I don't know if you can do that. I guess you have to check the passphrase on all your coins manually. It would be nice though if it was really possible what you suggested.

It would be really difficult to check them without having any idea which coins are related to which backup. Considering all the sides it is almost next to impossible to do so. Hopefully someone will have any idea about it and will be able to help you with it.

I also have no idea about passphrase on coins/wallets that may use a seed. I think you should discuss with someone expert. Let's wait for the right information.

The passphrase is in your personal criteria and you solely have the information about it. If you set up the same passphrase for every coins you might find it difficult to know every information with the single pass, but if you have deferent pass, then you might have what you want.

THX for the answer, no its not from 'something illegal' its just that i am bad at writing things down so i saved some pictures in icloud but didn't name it after the wallet/coin so i can see seeds in my list but no correlation with a coin name :/
Also i remember setting up some monero wallet but using that same seed for other cryptonote coins too but no idea which ones ^^  Sad so i guess there are some lost coins now hm ?

Reading through your initial post, I knew first hand what real problem was, which was not writing things down appropriately. Apart from writing down, you need to label them with their names accordingly. I have duplicate notebooks with everything crypto and well labelled for each wallet et al. Unfortunately, there's no software to help you decipher which passphrase is for which. Hope you learnt your lessons now and do better henceforth.

Where did you get those? You have a lot of backups/seeds but you have no idea where you can use those? how is that possible that you got it? AFAIK there's no software and way to find it out on what wallet provider it belongs unless you've tried.

The way of knowing which wallet it belongs is to try to retrieve it with each wallet. I hope that you never got that with something illegal because that is stealing if you are not the sole owner of those seeds.

What I can piece together from the nature of your problem and the best solution I could give based on it is to search other platforms for the information you're looking for. What you need is detailed information regarding the matter in order to match the passphrase with what it belongs to. Hopefully after a little digging around you can find what it is you're looking for.

Hey guys,

i have a lot of backups where i have no idea for which coins or wallets they are,
is there any way to check the seeds on all coins/wallets that may use a seed and notify if there is a balance on some of the addresses? Especially for cryptonote coins as they have no blockexplorrer to check balance on address Sad
No Idea how i could do that, would be very nice if someone else did something like this already.
Thanks and cheers
