Reading topics here in bitcointalk alone won't help you understand bitcoin in my opinion. Look for articles elsewhere.

Here are some good compilations of articles:

A Beginner's Guide to Blockchain Technology: https://www.coindesk.com/information/
BITCOIN RESOURCES(by Jameson Lopp): https://lopp.net/bitcoin.html

I'm new to bitcoins. I've red a lot of topics here, but still, I never clearly knew why do you actually need blockchain to use bitcoin and how it influences bitcoin? Also, how does mining actually work? Since I got a video card, would it be any profitable to mine today without special cards?

Please bounce over to youtube and watch a couple how to and what is video on bitcoin mining and ledger technology.  It will help your understanding immensely.

I read an article says that mining bitcoins is just like real world mining, you need to invest energy in order to extract these coins. Those miner’s computer with high specs and stable high speed internet connection needs to solve complex mathematical problems, and once it solves them – new Bitcoins are generated and awarded to him. The blockchain is like an open ledger of all Bitcoin transactions. It permanently records all transactions and the amount in each wallet and address and the history of all transactions. Blockchain could also be described as the platform that Bitcoin functions on.
