Okay, thanks a lot! It's now working in the right direction.

How long does it normally take until the balance finally shows up in Litecoin-QT?

So far I can only see the last transaction on the right hand side.

But the expected balance is not showing up, this stays at 0.00 LTC

Close Litecoin-qt and paste the file into the data directory, open litecoin-qt and there's your wallet.

Hello everyone,

I am starting to save my Litecoins offline with private keys.

Trying this out I succeeded to create the needed .dat file with the private key and it's secured with strong password.

Although I removed the .dat file from the PC (PC 1), the balance of my wallet still shows the initial balance.

And when I copy the .dat file to another PC (PC 2) with Litecoin QT installed, I am not sure how to get the file into QT so that it shows the balance here on PC 2.

How can I load my private key into Litecoin QT on PC 2?

Thanks a lot for your help!
