This type of offer doesn't always end well. We have seen good people gone bad when the deal involves huge money and make you sure an anonymous person is worth the trust to do business with? We have a lot of white labels dex service providers that will give you everything you need to operate your own exchange except the domain, server, etc.

Be careful. I couldn’t imagine trusting other people’s money to a stranger on the internet. I guess it’s easy for the exchange owner to not care when it isn’t their funds, but certainly this is a massive red flag. I always like to see people build things, but this approach is a pathway to tears. Especially if you aren’t capable of auditing all the code yourself.

No doubt I have run into a few of these people on FIVVER they seem to take your money for things they can't even do and then fiver doesn't refund the payment source but yet nearly forces you to spend it again yet again on another scammer you should meet a person in real life for this kind of work I would think it would be safest but perhaps that is why so many are anonymous.

[snip]
I'm not used to Fivver but it is a reputable freelancer site and I find it hard to believe they will operate as you said seems they are always the middle man in every business between buyers and sellers on their platform.

This is for the poster and the OP.  FYI - I have been on Fiverr for over 5 years as a buyer and have about 300 jobs completed by sellers.  BUT - as soon as I started placing jobs for crypto related things, the scammers come out of the wood work.  I have found only 2 reputable and experienced sellers for crypto projects out of probably 1000.  If you are going to go down the route of hiring a freelancer from Fiverr or any other outsourcing site, please be VERY careful.  Do NOT talk with the sellers outside of the website no matter what.  Once you leave Fiverr platform, you have zero recourse to get your job done or get your money back if they screw up.  They always want to talk outside to get more money from you and avoid Fiverr's 20 to 40% fee.  There are 100's of jobs on Fiverr to create an exchange.  And I am currently looking for the same thing to (but for an entirely different reason than the OP).  But after a month of looking, I am still not able to move forward due to a lack reputable sellers.  It almost all "new sellers" who bid on my projects when they are over $1000.  And the reason they are new sellers is because Fiverr banned their account and all they did is come back under a new account.  Be careful!!

Perhaps a war vet.

I like fooling around with people that wont change and drawing attention to myself in a possitive way its just when people try and use that information against me in some way it becomes hurtful and delusional to think that.

Do you get what I mean?

I will say you should please listen and learn from what many persons  has said... Online is Wonderful but is not where to trust too much, if your plans be done at home with a truth well known person, that will be kind of a win win for you, but believing you know what you want and has done your assignment knowing what you are going into, I will also say you can carry on

No one can raise money doing this thats just the facts I can do the math I can do the calculations.  But the only person that can add value is me.  And its nearly hilarious that someone else always trys  to take value away , have nothing and even fake shares with the algo. Anyway that isn't a " SWAP " only a swap will add value or take it away.  All I do is add liquidity which is why this sucks , no one gives me anything.  I give you everything every day...

Setting-up an exchange may be easy but it is all the things that you need to maintain and sustain that will be tedious here.
And it is not a smart move to look for someone over the internet if you are seriously venturing this kind of business.
For me, you should have personal connection to the people that will get involved here not randomly asking strangers to join your project.
This type of business needs dedication and good amount of bankroll to begin with.
So if the OP can't make sure he will run this as legit and sincere business, better not start this project at all.

Use one of the existing open source ones:

https://github.com/3s3s/opentrade
https://github.com/openware/opendax

There are others, but unless you have a massive budget it's either going to be open source or use one of the white label ones.
And then you have to worry about security and updates and everything else.
Not to mention getting people to show up to trade.
And any licensing for financial transaction depending on where you are.

Without posting any budget you are more or less going to get spammed by DMs from newbies with no prior work experience.

If you are serious about this, then I suggest you open a thread in "Services" like @Zedpastin suggested, provide a little bit of details of what your background is why you want to build a new exchange, in short what new service do you offer to the table when already hundreds of other exchanges are also running.

Make sure to provide budget details, mode of payment, open positions and possible timeframe of launch.

Only then you will get some legit applications.

Advertise a job in the services board and include the amount that you are willing to pay and the deadline of the project. People are not going to create a exchange for free and I do not know if you have considering the cost of something like this. To create your own custom coded exchange and make it secure will cost you easily over $20,000 and probably more then that. Then you should think about why your exchange will be used over the other exchanges that already exist. You need licenses from your government to run a currency exchange too which I think cost a couple of 1000 to get. Most exchanges that exist today had cryptocurrency businesses before opening up and they had multiple years of experience do you have much experience in crypto? You are a new account and you have advertised here that you need someone to create it for you but have not included salary or any details about it and I think you are making a mistake if you think it will be a easy business that is guaranteed to be successful.
