Bitcoin Core has completed downloaded all blockchain (180+GB) and Armory has scanned all the block https://yadi.sk/i/5cOmssSO3Rq3WT . But the balance is still zero.

I'm afraid that isn't "all blockchain", you're only seeing activity up to about late 2015 (your 390783 number) so your recent transaction won't be visible yet. Current block height is 506349.

Hello!
I have the same problem
Please help me.

I use Armory 0.96.3.992 and Bitcoin Core 0.15.1
I have made paper backup

01/19/2018 23:46 I sent 0.00745953 BTC to my Armory

But I had made mistake before. I used armory offline and created request to receive bitcoins early than bitcoin core have been installed.

After that I've downloaded all blockchain via bitcoin core, but unfortunately it's seems no money in my wallet.

This is blockchain transaction https://blockchain.info/ru/address/1FvHsnwRvrN8uxjoFyFT4oS9nQwsTPqMpg
This is screenshot of Armory https://yadi.sk/i/GfdAiaIh3RjCLp

Either Armory hasn't managed to scan all the blocks for some reason, or Bitcoin Core has not downloaded a full copy of the blockchain.

1. Wallet Properties
2. Backup This Wallet
3. See other backup options
4. select "export keys list"
5. click "export keys list"
6. Select "Address String", "Private key (Plain Base58)", "Include unused (Address Pool)", "Omit spaces in key data"   ....."

What does the address string look like? and where does it go in electrum. Video's I have watched use old versions of electrum so I can't follow instructions.
That looks like one of my posts... and I think you're misunderstanding what it is saying... and you obviously haven't actually attempted to follow the instructions. If you had you would know that "Address String", "Private Key (Plain Base58)" etc, are "check boxes" that you can either tick or untick to select various options, like this:

As for Electrum. You don't want to put the "Address String" into Electrum. If you do that, you'll create a "watching only" wallet that will be able to SEE the coins and addresses, but will NOT be able to spend them! Undecided You need to use the "Private key (Plain Base58)" values displayed in the text box in Armory after you follow the steps. Then in Electrum, create a new wallet:

"File -> New\Restore -> (give the wallet a name) -> Import Bitcoin Addresses or Private Keys":

Then copy/paste all the "Private Key (Plain Base58)" values into the box:

NOTE: The Private keys, should all start with a "5", a "K" or an "L"

Quote
I have read sweeping is different than moving.
No, sweeping and moving are effectively the same thing. You are creating a transaction that sends coins from one address (old wallet) to another address (in new wallet).  IMPORTING is different, you are effectively adding the private key/bitcoin address into the new wallet... so instead of moving coins, you are just letting the new wallet control the old address.

Noob here, I have been reading about this problem for two weeks. I have read instructions, watched you tube videos and I am not confident enough to sweep my bitcoins to Electrum.
Why? it's money.
I am asking someone to make a video showing exactly how to sweep or move bitcoins to Electrum from Armory with current versions, step by step like you teach a child using a windows 10 64 pc.
I followed one link to a video that was dead.
Where most confusion starts is with terminology. "String Address, public key, private key, address pool, export key list (which one)? Address pool,
Example from forum post:
"Then you need to export the private keys and then import them into another Bitcoin wallet

1. Wallet Properties
2. Backup This Wallet
3. See other backup options
4. select "export keys list"
5. click "export keys list"
6. Select "Address String", "Private key (Plain Base58)", "Include unused (Address Pool)", "Omit spaces in key data"   ....."

What does the address string look like? and where does it go in electrum. Video's I have watched use old versions of electrum so I can't follow instructions.

All your addresses/private keys will be displayed in the text window. You should be able to see the key that matches the address you sent bitcoins to. You can either copy/paste or save to a text file etc...

Then get another wallet that allows you to import (or sweep) private keys... I'd recommend Electrum (electrum.org/#download) given that you don't want a full node.
I have read sweeping is different than moving.
I have a paper backup of Armory wallet.
I didn't know Armory is not a good choice for beginners, my internet is very slow by today's standards.
Trying to get coin base to sync for weeks, I just want to move away from Bitcoin Core and Armory.
Before I bought bitcoin I searched for  Windows Wallets and no one making suggestions mentioned that Armory is probably not a good choice for noob's.
I bought them to learn and for me a steep learning curve.
Thank you.

I did another sync of the bitcoin core, and after started Armory.
It is still offline and 461962 blocks.

What logs can I post here?
Thank you

just to be clear

you unchecked file/settings/Let Armory run Bitcoin Core/bitcoind in the background?

you left Bitcoin Core running when you launched Armory?

File -> Export Log File

If you want to dive into the logs themselves, dblog.txt (in the Armory data directory) should have the relevant info, but all logs should be posted to be safe.

When I try to export the keys armory ask me about passphrase. What does it mean.

And Exodus speakabout error by Non-base 58 character?

Greetings
When you made your Armory wallet, you encrypted it with a password. You need to use that.

Yes, that's the same. Please make sure it's turned off, and that you're running Core manually. Make sure that Core is fully up-to-date too (~499,000 blocks as of today).

Today I ran bitcoin core again to fully sync. It is not doing anything now, so it is in sync.
In Armory I turned off: File>Settings>Let Armory run Bitcoin Core/bitcoind.....
Is that the same as this: "turned off auto-management in Armory (it's problematic)"?

In the center Armory says in big green letters it is online.
In the lower right corner it says Node Offline (461962 blocks).

Any idea?
Wich logs should I post? Can I do that here?

Just to confirm, you've turned off auto-management in Armory (it's problematic) and are running Core at the same time as Armory? If so, please post your logs.

Have you downloaded Bitcoin Core 0.15.0.1? Have you allowed it to fully sync (~180 GB worth of downloaded data)? Is Armory showing "Online" in green in the lower-right corner of the main screen?

Yes, v0.15.0.1
It is in sync
It is not showing "online"

I am experiencing a problem like this.
Weeks ago I installed Armory, made a wallet, hit the button receive bitcoins and bought for a certain amount bitcoins.
Then later I found out I had to download the bitcoin core, so I did that.
Weeks later it was downloaded and I was very unpleased to see that in Armory my balance was still zero.
If I go to address book in Armory, I can see the address with what I made the purchase of my bitcoins.
Unfortunately here is the balance zero as well.

What to do, anybody??
Thanks

I'm having a similar problem, I've installed Armory, I have the bitcoin daemon synced up, Armory tells me I'm online and nodes are connected, but I'm not seeing the BTC in my wallet.  I can see the transaction online to the receive address but I can't see the transaction or balance in Armory.  Any suggestions?

So if I understand well I have two ways to get back my btc:
- download 150 gigabyte date
- export the keys from Armory and receive btc on another client like etherum

don't forget to claim bch and bcg also , if the btc still has old fork!

Exporting the keys is described here - you just need the key for the bitcoin address you actually used:
http://docs.bitshares.org/muse/migration/howto-exporting-wallet-clients.html  (near the bottom of the page).
Just one thing to add regarding this... as your Armory is not synced (and never will be without the Bitcoin Core block data to work with)... you will need to make sure that you tick the box that says "include unused (Address Pool)"... Otherwise, NONE of your private keys will show up.

I'd also recommend ticking the "Address String" box as well... that way you can find the private key for the address you actually used... rather than importing ALL of them Wink

Then you can import it into another client (like Electrum).

The reason you have to download the entire blockchain is that it is the only way you can verify that you actually did receive the bitcoins, without trusting anybody else.  Other wallets like Electrum rely on a pool of servers that do this work for you.

Hi,

So, I am experiencing the same issue. I sent BTC from Coinbase to my wallet and am not seeing anything. So what you are saying is that I have to download 150 gigs in order for the transaction to process??? For real??? If I would have known that's how this works I wouldn't have downloaded the wallet in the first place. You said I use the private keys? Can you explain this more in depth. I'm not so tech savvy and need some help. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

In the bottom right corner of the Armory window it says Node Offline, I wonder if this is the problem?
Yes, that is exactly the problem.

You need to have Bitcoin Core installed and synchronized with the block chain.  After installing Bitcoin Core, start it and let it download the blockchain.  It is a 150 GB download and takes a few days on a fast machine with a fast internet connection.  Once Bitcon Core is up to date, you can use Armory, and the full power of a very advanced bitcoin wallet is at your fingertips.  But there is this hurdle to pass first.  Wink

If downloading 150 GB of blockchain data is a no-no, then you can click on the wallet and select Wallet Properties.  There you can find a dialog for exporting the private keys.  You can then import them into another wallet.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help, in my wallet I haven't received some bitcoins I purchased yesterday, they have been confirmed on the block chain : https://blockchain.info/tx/beb0119a500ee2f1031c417631975862aa7b4415bc09b0e2d71252fb345e3a8e

but they aren't in my wallet. I've re scanned my balance and checked to see if there is anything wrong with my wallet but it says nothing is. In the bottom right corner of the Armory window it says Node Offline, I wonder if this is the problem?

Thanks, please help,
