be constructive or S.T.F.U
sorry for your loss !

so you googled > buy IPTV Subscription, your bad luck directed you to the scammer topic, you said to yourself, ok this guy has been selling this shit since April 2018 ,nobody said anything about him , he must be legit , you contacted him via email / whatsapp  , and we all know what happened next.

i tagged that user long before you came to his thread, too sad , you were probably a guess who could see NOTHING , so i'll gladly take this chance to remind theymos AGAIN about showing guests some kind of trust feedback > https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.49341267

I'm sorry that you got scammed. It always sucks to lose money in such way. There was few red flags about this seller - red trust ratings, locked self-moderated topic, no positive reviews. But probably you visited that thread without being logged in and didn't saw red trust and you also wasn't aware about other things which makes that seller untrustworthy.
And now forum is full of fake IPTV sellers posting from Newbie account. I'm not sure is it same person or no. They have different websites, but their writting styles looks very similar. They don't deliver IPTV playlist after payment like happened to OP. Or they are selling fake stuff - they have collected thousands of channels from public resources. Half of these channels don't work at all or stop working few days after payment was made. So, it's better to pay few $ more, but buy IPTV from trusted provider who gives good service.
  • Hide to guests threads posted by users with negative trust
Good suggestions, it should be implemented ASAP because many unregistered users get scammed on Bitcointalk, but I disagree about this point.

Newbies can't see trust and therefore don't know someone is a scammer, even if flagged by several DT users. They don't even know there are stickies if they get to the sale thread directly from Google or another search engine instead of navigating on the forum.
Bitcointalk must really implement one or more of:
  • Show trust to non-registered users
  • Hide the whole Marketplace to them
  • Hide to guests threads posted by users with negative trust
  • Unlist Marketplace threads from search engines

Theymos has apparently decided to do this but hasn't implemented this after a very long time. Unfortunately guests will keep being scammed almost every day until this is done. My sticky thread seems to help a little but it's far from being a solution.

₿uy / $ell ..oeleo ;(
Another proof that newbies do not read the stickies.
There on the top of the Digital Goods was what you needed to read before you buy/pay anything:
Avoid auto-buy links, mainly locked or self moderated. Register before dealing
Now it's too late.

From now on. READ THE STICKIES in every section before you do whatever..

Signature space for rent
Perhaps OP was guest since this is his/her first topic on the forum and just joined today. That's why negative feedback's wasn't visible to him/her (IMO). Or OP wasn't aware about trust network. However sorry for your loss. That's the reason why trust rating should be public. And selling something on locked thread really harmful. There was so many red flags, but since OP new he/she just missed that red flags.

Hope others will learn from it and op will be careful in future. Try to use escrow before you deal on this forum.

This scammer is stupid but he managed to scam you, sorry for your loss but "we learn from the mistakes."
There are a lot of negative signals regarding this account:

 - S/he do not accept Paypal or E-transfer.
 - Searching for email "[email protected]" in Google shows you a lot of scams.[1]
 - Searching for that number in Google shows many frauds.
 - The reasons cited above.

There's a few reputable IPTV sellers here, but I'm not sure why you went with that particular one especially as there's some huge warning signs with this specific user. The fact that he's a new user with only a few posts should immediately make you cautious, or at the very least use escrow. He also has multiple negative feedbacks. As hacker1001101001 also said, a locked thread and self-moderated which is also another huge warning sign as people are prevented from issuing warnings. Any person should be doing their due diligence on users before they trade with them and spending a few seconds to click their trust and read their feedback would have saved you here. All I can suggest is you learn from your mistakes and always do research on sellers and use a trusted escrow if you're not sure.

Sorry about the ordeal. I don't know whether you had logged in before checking the post but you have to be very careful with your money. This is the internet and more or so the crypto community whether scammers are lurking everywhere looking for someone to scam.

Please move your thread to Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Trading Discussion > Reputation

You should have first noted the trust ratings of the users to check his legitimacy. Huh

He had two red trust for the same thread by two DT members.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2006108

He is selling on a locked thread, which basically indicates he is a scammer.
