I have a good amount of btc that I'm very pleased with. I love btc. Are there any other coins you guys could recommend I buy next? (none of your comments count as financial advice)

Well, I need to know why you want to buy other coins if you love bitcoin, it's better to keep hold of Bitcoin and increase your bag. There are a lot of coins out there with their own utilities so if you want to buy other coins make sure to choose the coin that has a lot of utilities since it will become useful for long term. Don't ever FOMO in buying altcoins it can become your own grave so make a plan and make a target
There are many reasons for this, some investors think that it is a bad idea to invest all your money in a single asset and they try to diversify their funds, the only problem with this is that since altcoins move in a very similar way to bitcoin and they do so at the same time there is not much protection you can get from them, the other reason investors invest in altcoins is because they want to increase their profits, a difficult thing to do but it is possible to achieve good results if you invest in the right altcoin at the right time.

Curiosity is always there when you already start your journey into crypto, first it's Bitcoin that you wanted to invest but when you explore more, you will realize that there are alternative opportunities that awaits you, always do your research before making any decision,

like what OP said he won't take it as financial advise if he also considering other crypto project aside from Bitcoin then It's better to continue doing research to sort out which asset will be the best one that fits to his needs.
Research is the first thing that must be done if you want to get into altcoins. Because after all altcoins are still very high risk, just look at the top altcoins, they also still have the risk of bankruptcy or worthless assets because of some problems. It's different from bitcoin which is recognized by everyone and is king in the crypto ecosystem. Bitcoin is the main investment and altcoins are a backup investment that you can choose or not. The OP seems to be looking for what is really recommended, but we as crypto users also suggest not to believe what other people say. Do more research independently and multiply references so you will know what to choose other than bitcoin.

I think this is not the right time to sell btc, buy altcon.  Clearly bitcoin is entering a recovery phase and this is a great time to buy and hold bitcoin.  If you have a decent amount of money, keep it long and you will notice.  There will be a period when you will need urgently to replenish your altcoin portfolio, sell some btc to do it.  Always keep the capital in btc at 60% -70%

I want to tell you what you mean here. What does it mean you have a lot of bitcoins? How many bitcoins do you think you have? Do you know how much Bitcoin is worth? But I mean there are better coins to invest in besides Bitcoin. Like Ethereum, BNB, these coins are very popular to invest. But since you own a lot of money, you can buy and invest all these coins along with Bitcoin.

If you are willing for long-term holding, Bitcoin is the best choice for you. I don't think that you need to convert your some of Bitcoin to altcoins.
If you have other free money to add to Altcoin investment, I just think of getting into BNB or ETH. Because these two coins are in my mind. But, if you are willing to take a higher risk, you may need to seek new altcoins with a high market cap when in the low price right now.
OP had already got enough Bitcoin in his wallet. He is now looking for something that could give him an interest like investing in altcoins withing the intention of converting this Bitcoin but rather adding more assets. I believe ETH is one of the best choices but we can't deny the fact that new projects like AI are now on the trend which could possibly give us huge returns. OP might take a look at it but not to mention which one for at least he could make himself study and do the research of his own.

I think there is really no "need" to buy another thing by the way. Of course it is suggested to diversify your portfolio, and you could buy some other things as well if you want to, like I would suggest ETH very much, it's definitely a great coin, and definitely would suggest BNB and LTC as well, these are all very solid coins that could profit you in the long run, or maybe I am wrong and they will do badly.

But, one thing I am certain about is bitcoin, I will hold my bitcoin until I retire without a doubt, so there is really nothing wrong with just buying bitcoin and doing nothing else, that alone itself is actually a good idea and should be supported as well.
What you are saying is true, however once a person invests in bitcoin and they see the thousands of altcoins that exist they begin to wonder if they are not missing on some big profits by not investing in those coins, and the truth is that some altcoins do indeed pump and could produce profits which are no longer possible with bitcoin, but as we know those coins can also produce massive losses, losses which are also impossible to obtain from bitcoin too.

Curiosity is always there when you already start your journey into crypto, first it's Bitcoin that you wanted to invest but when you explore more, you will realize that there are alternative opportunities that awaits you, always do your research before making any decision,

I mean the best investment would probably be bitcoin since it was the goat of all of the cryptocurrencies and has the highest chance of getting a bull run in the future because of the supply and demand thing that is happening, so bitcoin will be in demand when the supply becomes low and that would increase its price in the future. To be honest, I would just stick to bitcoin, but yeah there's no fun in that  Grin. But still, you should invest that highest percentage of your investment in bitcoin.

Invest in top altcoins in the market, easy when the bull run comes surely most of the altcoins would skyrocket as well and that would probably be all of the top 10 cryptocurrencies so you could invest in ETH, BNB, XRP, Cardano, Solana, etc. probably 30% of your investment could go in this cryptocurrency. And then the remaining funds you could invest on low-volume coins that you think have the potential to skyrocket something where you could make a gamble a high-risk high reward investment like NFTs.

I think the question you asked is good, but if we look at the answers given, they vary widely. the answers given cannot be used as a guide on what Altcoin to hold for the best time in the future. I have noticed that almost all of the altcoins they hold are recommended by them, and in my opinion they cannot be used as a reference for trading or investing. My advice is, you have to be sure of your own analysis of an altcoin that you want to hold.

I think you should buy some coins especially Ethereum (ETH) what's more ETH is a top 2 coin in market cap and many people eth is bitcoinkiller and ETH has the ability to process more transactions at one time than bitcoin and many things eth is more superior to bitcoin. but even though eth has several advantages bitcoin remains the largest and most famous crypto currency in the world because bitcoin is king of crypto

There are many successful tokens in crypto industry like that are Ethereum which is considers as a second successful token and also a Matic is beneficial in terms of providing success to its users with maximum return. Although market is not trustable so be conscious in taking decision. So many people loss their money while investing in stronger coin due to their less understanding so understanding is also very important that how you will handle the token which you buy. the success totally depends on the users decision that in lower price does the buyer hold it for future success or sell it in minimum cost so its a very important point to think about it.

BNB is a very good coin to have right now because, with a large platform that supports it, it would be safe to keep it in the long term, and you can also get a discount price with market conditions. who are experiencing price drops, or who can wait until the middle of the month to obtain the coins.

Choose a good altcoin to invest, i believe that even in this bear market there are a lot of good altcoins to invest that is also waiting for the market to recover and if we buy those altcoins now and hold it till market back to bullish then i am sure we will earn, the best part of crypto is that there are a lot of ways to earn you only need to make a good decision to earn.
Every coin has a tendency to recover from a downfall on their market value but only few coins has the assurance to do so. If you are into altcoins which are good for long term investment, then engage with the big names in this industry such as Ethereum, XRP, LTC and such because these coins are always able to follow uptrend during bullish run or even with sudden recovery in this market in general. But new projects are also an option IF you are really that willing to take the risk. There are times wherein a project is promising but is still ending up to fail on their token sale especially if they won't have that much of a hype from this industry. Popularity of a project I guess, is the best determinant of a successful project even at this point, given that demand controls almost everything in crypto industry.

If you already have a good amount of BTC then why are you taking the risk of investing in altcoins.
You should be good with your coins. If you still decide to invest in altcoins to diversify your portfolio then you can go with ETH and MATIC.
Both of these are established coins and has decent ATH prices. So chances are they will go even higher in the next bull run.
It is natural for people to wish for their gains to increase, so even if the OP has enough bitcoin for their liking, they now want to buy some altcoins to obtain more profits in a shorter amount of time, and investing in some of the best altcoins in the market is a good option for them, I just hope they refuse to invest in some of the thousands of coins which will be released during the next years, because even if there is a small possibility of earning a fortune with those coins the possibilities are so low that it is not worth at all to take the risk.

If you don't know the reason, I take your thread as newbie.

My advice, just stick to "Major-coin" most of the time while the bull-run is started all-major coin will getting effected. Don't take some #MEME token or dog token, In-case to avoid you get the volatility and panic to sell the coin before the bull is started.

Just go to #MAJORCOIN.

If nothing else, i think some exposure to eth will be good. If you want to diverse more i'll give you some from the top of my head

Matic : (I am uncertain how good this is for long term after eth scales and there's already arbitrum but right now i would buy some)
Solana : gets a lot of crap but Vitalik thought it would be underpriced and that's enough for me.
Uniswap (UNI): is going to be even bigger after eth scales
UNUS SED LEO: There's a change this won't be mooning until i die but tokenomics are solid and if bitfinex gets their stolen cryptos back this will moon more then anything in crypto history.
Dusk Network: Still not having mainnet but they have build something really ambititious and new, plus team is full of actual geniuses.

The best decision would be to keep your money in bitcoin and if you are looking for more potential coins you can invest in ethereum litecoin and bnb. These coins will also keep your money very safe although none of the coins will guarantee you a profit.  But on the inside, the chances of your money being completely scammed will be very less then another altcoins. I am not giving you financial advice.  I am just sharing my personal opinion you must think twice before investing then invest anywhere

If you want my opinion (not financial advice, by the way).
Besides Bitcoin, Monero is a project that should be in any crypto portfolio, because it has a very real use case, it goes all in into privacy and there is a committed community behind it.

The only disadvantage I see with monero is its inflationary model, they can mine up to 0.6 XMR per block but besides that, it is a wonderful project if you keep in mind how privacy is becoming an issue as years pass. You should definitely DYOR on it and see for yourself what I mean.  Smiley

Bitcoin is obviously King but there are alts that you can make good money on. Ethereum did a better ROI than bitcoin in the last cycle. It could do so again maybe!

Many alts have the potential to do a much bigger x than bitcoin but there is much more risk involved than simply buying & holding the safest option by far, bitcoin.

Well i am glad you are pretty much aware of the risks of taking financial advice from others, but since you already asked, i'd answer based on my own knowledge. If you already have a good amount of Bitcoin, then what you should do is to buy other assets that are not cryptocurrencies, diversification is when you buy Bitcoin and other non-crypto assets. OR you could continue to accumulate more Bitcoin into the long term, there are quite a lot of people that have thousands of Bitcoin, but yet still accumulating, it is a long term sustainable coin and has a very secure network so there's nothing wrong in accumulating as much as possible, as long as you can hodl it safely and prevent loss.

First, if you start accumulating with Bitcoin then you decided good. Bitcoin is king here. After it, best altcoins to buy and hold are Ethereum, BNB and Avax in my opinion. These 3 have their own blockchains so that means there are many different projects and possibilities increase. All 3 are very useful in my opinion and nearly all exchanges have pairs with these. Other than these 3 I personally like and support Litecoin (speed), Monero (anonymity). I tend to invest.

That's a good decision to buy Bitcoin right away and then later buy another crypto for whatever you do with it. If you don't want to make some research for some reason like being lazy or whatever it is then I recommend buying cryptocurrency that is in the top 10 or top 50 but if you didn't like it then better buy crypto that are being used in transaction all the time.
well, the recommended altcoins are only in the top 10 range, and the altcoins below that have a higher risk than the top 10 altcoins.
I think owning bitcoins is pretty good, especially if we don't have a lot of bitcoins, then it would be better to focus on bitcoins. however, if the OP really wants to divide his assets into several investment places, then among the top 10 altcoins, the recommended ones are Ethereum and BNB.

considers sparing some money to invest in new projects that are gaining fame. take for example is aptos, had you invested in this coin where it was around the airdrops phase when the value was decreased so hard for the aftermath of the massive airdrop dumping you'd have made some serious returns since its value is increasing so high after that, simply because the project itself is good that people think it deserving of higher value.

You may consider choosing any of the top 10 altcoins in the market OP. I don't want to mention any of those but it was you to take a look and make your discovery. Many members are telling you about ETH and BNB, of course, they are growing and profitable investments long-term but I'm not sure if you are preferred to do it. That is why you should look for projects that could pass your criteria, in fact, choosing Bitcoin alone is already good enough. It was secured and can really be trusted over the others.
It needs to be mentioned that the top 10 coins in the market are always changing and there are even coins that got to that position only to be revealed that they were scams, so anyone thinking about investing in any coin needs to do their due diligence, which explains why ethereum and BNB are the two most recommended coins to invest in as out of the rest of the coins in the top 10 they are the coins that have gained the trust of the community over the years, while the rest of the coins generate still some doubts in the members of the community.

Hi all new to the forum here i also have Bitcoin & Ethereum as a base for my portfolio
i would research all the ISO compliant cryptos and hold some of those also
xrp xlm hbar etc
also LCX

Plenty other sectors which are showing some growth also
research:
metaverse
AI
Gaming

Cant go wrong with Both Eth & bnb which are used on multiple dex for fees etc pancake/sushi/uniswap etc
that users connect with through a number of wallets.
these can also be connected directly from cold storage too for added security.

I think its a good idea to also have a small portion of a portfolio invested in meme coins as the multipliers can be pretty high. Also adds abit of fun!
Especially at the moment many are not too far from their all time lows.
Good time to invest & diversify.

keep up the research

Ethereum, BNB and Algorand and this is a piece of financial advice based on their potential, if you want to explore and you are a fan of Staking then go for Betfury and stake your token in their platform I don't recommend you to gamble if gambling is not your interest, there are so many coins/tokens worth looking if you allocate funds for experimental project ADDMEFAST token is a social networking token and Graphene too, now these two is not a piece of financial advice but an experimental investment.

ETH and BNB.
With these two, these are the alts that I've got next on my stash after bitcoin. It wouldn't be a lot from my portfolio but I am making sure that I wouldn't miss any gains for the next trend.
Even if it won't be the same like those alts that are pumping like 100x but at least, this is no guessing game than of those that chooses altcoins randomly and buys it.

Just focus on the top 10-11 and that should be enough. I dislike XRP and Doge and stablecoins. Which leaves us with; BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, MATIC right now, I like Avax too because the creator is a Turkish guy and I am Turkish as well so that's a bit of a proud thing for me, but you do not have to if you don't feel like that, and SOL is literally at 11th so its not really that bad down the line, you can even go as low as DOT and LTC as well, both of which is great. So a quite good portfolio of; BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, MATIC, SOL, DOT, LTC, AVAX these ones that you can collect? That should be insanely good.
There are better coins above the 11th spot. It's only a shame that the top 10 is mostly occupied but a not so really good coins and there are three stable coins which I think a waste of slot. I think you are a bit biased about Avax because I am not really hearing a good feedback about this coin but I can't blame you much since the coin came from your own country.

@OP you already have a Bitcoin but that alone is already a solid investment. You can choose to pour most of your money on that coin and you will be just fine. You don't really need to complicate things when it comes to crypto investing. Plus some coins might only decrease your earning potential.

I totally agree, the only reason why I kept it in is the fact that they are listed pretty high even after the whole FTX thing, so I assumed that there was a decent enough community interest towards it. I fully expected it to crash after the FTX scandal, but it didn't and still kept itself high enough to be ranked highly, so maybe there could be enough interest to make it keep going. At the end of the day we are talking about something that is a bit risky, so if anyone removed SOL from their list I wouldn't really be shocked, I have a very small portion of it these days, might even get rid of it soon.

Of the many altcoins on the market, it can be difficult to find the right coin because each coin will want to increase its price when the market reverses. And that makes it even more difficult for us to choose the coins because they look promising. If you have more time, you can try to analyze the list of the top 50-100 coins to have more choices and diversify your assets. But again, it won't be easy to find the right coin and before you start investing, determine how much money it is so that it won't exceed your budget limit.

MATIC and Solana are the ones on my portfolio right now and I plan to make an investment plan around those two.  They're down right now but ultimately you usually buy coins when they're down and now when they're up anyway. Those two are relatively known as well so I don't think there's lacking info about it there. As for unknown ones with probably better returns, I don't really look for them, never really have the time to study up new projects and determine whether they're going to be something or not.

There are some promising coins in the market, you can look at the top 50 coins on the market cap and then look at the coins that were not pumped yet or had crashed hard but the developer is still active.  But in terms of specifics, BNB even though CZ is somehow in a hot seat atm, is still promising. ETH had already skyrocketed so I think the next big thing on the next bull run is BNB.  You can also check MATIC, and ADA.  For a lesser popular altcoin, you can check UTRUST and Biswap.

Know your target profit first but yes, it's a good thing that you are holding Bitcoin. You just have to make sure that you could have the patience until you reach your target profit. Other top and well-established coins are also good choices. Coins like Ethereum, BNB, ADA, LTC, and SOL are good choices because they have dealt with differenr market situations. These coins have a stronger foundation and resistance no matter what the market season is. Based on my experience, they are profitable enough especially when the bull market approaches.

If your satisfied enough with your current btc holdings, Most of us will certainly suggest the top 10 coins of CMC as they have less risky but can provide you a good enough profit long term. I currently have the top coins in my portfolio but the total of those coins don't match up with my current bitcoin holdings, this means each of them are only occupying a few percentage of my portfolio. Altcoin is profitable indeed but the risk of it is just way higher compared to bitcoin. The top 10 might not be bullet proof coins but they are indeed good.

Bitcoin is most profitable investment and if you interested with altcoin better looking for which one potential altcoin for holding, never forget with position standing from altcoin on coin market cap until how much transaction volume in daily day. I have recommended with several altcoin potential for investing and have chance growing up later.

Seems Ethereum and Binance coins are the best altcoin for investing with long or short term, although not guarantee can earn profit drastically in short time but both coins between Binance and Ethereum have good potential reach to higher price. Not worry with altcoin will drop drastically and invested there have bigger chance to earn profit.

It's nice you chose to get bitcoin as I must confess that it's a wise choice. You can consider holding some altcoin as you've decided to diversify your portfolio, but I'll advise that you stick with the first 30 projects in the coin market cap to avoid holding shit coins. Be watchful of the market trends and strategize on taking advantage of the opportunity that the market provides.

In my own opinion aside from Bitcoin there see many coins that you can buy and invest like ethereum and binance which is trusted enough. Because we all know these 2 coins are legit and it can make as satisfied because of their price as we all know that these coins have a higher value than other coins. Also if you won't more coins then you can pick up on the Top ten count in the market. So you can start buying.

ETH and BNB are coins that you can make as your investment.
But if you already own both coins and want to diversify your investment, you can look at the top 30 coins list for reference and start researching each coin.
DOT, Matic, ATOM, ADA, TON, FIL, ETC might be your next choice but you should still find out more about those coins.
But whatever our advice, you don't have to buy it right away because our suggestion might not work well for you so you still have to research to find the right coin.

The altcoin list you have provided is perfect, but I have a concern about Sol. As we all know, FTX is the biggest investor in Solana, and Solana's success during the 2021 bull run is due a lot to FTX and Alameda. FTX has collapsed and I really doubt the potential of solana without FTX support. The Sol developers are still working hard even during the last bear season, but they still haven't made any mark without FTX support.

Owning your own bitcoins is already a very good investment, but if you want altcoins then the most advice I'll probably give you is ethereum and BNB. the two altcoins are altcoins that are in the top position of all altcoins. the two altcoins also have enormous potential in the future when the bull market occurs. you can see the potential year after year when bull markets come around.

Well more Bitcoin if you're having a little bit of concern in the risk involved in the other coins aside Bitcoin. If you're really into alts, just go with ETH. I cannot say the same for BNB as I noticed other users mentioning it., since I am only suggesting based on my experience both day trading and holding.

Another option you could do is just wait for another dip for Bitcoin and just buy more from there. Good luck, OP!

The obvious next step is to buy some ethereum or BNB, both coins are good and during a bull market they will do really well once the altcoin season comes, so try to accumulate more of those coins and add them to your portfolio, now many newbies like to try their chances with new coins, but I will advise you against it as it is incredibly easy for you to lose your money this way and never recover it, and this mistake is very costly as not only you will lose your money but you will lose the chance to invest that money in good coins and earn money with your investment.

Hold that Bitcoin until next bull run, you can be more profitable with that.
With regards to altcoins try to get ETH, BNB, LTC and other tokens that can also have the future. What’s the level of your knowledge in crypto? If you are still a newbie I don’t suggest to buy any new projects because that can be more risky and you might regret it later on. Diversify as much as possible with only the good coins.

Go for L1 project like Aptos, Near Protocol, Polkadot, Cardano and so on. L1 project has less risk to die because they are backed by big investors. Also you will have a better chance of profit once new dapps trend rise again in crypto like NFT since this kind of dapps usually benefits L1 project. You will surely ride the trend when you invest on this project.

Second best choice are those L2 project like Optimism & Matic.

L1 projects are tough to die, but the problem is if they don't recover and bounce back and get replaced by better projects, you still lose money. Like Solana's case, even if FTX crashes, sol continues to exist in the market, but there is no guarantee that sol will rise and hit the old ATH, let alone the new ATH.
Investing in altcoins is same risk, when it comes to the most trusted Layer1 projects, it is none other than ETH and BNB. The battle of L2 is very fierce, I believe that in the upcoming bull season will be the fight of L2.

First, keep it as is. Keep those bitcoins that you're holding and if you're going to buy some altcoins, don't use your bitcoin on them.
That's a mistake that I've done before that I'll never do again. I still got some few btc and I'm not going to trade it for something else. If there are projects that I'm interested with, I'll just use my other funds on it but never will I exchange my btc for those.

ETH and BNB, are more potential next to Bitcoin.
60% for Bitcoin and 40% for mixed altcoins - that seems an ideal investment sharing. Yes, it was indeed great to not just focus on Bitcoin alone but also spread to some altcoins because for some instances that altcoins are even more profitable compared to Bitcoin especially when you are too lucky in investing hypes project but never I suggest this to you due to it was too risky.

First of all congrats on owning the best coin of all time but as they say diversification is needed in order to achieve a caliber of success enough to be a life changing event for anyone of us.I personally would recommend these 4 or 5 coins in general and as you said these do not count as financial advice,is just what I hold beside Bitcoin,

1.ETHW-EthereumPow-the wannabe substitute of the original Ethereum who forked away on September 2022
2.ETHF-EthereumFair-yet another wannabe substitute of the original Ethereum
3.ZIL-Zilliqa-I use this coin only for staking, meaning to get 15% applied yearly interest
4.RTM-Raptoreum-A coin which can be mined with CPU and that behind it are some of the best developers (personal opinion)

These coins are all mineable and I mine them.

Good to have Bitcoin on your wallet and this is one of the best decision that you can make in cryptomarket.

Now since diversification is a must, its also good to hold some altcoins for your long term goals. Considering the marketcap ranking, I can safely advise to have ETH and BNB on your wallet, all you have to do is to timing your entry with those altcoins and maximize the potential profit on any market trend. If you are still a newbie, top coins are safe to hold while you are learning, long term player also need a lot of patience because the market is very unpredictable.

There is such a bitcoin trading strategy, when its dominance decreases, it is necessary to transfer your BTC coins to altcoins. And, accordingly, on the contrary, when the dominance of bitcoin increases, it is necessary to convert all your savings into BTC. In this case, the safest coin for exchanging BTC for altcoins may be ETH.

That's right. Bitcoin is always the priority and main coin that we hold. Apart from bitcoin, I am also keen on Ethereum and BNB which I hold a little and planning to buy more this year and early next year. I also have my sights on Hedera and Syscoin.

Apart from these potential coins, I am also looking for very small market cap coins  I can invest for a chance to earn x10 or more since I don't think my main coins can increase to x10 in the next bull run. So far, Rebelbots and League of Ancients are 2 lottery coins I am watching and I might buy some soon.

As long as we are able to be in bitcoin then it is still bitcoin that must be added to your portfolio.
But if you really want something else, then maybe some altcoins are quite good, of course, like BNB or indeed ETH which is still very good, of course.

But indeed from a condition I still recommend bitcoin only if you still have more money to keep adding, especially since the current price is still very worth buying.

Bitcoin is a safe investment now, but there is one problem. If you have 10 million dollars and you buy bitcoin, then maybe in 2-3 years you will receive 200-300% profit, but maybe 400 or 500%. But if you have 10,000 dollars, then it is not profitable to invest in bitcoin. If you buy the right altcoin, then you can earn a lot more. I have Polkadot and Cosmos in my portfolio, Ethereum too, but I bought it cheaper. Ethereum is expensive right now.

After bitcoin, it's actually difficult to determine which altcoins we can invest in. But for now I have some ethereum and bnb, yes those coins are as far as I can believe will give me profit in the future, other than bitcoin. You should do your own analysis of which coin you are going to buy next, you can listen to suggestions from users here, but you have to do a re-analysis and decide whether you have the same thoughts about whether or not the recommended coin is worth it.

There is no need to buy other coins besides BTC if you don't have any information or don't know how to find other coins you can invest in. Just hold on to BTC and you'll be fine.

If you want to invest in other coins, you have to painstakingly analyze each coin, determine the purchase price you want, and hold it until the price increases. And it's not easy to do, especially if you buy the coins based on suggestions from other people. I can only suggest looking at the list of the top 25 coins and analyzing them one by one to find the coin you want. Don't just listen to other people's advice because it is your money, you have to be responsible with your money.

For altcoins, if you want to limit risk, then invest in top altcoins, if you are a risk taker and willing to take risks, then try new projects, meme projects. They are quite risky but have a high potential for return, if you are looking for x10, x100 investments then new projects can fulfill that need for you. But in my opinion, you should invest in ETH and BNB, these are 2 altcoins that will also give very good returns in the next bull season, if not more profitable than bitcoin.

Well with your Bitcoins you already have the safest and most stable of all cryptocurrencies in your portfolio. I think it is fair to say that a x10 of Bitcoin is not as likely as a x10 of an altcoin simply because Bitcoin already made several x1000 so the space for another x10 is just pretty limited in my opinion. On the other hand Bitcoin is very stable for a crypto.

So for your altcoin investment it depends on what you want to achieve with it. Do you also want to be relatively safe like with your Bitcoin? Then i would invest into big and already established projects like Ethereum, BNB, Cosmos and so on.
If you want to gamble, then invest into small and new projects, but of course you need to be aware that, it is totally possible that you lose all of your money then.

Aside from bitcoin, I think fantom and avalanche are good L1s to pick also eth.

Then for new projects watch out for sei network and sui network. These two might be a good projects to look forward too.

I am holding avalanche, fantom, evmos and some ron tokens mostly L1 tokens that can be staked over time.

There are too many options to recommend, to be honest. Ethereum comes first to mind, all other coins are harder to recommend, I'd suggest you to make your own research.

And maybe just like you and me, there are so many that's why he is asking us on what coins are best and what we could recommend as it looks like he is more of a open minded as he says he will not treat it as financial advise.

But for me, besides Bitcoin, the obvious top coins like,

1. Ethereum
2. Binance
3. Solana

That's the list for me. Best of luck on which coins you are going to invest long term.

I have ETH, BNB and ADA on my list.

Other's might recommend low cap coins as a good buy, but for me, those are solid projects to begin with, they might not give a huge returns as compare to others, but still the risk is not that big and but on their past performance, they will be one of those solid project that will make a new all time high when we hit the bull run next year in my opinion.

If you love BTC, it will stay with it because love will give you a lot of happiness and it will be given BTC when the price goes back up in the next bullish and if you still want to have an altcoin, that is my question whether this action requires you to sell what you love BTC? If yes then it's better not to have Altcoin but if you buy Altcoin not from the money from selling BTC then do it and some Altcoin is still good enough to have ETH, BNB or Dogecoin the rest you have to start learning yourself.

Currently the market condition is so bad that there are many tokens or coins that are standing below fifty percent Moreover, the value of all the coins went down a few days ago and now it is rising again little by little Apart from BTC, there are Ether BnB matic etc. If you invest on them, the possibility of loss is very less The potential for profit is very high there is money Now they should invest maximum amount on any token or coin So that after a few days it is possible to achieve many times profit.
