Simply, It's just a bitcoin wallet in a form of paper. The certificate is just to authenticate that the paper is loaded with BTC so that the person who will buy it or in case this paper wallet will change hand overtime can guarantee that the item is legit. In my experience, Paper wallet don't have password. It only contains private key to access the wallet address. So losing or destroying the paper wallet are the only danger for having this kind of wallet.

I also found a website where this kind of paper wallet can still be bought, although I'm not sure if you can choose the amount to buy or if all wallets have a fixed 0.01 BTC.

At first i thought that it's like some bank account, like you can just show yout certificate and able to get your bitcoin. But then, seeing you don't know the password, it means that the certificate won't help if you don't know the password huh, is it just a formality or what?

The encrypted private key is printed on the paper, the long string starting with "6PRV....".

You should be able to import it to any Bitcoin wallet. Since it is encrypted, it will ask you for a passphrase, which you can find by scratching the scratchable surface on the paper (the area with creator's signature).

You might be able to get a little more that 0.01BTC for this in Collectibles section:

I've just put the address on an explorer out of curiousity. It has 0.01 BTC. Not bad if you are able to recover them and not too bad either if you aren't able to because you have forgotten the passphrase or something. It isn't a life changing amount. I will follow the thread to see how it goes. GL!

You'll need a passphrase or password to be able to access the private keys and the funds in it, do you remember having one when you got the certificate?

You can import the wallet into a non custodian wallet after decryption. You would need to confirm that the software is compatible with the version of the Bitcoin address

I have updated the OP. .. I was able to scan the private key using exodus wallet but it's requiring a password to be able to access the funds..
I think that's integrated in the paper I received, I just don't know which part to look.

I guess I bought it in 2017 just in our favorite forum. I was checking my personal messages history but I could not find any conversation.
I just kept it in my vault and just check now and found a little balance on it.

Hopefully there's a video tutorial so it's more easier for me to understand, lol.. sorry am I too demanding?

Hi guys, I was checking some of my stuff I purchased in the past, I have silver coins and this one PAPERSAFE BITCOIN STOCK CERTIFICATE.

I check the address and found out there's a balance on it, now, my question is, how can I withdraw it?
Hopefully someone would help as I like to take out the funds if possible.
