I don't mean to be rude but what you have written, how do you expect us to believe everything you have written and the link you posted.
Things do not work like that here. We can trust you since you don't have a reputation and you are just like the random newbies that come here to brag about there services when it is obvious that such service is fraudulent in nature.

You need to make us believe you or else you one will take you seriously. You are only a tourist and you are telling us to use a product when you have not use it for quite a long time to know if things can change hand or not. Maybe you can at least give some confirmations.

You mentioned "newbies" in your post. Thank you. Please look at the whole thread and you'll find confirmations from guys with higher status/rating.

P.S. Newbie's posts matters!

It's not our behavior but the way he presents it, so you are backing the reputation of the guy? I still want to read his answers about domain, web server, and the use of telegram we have so many members here with bad experience using telegram that I'm sure you have an idea of what we all mean.

Yes, i‘m backing his reputation- Telegram Trade‘s with him was legit - i only communicated with him on Telegram

Thank you mate! Hope to make more deals! All the best!

And why would you register a domain in a Russian company and not in a Thai company if your service is dedicated to Thai currency?

Maybe because it very cheap to buy in there and easy to make it disappear  Grin Grin Grin

but seriously if Op user is from thailand it would better to buy the domain and pay the host server in near Thailand or in the Thailand itself so the latency is minimum

*seems fishy tho

I don't think he can answer that if your service or product is targeting or located in a particular country you have to use the domain extension assign to that country in the case of OP it should be .th, so you're visitors will know who you are servicing and you will be index in the local search engine for that kind of service, you can opt not to use a country domain extension if it has nothing to do with service or product.
I don't think this guy lives or a native of Thailand, he just targeted Thailand visitors.

1. I suppose that it is easy to disappear from any domain provider if you have this goal Smiley
2. I like ".com: more than any others but thank's for the idea about local search engine features - I'll use it too.
3. I didn't think about latency and my IT guy didn't informed me about it - general speed of internet is not so high here that's why you will not feel the difference of hosting/server location.

Hey to all, so I'm in Thailand and I have used someone service to convert crypto to cash, and it was so amazing and fast!
You don't need to recommend one of the crypto exchange services to other people, who want to travel to Thailand, don't be surprised if you travel to the ASIA region in particular, anyone and any country including Thailand, Singapore, indonesia, philippines etc, you easily find services that provide crypto to fiat, like crypto to Thai baht.

For me Thailand, not a country where you find exchange services like you are looking for a needle in a haystack, there are many exchange services in Thailand that provide crypto to baht.
For example: Coinmama, Bitkub, Kraken, Satang and many others provide crypto currency that can be directly transferred to the bank.

Thailand, we are no stranger to crypto, there are many crypto to baht services you can use there, not only my globimmo.net is fast, the services I mentioned above are also super fast.

You're totally right - there are huge amount of services offering exchange of crypto to thai baht (BANK TRANSFER). The problem of many tourists that they don't have Thai bank account and they are unable to use these p2p centralized services. My services (globimmo and usdt-thb.com) providing users with cash all over Thailand. It is the difference mate. Thank you!

Checking your site there is no TOS and FAQ to read or a license to verify that your service is legit and when I hit exchange now I am redirected to a telegram channel, now I don't want to trade in the telegram, this is a peer to peer transaction where the safety of the user is not guaranteed.
Checking on Whois your site is not yet a year old but you claimed to be in operation since 2018

Previous name of our Telegram service is Antrbit that was launched in 2018.

And why would you register a domain in a Russian company and not in a Thai company if your service is dedicated to Thai currency?

I have this feeling that you and OP are operating as one I don't have proof yet but this is the kind of scheme that is likely to scam people.

We didn't receive a license yet - it is the process of many months and about $100k for license and for the lawyers. It is our next step.
First listing under the @Antrbit name was made in 2018 at globimmo.net The web page usdt-thb.com was registered in 2022 via Russian hosting that was used by my IT guy who made this web page for me.

In person meeting is available in Ko Samui, Thailand. Other locations - via cardless ATM withdrawal.

USDT-THB.COM and link in the OP message is the same service. I'm the owner of both.
Crypto is legal for holding and buy/sell here. You can not pay inthe shop with crypto directly but we can cover all your costs with fiat payments on your behalf.
Thank you.

There is no story on that post, only short testimonial, and I already visited the link it only lead to an Exchange, nothing look like a story post on that link. What I expect is he told where he spent his crypto, which places in Thailand accept crypto as payment, how he use the crypto, .etc. Not just a couple of sentence and then an exchange link. If OP use exchange then it means, he wasn't using crypto to travel, he exchange his crypto into fiat then he paid his travel expenses with fiat.

Good day! You're right. OP used my service to exchange crypto to fiat. It is an option to receive fiat via ATM (cardless ATM) or another option - that we covering your expenses in Thailand using fiat. In the last case you just need to transfer crypto and we will transfer fiat to the account you mentioned. It means that OP didn't use his fiat (from his card of cash) that he bring with himself - he covered all his costs using crypto only.

There are just few crypto-friendly places in Thailand but it's amount is growing.

Look Man, I read the title of you thread, and I got excited that I might find some good stories of travel and crypto, but here I am, reading only a couple of sentences from you and then just post your link. You disappointed me and probably many other people.
I am actually from neighboring country of Thailand, I visited Thailand once, but don't have any experience related to crypto. I would be very interested to travel to Thailand only using crypto, If you are actually traveling to Thailand share us some actual story, please. Otherwise you are just a liar.

Hey. you need to read the full thread and you'll got the stories from guys who used my services. Thank you!

Why do you want to hijack the OP thread and promote your exchange USDT-THB ? OR maybe you and the OP are the same people and trying to promote the exchange by telling the stories  Grin

Tell me if crypto is legal in Thailand in the first place  Huh If crypto is illegal in Thailand, all these stories stands no where.

You should not be disturbed by the large number of negative replies and members' doubts because Newbie accounts cause many frauds in the forum, so it is natural for members to be careful.

As a new service provider, you must first gain the trust of the community in order for your service to succeed, so you must provide all the guarantees that make you gain the trust of the users.

Positive reviews by trusted members who have tried the service are very important to gain trust.

Thank you for your clarification and advice!
For sure - I'm asking some users to write a comment here. BTW not all of them want to do it and most of them are newbies (as me) on this forum. We will succeed for sure!

Hey guys,

I've been in Thailand for couple months now and used usdt-thb.com's services several times and here's my little review of how it's been working for me so far.

First of all, I'd like to say that I'm currently in a situation where I'm able to get USDT but incapable to withdraw it to any of my FIAT bank accounts through Binance, Coinbase etc., because I'm unable to verify myself without travelling back to my home country.

I did a bit of googling and first found this website: https://www.globimmo.net/en/bitcoin/koh-samui/5cad9116214a69443e00000f.crypto and got a telegram contact of Ant R from there. After a short discussion with him I was in belief that I'd be able to do F2F exchange and I was like cool, I'm able to get some cash once I travel to Koh Samui (at the time I was in Bangkok).

When I finally ended up in Koh Samui I did google about the services again and ended up finding usdt-thb.com instead of the previous website. I contacted them through Telegram and learned about the cardless withdrawal instead of F2F exchange, this got my alarm bells ringing because we all know how much of scamming there's going around in the crypto space.

Well, I looked into the cardless withdrawals and I was like fine, let's at least try this one out. I started with a 1,000 THB withdrawal, something that I was willing to lose in case it'd end up being a scam. This went smoothly, didn't have any problems there. However, knowing that I'd need to pay gas fees etc. I had to increase the amounts I'd be cashing out at once in order to make it somewhat reasonable when it comes to extra costs. I increased the amount from 1,000 THB to 10,000 THB and did several of 10,000 THB withdrawals - all of them were fine even though I had this scam feeling in the back of my head pretty much every time, especially since couple times it took like 10 minutes for them to send over my cardless withdrawal details.

Ever since then I've withdrawn bigger amounts at once in order to save in gas fees and to save my time as well. In total I've withdrawn around $7,000 worth of THB through the service and they've gained my trust. Will definitely use the service in the future too.

And yes, they've asked me to leave a review in this thread which I'm happy to do since I've been able to save my FIAT and spend USDT without a hassle, and continue being here in Thailand! Smiley

Thanks.

Hey mate!
Appreciate it a lot. Detailed not only for technical but even emotional side of the process.

Thanks a lot! Hope to make x100 exchange amount with you!

All the best!

Smiley

Thanks.

That title is pretty misleading. I thought this is a thread about OP traveling to Thailand and spending cryptocurrencies everywhere in Thailand and it must be some interesting story and how everyone in Thailand accepts cryptocurrencies as payment for goods and services, it was disappointing to find out after opening the thread that it's nothing more than an advertisement.
Complete letdown so the title is like 100% off!
OP didn't even spend crypto in one single place, or at least he's not talking about it, all he did was found a guy and exchange some cryptos for cash which is like the non-event of the century. Not to mention that suddenly the exact seller coming one day later and starting to advertise more his service doesn't look at all fishy /s
What's even more annoying is that he promotes a service for usdt>fiat, not even bitcoin, so another wave of disappointment.
Exactly, and what about the privacy or even the threat of getting robbed or even killed if you are using a service of a complete stranger when you are travelling alone and no one even know where you are at the time of that exchange? Anything can happen in a country where you are not aware of the things or the culture or how the people actually are.

Even if he managed to get a good service, I doubt if anyone would take that bait and actually use the same service if they are in Thailand in the future. I personally wouldn't dare doing that. I'd rather use a normal exchange shop where I can exchange the currency that I have to the local currency.

Hey. You need to read the following explanation of the service. We didn't meet with OP. All is arranged online and he was withdrawing cash from the ATM (any ATM all over Thailand). It is possible to arrange an offline meeting too but just few locations are available for it now. If you want to use fiat ("normal exchange") - it's up to you and you still will be a part of 99% tourists here.

P.S. Actually I was shocked with your words "getting robbed and being killed". First of all - you are not covered from it everywhere and it is not a matter whether you're changing crypto or fiat. Secondly - you need to check the statistics of incidents in Thai and you will see that it is really safe here.  Third - you need to visit Thai and you will understand the local mindset. I just can recommend you not to spend a lot of time in night bars with girls, drugs and ladyboys and your fortune will stay with you.

sorry friend, we don't understand what your goal is to make this topic I didn't click on the link you provided but I opened it via scam advisor, there are only 2 of them who review it so I can't believe 100% with the claims you make. and it would be better if there were members from Thailand who verified your claim.

Hey mate. It is not a fault of OP it is my fault as a service provider. I didn't ask anybody to leave a comments there. Actually I didn't know that globimmo has this option.

Right now I have this topic and I will ask my exchange partners to leave their feedback here. At the same time I've launched new web page https://usdt-thb.com and I'll add area for feedback and successful transactions with TXID links to blockchain.

BTW I had no intention to do it because everybody understand that it is no guarantee that these reviews were real and I didn't write it by myself. At the same time I'm not sure that a lot of my partners will want to leave a feedback because one of my features is privacy and "no KYC". Anyway I'll add it to my page because I see that it is real demant for it.

P.S. Thanks a lot to you and to all participants of this topic - it helped me to find out actual problems in my work flow and I'm able to improve it in order to help mass adoption.

It's best to be careful contacting the person @OP refers to as that person is on Telegram.
Not that I suspect him but we know many scammers are looking for their victims from Telegram and we also don't know who he really is.
If someone wants to travel to another place and use or exchange his bitcoins, he must have already exchanged his bitcoins before he started his journey.
And I'm sure that people who have already converted their bitcoin to fiat already have their favorite places even if they don't want to travel anywhere else.
I totally agree with what you said, and regrettably most of newbies on this forum are untrustworthy and scammers, they suddenly post topics then disappear. As you see the majority of threads have been created by newbies and Jr members. We should be aware of them. In addition to that, if you want to travel and convert your crypto safely to cash, simply use P2P trading exchange or platform , there is a plenty of trusted ones such as Binance, Kucoin Bybit and OKX cryptocurrency exchange. Furthermore,do not believe these scammers who post suspicious information and links.

I wonder why someone in Thailand or any country shouldn't use an online P2P service instead of using a service by an individual who would come and hand out the cash to you. That's super creepy knowing it can also be dangerous since you are in an unknown country and the other person knows you got money on you.

Some of them use flowery sentence just to highlight bitcoin on their extra curricular activities then post it here maybe to get merits.
If this is a new way to get merits, people are desperate about the merit system, I hope that it is an attempt to share *another amazing Bitcoin payment story*

I saw many videos for people who used bitcoin only to travel, but they were well planned visit with an additional balance of the dollar, which was transferred from Bitcoin to Cash.
So it is possible if the trip is well planned.

Merit is hard to earn so I'm not really surprised for some users creates unrealistic claim to boost up their post and then trying to get some attention of many reputable users here. But unfortunately many people doesn't like to hear make up stories that's why he didn't get much praise but instead many people trying to correct some wrongs perspective about what's the real deal on that country.

I see a vlogger trying to use bitcoin only on Boracay Philippines but at the end of his video he said that he really get a hard time to find service and merchant which accept bitcoin directly on that place .

You're exactly right - bitcoin is not allowed and a way of payment here (just few places). But this customer didn't spend any fiat from his bank account of cash that he bring with him from the home country.

The main idea of this post was that you don't need credit card of cash when coming to Thailand. You can pay everywhere via our services and you can receive cash everywhere in Thailand too. Thus you can come with crypto only and everything will be arranged and paid.

I described the flow here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.62181447

Bro, your links seem to be a scam as you have put some specific port number at the end of the link which can lead to your created environment which could look like a copy of your mentioned platform and bad things could happen (not accusing) just stating the fact.

Plus I think you should get some trust and merit too, because in the crypto space, no one likes to click on links that are shared by newbies because a single click can cause a lot of trouble to them I also avoid clicking on it. Plus it would be more generic if you would add your conversion screenshots so that we can confirm it or at least transaction id etc.

Hey bro. It is not a port number - it is longtitude and latitude from the map. The URL is leading to the listing on the map.
BTW - it is short link also https://www.usdt-thb.com

GM sir.

It was a pleasure to work with you. Thank you for your positive review about our services and we are looking forward to cooperate with you again.

I didn't have an account at this forum but it looks like that local community is active here.
I hope to be useful for the community in the mission of mass adoption.

My duty now is to ask my exchange partners to write a few words about their experience of using one of our services.

Few words about the exchange that was kindly mentioned:

First listing was made at https://www.globimmo.net/en/bitcoin/koh-samui/5cad9116214a69443e00000f.crypto
It was in 2018. Few more listings were added later.

In the end of 2022 we were launched a web page https://www.usdt-thb.com

The process of the exchange is easy and fast:

1. Transfer crypto to the wallet of exchanger
2. Receive credentials for withdrawal
3. Withdraw Thai Cash in any ATM all over Thailand.

If you want to exchange or you have any questions please contact us via:
Telegram: @AntrBit or @DecentraThai
WhatsApp: +66980923396

You all are mostly welcome and we are able to fulfill at least any request in Thailand via ATMs or Bank Transfer (payment for rental, for moto, auto or flight, even payment for purchasing of house is available).

Converting crypto to cash is not difficult in any country as long as there is P2P platform exists. In most Asian countries, people just use binance or any exchange to convert their crypto to cash without any hassle. The real and amazing thing would be when you will be able to spend crypto directly in any country without converting it into fiat.

Also, i do not think anyone should click on the link you pasted. I do not think anyone should click on it. I feel something is wrong with it, I haven't clicked it myself. Roll Eyes

Recently, I traveled to Thailand and attempted to utilize my cryptocurrency. However, to my dismay, I was unable to find any reliable sources to spend my digital assets. While I cannot verify the veracity of your claims, I find it challenging to trust someone who is new to the subject matter. If you are interested in using this service, I advise you to exercise caution. Alternatively, you may consider utilizing a reputable peer-to-peer platform to convert your cryptocurrency into fiat currency.

But its little much unbelievable that he really use pure bitcoin on his travel since bitcoin is not been announce as legal tender on that country so provably a bitcoin user in that place will struggle to find merchant accepts bitcoin as mode of payment. For sure there's fiat use in that travel since this is more convenient currency for now to used by any travelers.

OP worded it poorly. From the looks of it, they merely sold their bitcoins for cash so this isn't about merchants accepting bitcoin as a payment. In fact, last I heard Thailand banned it and I haven't seen any retractment of statement, see: https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/thailand-ban-use-digital-assets-payments-april-sec-2022-03-23/

Yeah that's why its ridiculous claim that he only use crypto since so far this currency is not well acknowledge by big merchants. If he only point out on El Salvador maybe people will really find this story amazing.
So for sure fiat is really needed on this travel since he really get a hard time to search for merchant which accept bitcoin directly. Hopefully this will happen into that country or globally but this is long legal battle where bitcoin need to pass on.

I think you better provide significant information as to the service you're talking about. What is it? Does it require KYC? Is it a custodial service? Is it a P2P app?

Actually, if all you have is crypto and you visit my country, you can also do that. There is no big deal here. The most popular crypto app in my country is also present in Thailand. I don't know how widely adopted it is there, though. The big deal is if you can visit Thailand and tour around the country spending only crypto. But if you have to convert your crypto to fiat first, you probably can do that with several options. You can also to that in a number of countries.

There are many P2P trading platforms, you can ask him to create an account there like Bisq.

Some of them use flowery sentence just to highlight bitcoin on their extra curricular activities then post it here maybe to get merits.

Based on your post you seem to be a tourist, why not show your face or create a video and blog the service, the community is suspicious when we see something like this recommending something that is unfamiliar to us, unfortunately, we don't have a Thailand local board here, but I hope one Thailander member with a good reputation here or even someone residing in Thailander with a good reputation here can vouch on the service you are promoting.
