I have known Bitcoin and other currencies since 2014, but I did not move a finger. I did not benefit from anything. I mean, I did not invest anything now. I am serious. I liked this forum a lot. A long time ago, I decided to start investing, even if it was a small amount, in some other currencies. Perhaps it would go up significantly and make profits. Perhaps I would. It is late, but the opportunity is always there. I know that many people suffer from what I suffer from. Many people now talk about Bitcoin, but I preceded them in knowing it by ten years. I want your advice for me. I have high hopes for digital currencies. What do you think?
Invest and forget about your past of missed opportunities to invest in bitcoin since 2014. Had it been you been among the early adopters who got to know about bitcoin then, you would have fallen among those who sold their bitcoin early or misplaced their seed phrase as of then not to putting much interest in it.

What I want you to do now, is be thankful to have got to know the true meaning of bitcoin creation by Satoshi and its importance on earth to have it as a digital currency. There are millions of people who I know that you are better than, who don't know about Bitcoin. What they know about Bitcoin as, a get-rich scheme

Your English was a bit difficult for me to decode. If you knew about cryptocurrency as early as you said and did not take advantage of the opportunity at that time, well, it's never too late as long as you realise yourself and need to make amends by investing a few funds in crypto, not just any crypto but in bitcoin.

Then you don't need to worry much about the opportunity you wasted but rather focus more on what you can do now that you have picked up the courage to invest in it.

On the altcoin side, I will advise you to be careful about which altcoin you choose to invest in, as altcoins pose a higher risk than bitcoin. You might lose it all if you make the wrong choice while trying to chase profit.

Make a decision and go for it. It is never too late to invest in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. You have missed the opportunity once, it is better not to miss it again. Go for BTC investment whatever the amount you have. Try DCA if you don't have cash in hand. The predictions are that the BTC will touch a new ATH in 2025, so this gives you an ideal opportunity to try your luck in BTC. If you are looking for a bit cheaper coins to invest then I suggest you invest in ETH and SOL for short-term profit. Your ultimate goal should be to earn profit from altcoins and invest it into BTC for the long term.

Sol has the attribute of LUNA.

Stick with top ten if you creep in.

No, you're not. Why? If you really have hopes for digital currencies like Bitcoin, you will never wait 10 years just to have interest instead, you invest it that time without a doubt. I won't like to say you're late but I would say that you miss the best opportunity already. Just think that if you start accumulating Bitcoin in 2014 and do the buy/sell, you are not just rich but a wealthy person already. Unfortunately, it is too late to open your mind and see the benefits from Bitcoin which it indeed regrets on your end.

I think you need to change the way you think about Bitcoin. Build some trust towards Bitcoinand certainly bring you positive results.

As I understand it, what OP means is that he has now realized the potential of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and he has started investing in them even if just a small amount.

The fact that he missed out and didn't invest in bitcoin years ago isn't too surprising because no one knows what the future holds. No one could have predicted the price of bitcoin could go this high, I bet you that even Satoshi would be very surprised at the value that bitcoin has achieved today, let alone any of us.

Furthermore, it is never too late to invest in bitcoin. OP's journey to getting rich from bitcoin will be more difficult than 10 years ago, but that doesn't mean he's out of opportunities.

Youve seen a lot of events, updates, changes, and other ways to earn in cryptocurrency bitcoin already shows its potential in those times, if you still doubt Bitcoin it's all up to you if you will risk this time or you will regret it again for this next coming halving. Most people are afraid to lose their money but no investment will assure you an easy ROI, so most of the time there's a risk. You still have time if you will deal it with because the halving is coming now it's your decision whether you will ride or not this time.

I have known bitcoin and other currency for some years now,but I never invested in this coin reason been that I have no idea about cryptocurrency and also how to invest in this coin then, and I keep seen so many people testifying on social media on how they make a huge amount of money from there investment,so I decided to enroll myself in online class were I can learn some investment strategies and how this cryptocurrency works and also to know the profiting coin to invest, so as to avoid losing of money.

better late than never. However, this is a lesson for you, that to get big profits, we need to be agile and try the opportunities that exist. We will not change just by looking. However, by trying, we can find out what opportunities exist. If it's 2014, then you missed a lot of opportunities. However, based on experience, this opportunity always repeats itself every time a halving occurs or has occurred. Apart from that, you can also still take advantage of altcoins which are currently quite affordable for starters.

Only invest in altcoins when you have experience and are willing to accept the risks it brings you. Don't invest or give investment advice in altcoins to newbies just because you think they are cheaper than bitcoin. That is neither a smart investment method nor a way to get rich quickly. Focus mainly on bitcoin and only a small part on altcoins to get some practical experience before you decide to invest more in altcoins.

I am also investing in altcoins but I would not recommend anyone to invest in it because of the risks that not everyone can bear.

chances are always ours if we know what we are entering and this is what this market can offers because like what you said in 2014 is a long time but the perfect time to enter this market and I regret not having opportunity of knowing this but lucky that I am here 2 years after at 2016.

Like you said you have know bitcoin since 2014 you didn’t try to make attempt of investing, well nothing is wrong at all, this is your best time to quickly start investing because we are on bull run and now the price is down already, so any investment you make now is a good thing and more profit will be achieved, bitcoin is approaching 100k so the best option is to start buying coin as you can afford, must people also didn’t start investing early when bitcoin is cheaper to afford, so I see no to wait just start  it will be the best decision you have made.

in the time bitcoin was introduced many people lack interest for investing in Bitcoin but they always motivate or having interest in Bitcoin whenever they hear that the price of Bitcoin is going high but the time the price of Bitcoin is falling nobody will decline interest to invest in Bitcoin and this is one of the things that makes some people to lose for their investment in Bitcoin because they don't have Focus and they don't plan ahead of future you can because of the price of Bitcoin is going up now and the invest after sometimes the price of Bitcoin continue to depreciate so that is why is not good to invest because of the price is going up have a target as crypto investor and the invest you will surely make a profit

I regret to see that you have known about cryptocurrency for a long time, but you haven't involved yourself for a long time. When will you enter? You have seen a couple of bulls and bears, but still, you haven't learned from your past. There was a golden time when you could accumulate cryptocurrency very cheaply. But you just watched and are still watching. However, don't think much about the past; take lessons from the past and move forward. By following the DCA strategy, you can accumulate cryptocurrency. So when you can hold it for a long time, you may make decent money.

Oooh sorry for that, you wasted a great opportunity which you had then. I will like to ask why you didn’t invest in bitcoin or other coins then? Is it that you don’t have the financial capacity to invest, or you don’t have trust in cryptocurrency then, so you decided to ignore it? But hope the coin which you are holding is currently bitcoin, since you said you have started investing. But if you started investing long time ago you will have been in

You mentioned when you knew about bitcoin, but you never mentioned when you started investing in bitcoin. I am not even sure if you are holding any bitcoin, but I don’t have anything to say about that, you can do anything you like with your money, but the best thing is that make sure you start investing if you haven’t really started yet, so that you won’t end up regretting later in the future again that you didn’t invest when you were suppose to invest.

You are not alone OP in knowing Bitcoin like several years ago but did nothing or never purchased even with a buck of your money. That's a normal story to see everyday when someone confesses that he/she had known Bitcoin for a while but then, they never invested because they might reason out that they have no money or they were skeptics before. Well, you can't do anything with that anymore as we're living in the present, it was good days when you've known it before and you've seen how cheap it was together with other cryptocurrencies but then you did no action with it. The problem is in you or with how's your situation back then, so, it is not too late at all. You can DCA and start your journey until you cannot see the price anymore today and we've got some discount now as the market corrected.

I don't think you know much about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general since that 2014 you claimed, but I will just conclude that you have been hearing about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency since those times you claimed, but I don't think you have the time to study it and understand it properly if you have started your investment in bitcoin over a long time now. I believe that if you have good knowledge about Bitcoin, you should have invested even a small amount of money.

Even me Before I came to this forum, I had been hearing about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, but I never took the time to understand them properly. But after meeting a friend who taught me some basics of Bitcoin and introduced me to the forum, when I started understanding Bitcoin, I was seriously eager to invest in it no matter the amount, and that is how I started investing in bitcoin.

The truth about bitcoin investment is that you can start with any amount of money you have. Don't ever try to wait to have money before you can start, but I am not advising you to invest the money that you may like using anytime. If any problems arise, you will surely be a loser in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies investment; only invest the amount that you know you may not use in the near future, and that is the only way your investment in bitcoin will go smoothly.

I've been in the same boat as you, I came to know about Bitcoin when it was priced around $200 or something, and back then, I was a student so I didn't use to have a lot of money that I could invest, and honestly, I didn't know much about it, how it is used, where to store it, how to buy it, etc. I know that I could do more research and find everything out but I didn't have enough time or money back then.
So I can relate to you about that, however, there is nothing you can do about that and you should focus on the present now instead of living in the past. Bitcoin has already gone up very high by now, but you could make an entry earlier when it was below $30k if you have been around, or you could buy when it was $18k during the bear market. For now, you will surely need to wait, I believe.

It's never too late is something, or a sentiment I often share with my clients.  It's never too late to get in to something, or to start saving towards something.  It took me a year or perhaps a bit more before I ever bought bitcoin.  I discovered it around 2013-14 and ended up studying it for a whole year plus before I bought in.  I think we are just getting started so there's noting wrong with perhaps DCA'ing (dollar cost averaging) in, if your budget allows for it.

I first heard about Bitcoin when it was $40. I feel foolish now by not investing at the time. But it's never too late to invest in Bitcoin since Bitcoin will reach $1,000,000 per Bitcoin in the future.

Well, we might be far from that, but of course, it's a long process with this kind of crypto market scenario throughout the years to come, suddenly we will find ourselves there eventually because of how the crypto market works. Now that we are talking about countries making bitcoins as their legal currency, other companies as well using it as their option to pay their workers, I mean what else can you do? this is the future now and we are heading towards a new ATH this year finally we might cross the $100k+ mark if the bitcoin's price won't stop rising in the upcoming months.

I think there are a lot of people in the same situation as yours. I've personally also known about cryptocurrencies, not much to be honest back then in 2015-2016 but I knew they existed and had a general idea about what they are. I also started experimenting with buying them and trying to use them on different things. But I did not take them very seriously, not enough to start investing in them.

You shouldn't regret anything that happened in the past, especially something that didn't actually happen, which is you investing and hodling Bitcoin back in 2014. You most likely did not have enough experience into investing and knowledge about cryptocurrencies back then, so it was I impossible for you to invest your money into it. It seems like today you are in the same situation. If you've known Bitcoin for so long, then you already know it's history and from now on it's going to keep increasing for the next 5-10 years at least. If you don't take a decision now, 10 years from now you'll say the same thing you posted today.

I want your advice for me. I have high hopes for digital currencies. What do you think?
Bitcoin has developed and has traveled in the crypto market for more or less 15 years, since it was first introduced by Satoshi Nakamoto, who is still mysterious and legendary, Likewise with Bitcoin users from time to time, it remains a mystery, those who have great faith and hope in Bitcoin, those who are successful in investing and trading Bitcoin, mystery becomes reality.

Bitcoin has seen big changes over time, from 2012, 2016, 2020 and now it is predicted that there will be another big change on 04/05/2024, this is a sign that anyone who knows Bitcoin well will have a good impact on themselves, Likewise with you, in the world of investment it is never too late, as long as you have confidence and the opportunity, that is the best thing for you to do, remember Bitcoin's growth continues to develop over time, hesitate to step back, dare to continue going further straight forward.

I have known about Bitcoin since 2015, but I was also not able to invest early. Mid 2017, I managed to accumulate a decent amount of BTC, ETH, and other cryptos but have sold majority of it last 2019, then afterwards I again started to accumulate up until now. For sure it is not always you who have regrets not investing early but if you would be realistic, you haven't invested because of a reason; it could be circumstances or just being afraid to lose which is just normal. Even if you managed to invest, how sure are you that you will be able to hold for years? Without selling any amount? It is not that easy. Keep in mind how volatile the market is and how unstable its adoption is, on many countries. It is normal to be scared or worried sometimes because money is involved; something we need on a daily basis.

You can always start again as long as you know what you are doing. You have said it already that you have high hopes for digital currencies, then prove it to yourself and not to other people. If you have the means to invest then feel free and don't rely with other's assumption. Make yourself ready with the possible outcome.

What do you think?
You have said well and your case is not so different from many people's case, which includes me. I knew Bitcoin a year earlier than you and missed so much due to the lack of interest. I'd thought so painfully about this miss but I do not like to remember it anymore. I would have made millions of dollars easily by now if I had shown interest and taken that risk just like I do now, it is never too late, and the future of coins and tokens is still bright for us to gain from them. Although no one who missed buying Bitcoin at a very low price would enjoy that grace again, it is gone and gone for good, but if one can understand how it works so well, money can still be made, especially if they are good in speculation.

This is better than being pained by the lost money, better smartness is necessary in this regard. One has to know that Bitcoin is heavy already, investing in it at this high level may not be the smartest idea. The coin will surely move up but we have to ensure that we put safety first, and the plan on what to want from it has to be taken seriously. If it is all about the immediate money, one may not gain much anymore with Bitcoin, because if Bitcoin moves x2 again until its next bearish season (about $147,000), then the coin has indeed tried its best. I don't even know if it can reach that feat, so the amount to make henceforth can't be encouraging. Your plan on altcoin is a good one as well, you are diversifying and there are still many of them with good projects, and are still low. You may want to plan around them and get the best from them even as they move in multiples of their current price within the next year.

The opportunity in cryptocurrency industries is always there and the Early you start the better for a good profit return business and the opportunity have knowing Bitcoin since 2014 until up to date has to be a millionaire by now if you can hold and take action. Therefore, taken action now is not too late and Bitcoin business is a profitable business of you can hold for a longer time.
The OP was not fortunate to have invested in Bitcoin in 2014, when he could acquire it at a much lower price than now, but it is not too late, in my opinion. There is still time for the OP to invest in Bitcoin now because we believe Bitcoin has a bright future and will reach at least $100k after the halving, so if the OP is interested in Bitcoin, he or she can invest now because we anticipate a massive pump in the future.

You had an account on this forum or you were a visitor who liked the forum? Asking because your account is new. Anyways, what I think is that if you do not invest now, and you continue crying that you’re late, you’ll have even more regrets in the next 10 years. If you look at how Bitcoin has been going, it’s been breaking its ATH for so many years and the ROI is in millions. So, unless you think this is the highest Bitcoin can get, then you should invest in it. Don’t take this as a financial advice.
Yes his account is new and looking at his stupid post I don't think he knows about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from 2024. so I find it hard to accept his story as true. But I don't even care how true his story is because his story doesn't motivate or demotivate me in any way. so I always try to avoid such stories as much as possible. Because many people try to merit hunting through the stories I have seen before

Is it? I didn’t think it could be for merit purposes but if it is, he failed at it because this kind of post isn’t merit deserving at all. Though I found it suspicious which is why I asked him the questions about the account, I hope he answers me though so we know what happened to his previous account and why he sounds like a newbie (for someone who liked the forum a lot).

For many individuals out there, the concept of cryptocurrency has been known for quite some time now. Despite this awareness, numerous people have been unable to invest in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies for various reasons. It's important not to let this situation lead to feelings of depression or frustration. Instead, it's wise to continue educating yourself about the cryptocurrency space. By doing so, you'll be better prepared to make informed decisions when you do have the financial means to start investing.Avoid the common mistakes that many people make in the cryptocurrency industry, which often result in loss of funds. Remember, there's no specific time when someone cannot invest in Bitcoin. As long as you're willing to hold your investment for the long term before seeking profits, you can still benefit from entering the market.

If you prefer short-term gains, it's advisable to enter the Bitcoin market when prices are low, particularly during bear markets. A prudent approach to starting your investment journey is to begin with a small amount using the Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) method. This involves purchasing Bitcoin on a regular basis, either monthly or weekly. However, it's essential to hold onto your investment for the long term before considering taking profits.

in 2017 many people are aware of BTC and crypto already but are very much skeptical and uncomfortable investing in BTC since they couldn't afford as 1BTC is very expensive already. the problem is that people only buy BTC when the market starts going up and the media are reporting it but when th price plummets again people leave without expecting that price could go up after years.

Op there is nothing to advise here instead you are to advise us because you have known bitcoin since 2014 with other cryptocurrencies and that also might be a very big lie from the op. Bitcoin was created in the year 2008 and was launched in 2009 and it was the first cryptocurrency in this 22 century. And Ethereum was the second cryptocurrency that was planned in the year 2013 and creation started in 2014 and it was launched in 2015 so Op which of the altcoins are you talking about that you meant or known in the year 2014? If you want to learn bitcoin just come out plan to tell us that you don't know anything about cryptocurrency and you want to learn. We all know why your are here so you don't have to lie.

And if you want to learn then you have to read other people threads and also browse more things about cryptocurrency or bitcoin online. Read and make comments more than creating threads. That is one the best way to know more.

Ohh that's a good decision mate now you are investing in crypto which is pretty good enough and about your experience that you have a doubt before. Then now you are investing then all I cans ay Is that there's no late in investment . Maybe delayed but not late cause one thing for sure everyday is a beginning of our journey so it's better to invest yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Honestly I do regret today why I didn't knew Bitcoin before cause maybe I buy some coins and hold until date then maybe I got more profits.

The other reason why a lot of people are hesitant to go into this market because of the notion that crypto and bitcoin are only being used in illegal activities. But when big companies like Microstrategy and countries like El Salvador are getting into bitcoin, I guess, a lot of people changed their perspectives towards crypto.

For people that will explore their chances in crypto, they should not be driven by hype or what is being said in social media but they should do their own studying of the projects they want to explore with particularly those coins they want to get a hold of.
Illegal activities have occurred long before Bitcoin was launched and even fiat currencies that have previously been used by most people are often used for illegal activities. In principle, illegal activities occur and are carried out by certain individuals and I never agree that Bitcoin is associated with these events, because if people don't do it, it certainly won't happen.

When people's involvement is based more on knowledge, there will be many ways for anyone to minimize risks. Relying on hype for a project they like can actually be risky because they don't study it properly, so it can cause problems when it is done and in the end they will experience losses.

All these years,  you've have a solid idea about the market but ends up not doing the necessary things to push forward in the market, let's keep building ourselves to be independent. Investing in digital currencies, it's straightforward and I've witnessed how everything ends up playing out to our favour, not relenting but giving in my best to achieve this purpose. Cryptocurrency will always rewards those that have acknowledged and taking it serious. Crypto have become one of the promising sectors to depend on because it keeps steady flow of income and also the results are improving.

If you know Bitcoin in 2014 and you refuse to buy back then, don't tell me you didn't buy in 2017 crash to $3500? We had a crash of the post Covid peak from $12k to $4,000, don't tell me you didn't take that opportunity too! Well, such is life, not everyone likes to take risk which you did because even your account is new if we are to judge by the activity of the forum.

I like your motivation but hold up, you know Bitcoin is trading right now above $70k which is above the previous all time high. That's a big amounts of money you can mention to anyone and wouldn't say otherwise, I don't think Bitcoin will do what it has done in the past because let's assume Bitcoin should settle at $100k above, a 10x from there is going to be $1M and that's going to be massive, if Bitcoin ever get there my friend there is going to be problems coming from different angles to crash the price and the downfall from sell off wouldn't be good.

The industry is growing especially for bitcoin which has found such wide adoption across countries. Initially people were doubtful because they thought this was a speculative asset, but as time went by people began to realize the advantages shown by bitcoin. Every action we take definitely has a risk impact and that's not just talking about bitcoin, but wherever we are and wherever the investment we make definitely has a risk impact.

As long as we can minimize the risk to a smaller one then there is no harm in starting because there is no success without risking it. Bitcoin will not be a risky investment if someone understands how because bitcoin has a repeating cycle that can bring someone to the stage of maximum profit. That is why knowledge is needed so that the investments we make do not result in losses due to wrong decisions.

Bitcoin is a good investment to go into but you have to understand that investing in Bitcoin you don't need to expect profit so quick as you invest in bitcoin.  Some people make the mistake of not understanding bitcoin very well,  thinking they can just start investing and be having good profit in bitcoin. The cryptocurrency market can never predicted to tell when profit can be gain in a specific time. Just have it in mind that bitcoin is a longterm investment which you can depend on the profit or expect it just from your imagination.

You can always invest in bitcoin at all time but one thing you need to know as you invest is to invest with the  money that you can afford to lose. Because you didn't have interest for bitcoin since when you know about it, don't let this mindset make you to feel as if you have missed a lot not investing in Bitcoin in the past.  Their is still more opportunities to gain from bitcoin not investing longtime before now does not mean their are no more opportunities to gain from bitcoin.

If you are experiencing the success of bitcoin since 2014 then it was necessary for you to hold  bitcoin from that time. Now its not too late but there is a big difference in price between 2014 and 2024 and your profit will also be different from that time.

I think once a person identify the success rate of one thing then should not be too late to invest in that thing because we don't know that what will our financial status in future. Don't wait more otherwise touch will see that missing such opportunity was your big mistake.

It's good to know that you have been following cryptocurrencies since so long but then why didn't you invest in it earlier ?
Is it the fact that you didn't believe in it or you didn't have any money to buy it.
Whatever be the case, it's good that you have started investing in it now and plan to hold it long.

The market is a big cycle so there are always going to be opportunities to invest in the market, in my opinion, you could still invest even at this time this when an all-time high is already hit, but it is just going to be very risky for sure since there was no proven risk that Bitcoin is going to increase its market price to the All-Time High meaning we dint know if the market price is going to continue increasing because there will be a huge possibility that the market is going to drop soon for correction, instead of increasing so that you could make a huge profit.

Personally what I would do here is probably a Dollar Cost Average even at the peak of the market, I mean there might be a huge risk but it wouldn't really going to hurt if you just going to invest a small percentage of your income on Bitcoin, but It might be better to cut your DCA money as well to probably seventy thirty rule, you could just start saving your 70% in the bank as a saving where you could have access and use it at any time you wanted, then you could just use it in the end so that when you already save a fair amount of money, you could have a liquid price or money to invest on Bitcoin or cryptocurrency just incase the market drop a huge percentage you have a ready funds to invest again.

You should already forget about the past since it is already too late to regret not buying Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in early 2014 because that is for sure a huge amount of winning if you are involved on that, But there where nothing you can do now, the only thing that you could do is just to wait until the next Bear market in order to reinvest again, its never really too late in the market, there are a lot of ways and strategy that you could use anymore in order to earn a huge amount of it.

In the past 10 years, you didn't really know about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency; you only heard about it from an acquaintance or friend, watched it, or saw it on social media platforms, and I think that's the truth. And two days ago, you registered here in the forum, and you liked this platform a lot at once?

Well, anyway, if you are really interested in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency, start investing because time is running out, we don't know what will happen tomorrow, and don't waste time.

It's simple. To know and to do, are different sides of a coin. Whereas just knowing removes the cover of ignorance, doing makes one the wisest.

Even after being aware of Bitcoin and a community as this since 2014, one should endeavor to at least learn to a certain stage and then compare that knowledge with whatever sense is made here and then try out a few times on their own or with a friends help to acquire some BTC in a wallet, even if it is not according to a particular strategy of investment.

It's not too late to start investing in BTC now, as long you have a source of income, have a good internet device, can read and write, then you will do just fine with the discipline to abide by a strategy of investment like the DCA strategy, and stay updated, until almost a decade when you can withdraw, diversify or reinvest the funds somewhere. Am sure it would be worth a lot.

that is what has affected a lot of people They had the idea about Bitcoin for a very long time but decided not to invest, Some people have their reasons and I know a lot of people will be looking at the money and most will not see a prospect in bitcoin at that time. and that is the same thing that happened in the early days of Bitcoin. This forum has opened more of our eyes than anything else. In this same forum, people will encourage you to buy. exactly, people overlook things too much and I have my plans since there is still time to buy. I wish I had known about this when the price was still down it would have been much better than now.

You have known about Bitcoin since 10 years ago but did not invest in it, it was your big failure. If you had invested in Bitcoin for a long time then you must now understand how you would have profited. But Bitcoin will not stop here. In the future it will be much more valuable and reach prices that we cannot even imagine. So there are still plenty of opportunities to invest in Bitcoin. But if you invest, you must invest for the long term. Don't panic when investing in Bitcoin. If you panic, you can't profit from just Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency

Not everyone had interest then and Bitcoin was not as loud as it is now. Even if I were serious, if anyone had told me about Bitcoin, I would not have bothered, I have imagined if I bought Bitcoin around 2009 and the seed phrase to the wallet was somewhere else. Grin Nothing like that since we lost that opportunity. We have another opportunity now to buy or trade because I think I prefer trading to holding for now. I am sure those who did not invest then will have it in mind to invest now.

Fortunately you still have an option, whether you buy Bitcoin when the price is still cheap ($71K right now) or you wait and Bitcoin price will be higher than $71K?

Frankly, I suspect people who didn't buy bitcoin when they heard about it years ago wouldn't buy it now because they would think bitcoin is overvalued and risky. These people will largely continue not to buy bitcoin and regretfully watch bitcoin grow. They will then continue to complain to others that they knew about bitcoin years ago but they missed it...Because in my opinion, if they really felt regret and wanted to correct past mistakes, they would have learned about bitcoin and bought it without hesitation. I believe that someone who previously missed out on bitcoin and now feels interested in bitcoin will spend more time learning about it and making a decision rather than relying on the advice of strangers.

If you want to invest then you shouldn't take much time because you can still invest but it would have been better for you if you could have invested bitcoins at the end of 2023 then you would have had much more success with bitcoins today. But as the day goes by the interest of investing in bitcoin is increasing more and more people are investing in bitcoin if you want of course you can still invest it is not too late to invest so if you want very quickly you can invest in bitcoin. If you delay in hiring Bitcoin B then it will be delayed for you if time takes longer you will be delayed in investing if you want to invest of course you invest too fast and in investing you need to invest with patience and long term plan.

It's your bad luck, you came to know about Bitcoin in 2014 but didn't invest in Bitcoin. If you could have invested in DCA method since 2014, you could have made huge profits now. However, there is still plenty of time to invest. If you can invest in DCA method from now and hold for long term then you can earn lot of profit in future. We cannot predict how much the price of Bitcoin will increase in the future. But hopefully it can be 1 million dollars at some point. If you want to invest then invest in DCA method from now and must hold for long term.

Ouch! That hit a spot. I heard of Liberty Reserve during my early days learning Forex Trading. Then it was a bit difficult funding trading accounts from my country and that prompted some guys to fund their accounts through Liberty Reserve. Even as far back as I heard it then, around 2010 or so, I'm still shocked to realize I never came across any article on Bitcoin. I guess it could be that I wasn't spending much time online then like I do now. How time flies. I wonder if LR is still operational now.

If you have high hopes for Bitcoin, then there is no need to ask for opinions on how to go about your Bitcoin journey. It's like seeking permission to go and eat when you know the importance of food. There's always time to hop on the Bitcoin train and begin no matter how long you think you've missed. Maybe you didn't invest in Bitcoin back then when you knew it because somehow you were expecting it to be a shit project that will cave in because I know that back in 2010 it's price was barely up to a $1 at $0.30.
Over the years it's price had beaten all odds and now it's the best crypto currency to have in your portfolio.

So what happens to the ten years mate? For me yeah a little bit late in terms of prices because we all know that things are different way back 2014 and at the present especially prices. But still we can invest through DCA and I know most investors has one goal and that is to maximize profits in the future.

What benefits do you have from knowing about something 10 years ago compared to those who know about it today, and what you have in common is that you didn't do anything then and you are doing the same thing today? It is completely meaningless that you knew, just as it is completely meaningless that you are now crying over spilled milk.

Wait another 10 years, and then come to this forum and open another topic like this, only then you will be able to write that you have known about Bitcoin for even 20 years. Maybe you were expecting some kind of different advice, but if you've been indecisive for so long, what are the chances that you'll continue to talk a lot and not do anything?

As you sow you shall mow. If you didn’t move a finger, then the result will be zero. It was your choice and this is your reward.

I did not benefit from anything.
In fact, knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies turned out to be useless for you, because you could not use it in any way for yourself.

I mean, I did not invest anything now. I am serious.
Even now, after realizing, you still haven’t tried to change anything.

I liked this forum a lot.

Take the first step. Stop marking time in the same place for decades. For there will be no movement, there will be no progress.

In ten years, will you post this topic again?

Do you remember liberty reserve?

I remembered it with sadness. It was this digital money that I chose and neglected Bitcoin. I have been making money on the Internet for a long time. I had a choice between Liberty and Bitcoin as a payment method. I was stupid and chose the wrong thing.
Therefore, OP, You are not alone; many people knew it and did not believe it. But there is always time to fix everything. I don’t want to encourage it, but I think that at this time you should make the right decision.

I think that it's okay to miss some opportunities and that instead of focusing on things one didn't do, it's better to move on and focus on something one can actually do in the future. Bitcoin has grown a lot over the years, but I think it still has a long way to come. Investing in it, bit by bit, can still pay off another decade from now, I believe. That being said, I think it's important to focus on Bitcoin specifically and not place much hope on altcoins, which are generally useless, unreliable and too risky as an investment. Bitcoin is at the top, and investing in it is safer. I have high hopes for Bitcoin, but not for cryptos in general.

Well, here is the thing.

In the future, many people will look back and still say the same thing about this year, that they are here in 2023 when bitcoin was trading for 15,000+ and they had the money then but they just don't feel like buying.

Wait till $200,000 BTC, and you will see many regret stories on the internet, it's always been the case with investments, people relent too much, they won't listen to investment advice and they will later regret it big time.

If you feel like listening to me, here is the truth, think about the future, not the present, it's not too late, and right now is still early, the world is changing, and crypto will be the most visited space by humans in the future, do it now that 50 percent of the world population isn't into crypto yet.

You think it's late? The numbers aren't even huge yet, wait till half of the world's population comes into crypto.

Guess, if you have invested at 2014, now you would made many profits from the Bitcoins. This is not only the story of yours, but many have done this. I myself have encountered Bitcoins long time back, but I also didn’t take it seriously and hence saved from getting the maximum profits. If you ask me now then definitely I would say to invest in the coin. Bitcoin have risen from nothing and becoming a high valued digital asset. So yes, it has lot of capabilities I must say.

It is better to take the bold step and hold the bull by the horn instead of not learning from your mistake last ten years. You have known bitcoin by 2014,but you don't have any bitcoin in your possession. So it is better that you figure out how you can use to accumulate bitcoin based on your discretory income.

You can start buying now if you have the money available. Using DCA will be the best method for you now that the price of bitcoin have reached a new ATH, so that you can buy bitcoin regular weekly or monthly with ease. No time is late to start your bitcoin investment journey, but the more you delay on getting started, the more you lose the opportunity of buying cheaper, and making a good profit over time.

there is no better advice than saying go invest right now but since it seems like you already had invested i guess the only thing to do now is hold and make sure that you hold your coins well

it doesn’t stop with investing because there are still risks that could make you lose profit so even after investing there are still steps to take the price is not a constant increase as it will also go down so make sure that you know what to do when such times occur

there is no point in crying over spilled milk, years have passed and you did not invest but now you already did so forget about that time and focus on your next steps

You have known about Bitcoin since 10 years ago but did not invest in it, it was your big failure. If you had invested in Bitcoin for a long time then you must now understand how you would have profited.

I bet you, if you were OP, someone who knew bitcoin 10 years ago, you wouldn't have bought bitcoin at that time either. Bitcoin was nothing at that time so we couldn't blame anyone for not being interested in it. Also, even if you have the opportunity to buy it cheap, what guarantee is there that you won't sell it immediately after making a profit? You also see that even many bitcoin programmers and developers sold their bitcoins at that time, so how can ordinary people like us keep bitcoins until now? Just like now, many people believe that bitcoin will hit the $1 million, but how many people can hold bitcoin until then, including you?

If you had invested in Bitcoin for a long time then you must now understand how you would have profited. But Bitcoin will not stop here. In the future it will be much more valuable and reach prices that we cannot even imagine. So there are still plenty of opportunities to invest in Bitcoin. But if you invest, you must invest for the long term. Don't panic when investing in Bitcoin. If you panic, you can't profit from just Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency

Investing in bitcoin is never too late. If you want the event of bitcoin at a low price, then a sudden bull run will never happen again. Yes,  there are still bull runs happening in bitcoin. You just have to find your way of knowing what and when is the right time to invest in bitcoin. You can do a DCA, wherein you buy a portion of bitcoin at the right price at the right time and then wait for the price of bitcoin to increase, just as you brought bitcoin.

An example of this is what is happening right now in bitcoin, where it already surpasses its ATH. Take note that this is only a preparation for the actual bull run, meaning we are just accumulating bitcoin assets, and due to demand, the price of bitcoin keeps on increasing, so is investing too late? No, because if you can take the risk and enter the market, you might experience bullishness and earn from it.

I know this forum late 2013 and joined early 2014, but never really started buying until late 2015. Like you, I believed in cryptocurrencies but never bothered to touch it because my fear of the risks outweighed logical thinking back then. I wasn't earning much before, and had my investments fail, I would have just wasted time and money. Nevertheless, I still followed my instincts and began putting in small amounts every time I receive my paycheck. It's never too late to invest in bitcoin. You can still create a sizeable portfolio through DCA. You don't have to buy coins outright if your wallet can't afford it, but you can buy little bits and pieces and it adds up eventually.

10 years is a long time to not do anything. Hopefully this time you get the initiative to do something about your positivity towards bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

Investments should be based on one's own wishes and not on the advice of others. Since you have known about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies since 2014, you should invest now without delay. If you started your investment from the time you mentioned you would have become a billionaire investor by now just investing in Bitcoin.Today Bitcoin price touched another new all-time high Bitcoin price is currently above 71 thousand dollars. If I had been connected to this forum since 2014 like you, maybe I would have started my bitcoin investment since then.

It's dangerous and risk if you invest in bitcoin when you have not know the usefulness of bitcoin, even though you know bitcoin know that should prompt you to invest in bitcoin, what you should consider mostly for bitcoin investment should be the understanding of the methods of how bitcoin works.....some people today who castigated bitcoin when the awareness of bitcoin was started, they are same people who praise bitcoin...but my advice is that, don't invest in bitcoin because someone make profit out of it, learn and invest so when you loss for your investment you will not blame anyone.

I want your advice for me.

I just want to say that it's never too late to get started with bitcoin and cryptocurrency. We are still in the early stages and opportunities still abound for us, what matters is how long you stay in the market, not how early or late you enter. Because even if you bought bitcoin 10 years ago, I bet you wouldn't have been able to hold it until now. And to be able to survive the longest in the market, you need to have knowledge about it, so I recommend that besides investing, you should spend time learning and researching the market carefully. That way you can survive and make a profit from it, but if you  invest only because of Fomo, then sooner or later you will lose money and leave the market.
We have to understand the basics thing of cryptocurrency mostly bitcoin before we invest, many people today hate bitcoin because they lose for its investment, and the main point that makes them not to lose for the investment is due they are unable to learn and understand the procedures...actually their is no time you come into investment that is not proper, because its a continuous process investment, the thing is we should know the proper time to enter the market of cryptocurrency.

There's no point saying you've known Bitcoin ahead of others if you failed to believe in it. Or you probably just heard about Bitcoin but not really know it or understand it, because if you did know and understand Bitcoin back then, you would have bought some.

As others are saying, we all buy Bitcoin at a price we deserve. You can go ahead and buy now. It's not anymore as cheap as it was in 2014 but there's still a lot of room for the price to grow. Personally, I'm convinced that $100,000 will be reached within the year.
op should know that bitcoin price is rotational and no time you start investing in bitcoin that is late, what matters is to know when bitcoin will fall and when it will rise, so that you will not invest at the wrong time, depending the kind of investment the person or the investor what to establish..theirs know them you invest in bitcoin is useless.. according to you, if you notice bitcoin know is not late
because price continue to spin neither to upper level or a lower level

I have known Bitcoin and other currencies since 2014, but I did not move a finger. I did not benefit from anything. I mean, I did not invest anything now. I am serious. I liked this forum a lot. It's not a crime to not know about cryptocurrencies in 2014 or even today. But it's definitely a serious thing to think about if you haven't invested even after knowing about it and after seeing upward momentum bitcoin has shown since then. I personally had a nice desktop PC back in 2009 which I could have used to mine Bitcoin at that time. But I didn't and that's when I missed a chance of being a millionaire. But I don't regret it and I jumped right back on when it was feasible for me.

My only advice is that you need to start investing in Bitcoin and also you need to do dollar cost averaging by investing in various timestamps and dates. That will give you a better buying price.
the mistake many who coming now to cryptocurrency especially bitcoin alway make is that, at of the time they know bitcoin they will not invest but after some year and they are still hearing that someone is profitable in cryptocurrency or bitcoin investment  it's the that many of them will think of bitcoin investment, so in above my explanation I have said it that theirs no time you invest in bitcoin is wrong time.

If given a chance of learning bitcoin back in 2014/ for sure i have invested in 2017(at least 3 years after because like me I have just started learning in couple of years from yours and just started investing in 2019 in which almost late from the 2017 bull.

You have known Bitcoin since 2014, of course at that time it was a good opportunity for you to invest in Bitcoin because the price was still cheap and of course people who have known Bitcoin since then and invested until now have certainly made big profits. But of course, now it's not too late to invest in BTC because the Bitcoin halving hasn't started yet and the bull run is still a long way off, namely the bull run is predicted to be around 2025.

If you like this forum, I'm grateful and indeed this forum has many benefits because here there are many people who are great in their knowledge about Bitcoin. If you are interested in investing, of course you can start now or you can also wait for the Bitcoin price to correct. However, there are also many people who use the DCA system, but you need to remember that investing in BTC is certainly not free from risks, so you have to be prepared for the risks and only money that you are ready to lose is worth putting in Bitcoin.

I think many people have known about BTC longer than you, but they were not at all interested in Bitcoin until now and actually you are a lucky person because you are interested in investing in BTC.

This thread solely reminds me of myself. i read the whitepaper of BTC in 2008 by never moved an inch. it's crazy how I started calling a friend Satochi in 2010 but never thought about it.

Then, 2013 came and I was looking for opportunities to acquire free BTC which I was told i could get after performing online tasks. To my dismay i didn't take that seriously either 🤦🏿

The sudden surge in 2016 broke my heart from $8k to $28k. i thought it was all a hoax that it going to encounter regulation issues but it never did. fast forward to today, it is going for $78k and still haven't gotton but i am more than determined that this time around i will get mine.

You don't need our advice, you need to make decisions for yourself. You got to know bitcoin in a year when many of us would have liked to have known about it, and you did nothing. Just as you have done nothing about it to date other than open this thread. You're on your own.

Your very correct advice with you not setting your heart towards it is waste of time ,you hear people say about opportunity come but once  mist time is reality, it's very risky not to take a risk, what you did not make happen will not take place advice without decision is like pushing a horse to a River but can't force it to Drink water.

I have been around, since before 2014 and I have pulled the trigger on buying bitcoin, before it went crazy. Unfortunately I got greedy when the price went above $18 000 per coin and I sold the majority of my cheap coins.

I have bought some more coin since then, but at a much higher price, so my profit on those coins will be much lower. The most valueble thing I have gain is not money, but rather a wealth of new knowledge.

You shouldn't need to ask about the investment potential of Bitcoin, if you have known about it for the past 10 years. You can see how the value of Bitcoin is increasing and its adoption is increasing - this proves how great Bitcoin's potential is in the future. It's never too late to start investing in it. Just start with a smaller amount and invest regularly, try doing that for the next few years and you will definitely be able to get a profit from your investment. Moreover, you already have high hopes for it, so it shouldn't be difficult for you to start investing in it.

This was out in 2010 or sometime around then. Back in 2014 we had plenty of exchanges like MtGox, Poloniex, Bitfinex, etc.

As for the OP, congrats on coming back. Sure it would of been wise to invest in bitcoin in 2014 for $200 or buy the ETH ico around the same time but we all have investing regrets.

I mined so many ETH all thru 2016 to 2017 and sold it all when ETH broke $20. Later in the year it went to $1100. No way could I predict that since when I mined it, it was $10 or so. $1100 an ETH made no sense and most never held until then.

If you haven't started investing yet, do it now because if you keep waiting, you will never move to start. Verify your finances well and make a portion of the money for investment or to meet your living needs, so that it won't cause financial problems when you want to invest. You have known this forum for a long time, but you haven't learned to understand current developments so you are left behind in terms of age on the forum because now there are many people who are involved in investing even though they are younger.

It's never too late as long as you want to do it and all you need to do is make a responsible investment portion. Some people don't have a stable source of income making it difficult for them to invest but there is a way if they want to do it. Study the DCA strategy and do several studies to bring you complete knowledge before investing because there are many people who just force it without knowledge.
