Managing 200 properties is a lot and I don't think your customers would like the idea that you are only accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment. Why not try to make it only as an option since if you are thinking that accepting only Bitcoin would attract a lot of customers think again, most of the vacation goers out there seems to bring a lot of cash and cards and accepting credit/debit card payments are also ideal for your business. Also there is another service just like coinbase which is named bitpay they have similar ways on accepting Bitcoin as payment and converting it to fiat via bank deposit, just giving you another option that will be best suited for you.

I found a thread that may be of interest to you, although it does not go into all the specifics you may need, but that could be a good starting point: ¿Puedo cobrar mis productos o servicios en bitcoin? (in Spanish, which I believe is your native language). You need to tie not only the platform/system to receive the payments, but also the tax/legal side of things ("nuestra querida hacienda").

I have read in this forum that Bitpay is not a good solution and coinbase.bussiness is the other alternative that a friend recommended me.

I had a look to see if there was any hotel booking software that I could load using Softaculous, but I couldn't find any. I did find this site which compares 7 free CMS though.

btw - I may have some good .com domain names if you need one. Smiley

I already have a system called https://www.avaibook.com/ running in my website, where they send the apartments availability to homeaway, airbnb, booking, etc. But they are not currently working with cryptocurrencies.

I imagine that I can use iframes of the calendar in each property to show the availability, and then:

a- put a space where the customer enter the ammount of €/btc, giving him a table where he can calculate the ammount depending of the entrance and arrival days, the month, etc.
b- find a system that is currently working with btc to offer the availability and prices in a fast way.

After all of that, I usually need 1 day for accepting or not the payment due to last minute bookings by other ways in the apartment.

You don't have to receive the money in fiat, but you may need to convert it to fiat to pay suppliers etc. You can receive Bitcoin into your wallet, and only convert it when you need to make a fiat payment. In view of the current relationship between Spain and the EU, and the overhanging collapse of DoucheBank and the Euro, you may feel that a holding in Bitcoin is a useful security. However, you should be aware that the price of Bitcoin is extremely volatile, and highly manipulated, and subject to users and speculators emotions.

Those are my reasons to ask which are the best methods where I can insert available and not available dates to be booked in each apartment (like a calendar), connected to a converter of btc to euro.

You'll need to first of all learn of the pros and cons of accepting the bitcoin as payment based on its volatility and the possibility of incurring a loss
Bit accepting the bitcoin also which has a possibility of rising at any moment could also be a sort of good investment for you,and for your busines
You could store the bitcoins in your wallet, that way they still remain digital(bitcoins),and convert only when necessary(probably when you wish to pay suppliers as you said)

I think there are automatic alternatives to that, making the conversion without my intervention.

Hello there  Wink

It makes me so proud to be here in bitcointalk speaking to all users and being part of this incredible community. I am going to write about my main idea and please let me apologize for my bad english because it is very unclear sometimes. English is not my main language  Undecided.

Let's put in situation.

I am mainly holiday rentals manager of almost 200 properties in one of the most booked places in a country of Europe (Spain).

We have bookings all the year but more in the Summer.

I have a little idea about accepting bitcoin for the bookings but I would consider which is the best method to go into this market. I have listened about coinbase.bussiness to receive the bitcoins converted to fiat in my bank (this is my big obstacle, I have to receive the money in fiat because i have to pay in fiat to the owners for the moment).

I am looking for:

- A clear protocol? to receive the bitcoins converted to fiat in my account/bank/wallet.
- Sugestions.
