Ok all done, but... still having problems >_<

What i am doing wrong?

EDIT: ok, now i put in host just "us.coincatcher.net" but stays in Starting...

EDIT2: now i disable every firewall, it's ok now ;-;!

Try http://us.coincatcher.net

gui miner for scrypt likes url's to be in this format. Drop the stratum+tcp part gui miner configures this automatically. (Note in the lower left corner it says "use stratum yes") Also check your port number is set correctly.  3333 is the default port setting, most pools operate on different numbers. Other than that everything looks good.

Also ignore any comments above about gui miner being inferior. It's great for newbies and non techies alike. IMHO cgminer is much more complicated to configure correctly without a gui.

All the best,
BCPB

I had 2 of these cards that were little beasts.

I only used cgminer as the gui miners kept being deleted by my antivirus software. You sould be getting around 280kh/s with these cards.

You may be having trouble because the HD 5830 requires a specific legacy driver to be installed. I wish I could remember which version it was, as I had a similar issue when I first started mining a couple of years ago. While this card (HD 5830) can be used to mine bitcoin, I would not recomend it as it will take quite some time to make enough to even withdraw from pool. I would either look into mining an alt coin or investing the money you would have spent on electricty mining with that card, and purchase some bitcoin.
I hope this info is helpful.

Please dont mine Bitcoin with a GPU..

Look into Scrypt coins (litecoin)

Ok, how?

Download this mining software - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guiminer-scrypt-a-guiminer-fork-for-mining-scrypt-chains-150331

Create a online bitcoin wallet - https://blockchain.info/wallet

now create an account with - http://www.coincatcher.net/

now open guiminer then go to File>New Miner> CG Miner

Then enter the coincatcher pool address and your worker

Then go to gpu defaults and try 5850

Report back and tell me if it works
