinced them to consider implementing courses that would cover Bitcoin, cryptos and blockchain technology in their curriculum. It’s all about continued awareness, advocacy and education about the real and positive use cases of it.

of the three topics that you mentioned are indeed important topics to convey. But more important is how to safely store or use a bitcoin wallet. Because many people are careless with the storage method they use. one example of using a hardware wallet is a safe way that can be used but must buy a wallet with it for about $ 100- $ 200. All also depends on each user. Some students might understand better what they have to do to secure their bitcoin wallet.

There is a lot to learn if you want to get into the cryptocurrency market, if you want to tell new people about bitcoin I think there are a few things you should tell them:
The short definition of bitcoin, its advantages, disadvantages and history
How to create Bitcoin wallets and store them
The scams on the cryptocurrency market
The risks of participating in the cryptocurrency market
Personally, I would like to tell them, "Never invest everything in bitcoin."

You can post the lessons here also I'm sure many newbies will benefit, that is going to be a rewarding experience for you and your students it's easy to teach this technology to students than these professionals because you can easily arise their curiosity and inspire them to embrace this technology, you can include the profit that people are making here but also teach the volatility of the market.

The idea of sharing your knowledge with others is generally a positive thing, but I would advise you to be careful when it comes to something that involves money or anything that can lead to financial losses. You should also take into account that you will put yourself at risk if you go public, because maybe someone thinks that you have a significant amount of BTC and you can become the target of an attack.

Don't let this discourage you, but I think you have to look at the other side of the coin and consider what you can gain and what you can lose. You can teach others without physical contact using some video apps, or you can create a website and then share it with your friends.

It is a very good idea. I always appreciate this type of idea. If you really wanna teach them well. I suggest you that, first of all, don't talk about income, teach them basic about BTC and Blockchain first. no matter how much you teach, without basic it will incomplete and useless. secondly, I suggest you to teach them about all kind of crypto currency. After that inform them about the BTC market, tell them the history of BTC, and give them an idea of what the future of BTC. I think your teaching will be successful, if you teach them step by step.

Final year students at what level of education, university/college or high school final year students, that's important in deciding the direction your tutoring will take, as well as the age of the students, their understanding capacity and financial strength, as far as investments is concerned.

I'll take universitity students for example, from my experience of those who have approached me, they are more concerned about 'how to invest in bitcoin' and already have, maybe not a firm, but at least a grip of the basics. If you are going to be teaching younger students, investment which involves capital may not be paramount, their curiosity will be more of "what is bitcoin".

I am curious about the lesson plan and why you think working on Bitcoin or crypto is a good choice or not for them.
however, related to what topics they should know:
1. it must be the basic about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies
2. Tell the profits and also risks that we will probably gain in the crypto world
3. Tell about the prospect of the income to be got from crypto, but never tell that it will be very promising and aking them rich easily.

For a start, you can teach them the basic like how it works and how it was created and what are the motivations of the creators why he created it, and the goals and the benefits that every generation can get out of using this technology, as much as possible don't discuss about volatility until they understand how it really works, concentrate on it's usage.

1. First say them what is bitcoins.
2. How this work.+ how to secure it.
3. Where you can use it.
4. Advantage /disadvantage  of using bitcoin.
5. Ways of earning bitcoin from internet.
6. Bitcoin trading. (If you know more about it), etc.

You can start with this points. There are more things will be come when all students will be pro about crypto. 

That's great, All teachers and schools should do the same. In my time we don't have general and career opportunities subject How about your school regulation, they are not strict about cryptocurrencies? That's a nice initiative OP. Teaching them about bitcoin is just like the same with how teachers teach them with the lesson. Obviously, starting from the introduction, the basics, and slowly moving into the technical part. Also, don't forget about the application of bitcoin and crypto in real life.

But I think you don't have to worry about the topics you will discuss that much, as long as they can understand the lesson because they are already graduating students and for sure, they already have a better understanding. Nice plan to spread the name and potentiality of bitcoin among your students. I think it will be better to teach them with basics first rather than giving lesson about bitcoin investment at an early stage. In this forum there is plenty of threads about bitcoin and its long journey. So i think you will easily get these by spending a little extra time here.

During continuing your classes you can introduce them with "Bitcointalk" and by using this forum they can enrich their knowledge vault by their own.

Teach them that Bitcoin is an investment. Like any other investment they should never play with money they can't afford to lose. Teach them to be aware, stay awake, and use common sense to protect them from the majority of scams. Tell them about the dangers of hype, pump & dump scams, and help them to become their own banks, and be independent from third parties and unreliable services.   

This is good, you can go ahead but make sure you understand about cryptocurrencies excellently before you will start to teach them, they only still need to know the basic aspect. In my suggestion, these are what should first be taught:
*  Telling them what bitcoin is
*  Telling them about wallets and and their uses
*  Exchanges, types and functions.
*  How to maintain privacy
*  Hodling, trading and the risky they may pose.
*  How Altcoins are more volatile and how they are more risky and their benefits
*  Try to let them know little about mining
*  Also about hackers, malware and crypto scam.

The fact that you want to teach about crypto, I'm sure you already know what to cover starting from basic to advanced.

As a side subject, try to cover the safety and ways to avoid scams. Put on their mind that there's no overnight profit in crypto and there's no such thing as a quick-rich scheme. Tell them also the time where Bitcoin experience a hard dump so that they will know the risks and not just being positive.

In that way, we can see if they will still interested to know more about crypto even knowing how risky putting money on crypto is.

Better to start teaching them the basics. More about history which answers their questions and curiosity with Bitcoin. This could give them excitement and clearly understand the reason behind of its creations. It soon they learn more if the discussion will continue and for them to absorb what you have taught. Surely it takes time but that is worthy enough of they got what they wanted to know.

I made a lesson plan yesterday and I would be teaching final year students approaching graduation in my neighborhood about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general and career opportunities involved in the discussion as soon as the lockdown is lifted.
