Escrow is the best solution. Always use a trusted middle man when making deals on this forum (and anywhere else on the world wide web). This is a dog eat dog world. Scammers are everywhere. They want bitcoins and they will do, say, type anything on their keyboard to steal coins.

Fact is you didn't use escrow and you paid with bitcoins which as we all know is impossible to reverse. You can say good bye to those coins. They are in Vietnam now, feeding this criminal and his extended family.

Thanks for all comments , I have chat log and will post when I am be home.

well it doesn't matter if you are telling the truth or not , cause people here can't help you with that especially if the user doesn't have a trusted account here
max what can happen is getting negative trust  and that won't affect him if his account doesn't worth that much of money

IDK if steam can help you with this cause I'm not familiar with their ToS , some bitcoin exchanges seize stolen bitcoins and maybe this guy have some money in steam so with your proofs it may work

other than that I'm afraid the community here can't help you

wait, you actually sent this guy 1400 bucks with no idea who he was or anything about him? Where was he advertising he was selling the keys?

The username you listed for him didnt come up here, so im not 100% sure how you got from point A to point B on that one, but do you have the chat logs saying what happened?
I mean, they wont do you much good, but i REALLY want to see what the thought process was that involved you sending a perfect stranger over a grand.
