Ever since Idex lost their true nature of decentralization I don't find the exchange anymore appealing, and even looking at it, it seems much activities are no longer taking place on the exchange. Nevertheless, keeping funds on exchanges have been a bad idea, especially when one prefers to hold long term, which is your case; the former Idex being based on Ethereum blockchain means you can easily store your tokens on any ERC supported wallet and of course you can sell whenever you want again.
However, to the best of my understanding, Idex has migrated to a new network, I believe the BSC network, therefore you will need to migrate as well with the details you used in the first place. Also, for better clarifications you can contact their customer service to get the latest information from them and what to do as well.

Is there anyone here using Idex in trading?
I kept a lot of tokens in this exchange. There happens to be this migration from idex market to idex1.0.
When I check my account, it has zero balance. Anyone here had experience the same, Is there a way to retieve?
Why are you people even leaving funds on idex in the first place? Because it's decentralized? The most dangerous use case in crypto space is decentralized, if you get cheated they can't be hold responsible, anyways only idex team can help you out, why not contact them through telegram?

Don't worry friends, updating idex makes all balances there zero. I also experienced something similar, so I thought we should do an update to see our balance back to normal

Where we have to update, we need to update the IDEX to mobile version or in the web version because everything, seems to be confusing, even I am also holding some fund in IDEX, after upgrading we might see the whole balance in the IDEX account again?

Guys a big THANK YOU for everyone here. Thank you for sharing your ideas. Godbless you. I already fix my problem.
Well, good to see that your balance got back. Can you please share what did you do, and your balance back?
This is the most problem when we use DEX, there is no support that we can ask for or help us to solve our problem. But that is good news bro you will able to get them back. I have also a token that lost a long time ago, I thought it was deleted on the exchange [IDEX], I did not know that there is migration.

In my own assessment dude, I don't you loss all your token. Because, your not just updated about IDEX announcement.
Before I also thought that I loss my all assets on Idex but I was wrong, due to I didn't migrate it, and now everything was fine
and okay, I think that's the good thing you need to do right now.

Try to open your account back again and do token migration, this is just like a token swap. If there is an announcement from the telegram group in regards to that migration, then you should have to do it otherwise it never appears to your balance. I'm not sure but it never takes a long time to do it.

If still the issue is not resolved, You need to contact their support team I think. People in here have possibly no experience about that for it was seldom that they are using DEX exchanges as they mostly choose CEX for better trading results.

Well I was able to migrate mine successfully. Just try to delete your cache and cookies on your browser and then login and try again. Just follow the instructions properly and you should be able to do it and not lose your funds. Also consider trying different browsers to see if the browser itself is the one causing the problem. If in case you still unable to see them then you need to report it to the exchange contact immediately.

Guys a big THANK YOU for everyone here. Thank you for sharing your ideas. Godbless you. I already fix my problem.

This is good news. The good news is that a crypto user has got his funds back. Decentralized exchange is always difficult to use, if you do not have the right knowledge about the use of that exchange then you can face big problems. So before using Decentralized Exchange, you should research the use of that exchange properly and then use it.

OP It would be helpful for newbie to write a little detail about how you got your funds back.
I guess the migration tool only migrates the tokens which are supported by the new version so old tokens may remain in the old wallet itself so OP might withdraw it to the tokens.

Or the contact support resolved the issues!

All things can be risky. That's why most ppl keep telling don't ever get too much into trusting exchanges, though I am doing the same thing as you.

I think we should always keep in mind to speak to a financial advisor before placing any investments and always do our own research so we won't regret it anytime soon

Don't trust any exchange. If you do trading you can keep it on there if you hold long term then wallet. I lost too some small amount of coins on similar exchanges so caution is a must.

I haven't used IDEX for a long time, so I can't help much. But I have had the same problem you have had on other exchanges, which I did contact
the customer support exchanges. Finally, the problem was resolved properly, after the support services provided steps on the zero balance problem
on my account. So my advice is that you don't need to panic, now just contact IDEX exchange customer support. Let them help the problems you face,
but it looks like your problem is over. Then make this experience a lesson, so that you can solve the same problem in the future.

it looks like there is an update from idex don't worry, it can be overcome if you follow the steps that have been shared by the idex team some time ago. So I thought stay calm and don't panic
Such situations can greatly affect human psychology, especially when it comes to large amounts of cryptocurrency funds. There are times that it is even difficult to contact the support service to discuss the relevant problems and not panic is almost impossible.

No user of Idex here. But upon looking at the migration schedule, it has started on October 20, so three months ago. So it seems that you are already late. Or if you have migrated already, did you check it upon migration?

Quote
The migration will occur at specific times on October 20th as indicated in the following schedule.

00:00 UTC - IDEX 1.0 trading is disabled

~02:00 UTC - IDEX 2.0 goes live at idex.io; users can migrate their accounts and place orders in post-only mode

15:00 UTC - IDEX 2.0 trading is enabled

https://blog.idex.io/all-posts/getting-ready-for-idex-20

And if you follow the intructions on how to migrate to IDEX 2.0 but you still can't see your tokens they you have to reach out to them and seek help.
I don't think there is any deadline to migrate funds from the old version because I posted the guide which was updated only a week ago and the user need to login to his Idex account and then click the migration tool link or simply can withdraw the funds.

@OP your login credentials will be same on the old and new domain so make sure you entered the old domain and withdraw the tokens to the new domain or simply to your wallet if you don't want to migrate them.

Yeah before its just the eth address and private key. Now I already had my username and password, I just migrate to new version. It shows my eth balance but the tokens are all gone.

Usually, it's quite complicated to use decentralized exchange than a centralized exchange, especially for newbies. Are you sure you had followed the instruction properly? You shouldn't lose your funds since there is an official migration announcement. Make sure your device isn't affected, most likely transaction history would provide you a few clues what was happened with your funds. That's the reason why I haven't been using decentralized exchanges.

I do not see any transaction in my address but the balance shows nothing. My eth balance is still there. But the tokens I deposited for trading is gone.

If the balance of yours disappeared after the migration of Idex, better to directly message the support about your issue. But if you didnt do any migration but still your balance is missing, try refreshing your browser and open it up in incognito or I saw there twitter account where in they manage to answer some issues of users. Try to reach them out.

Seems you have the same issues with theses users but that's wayback 2018.

For better advice I think you should send an email to the website immediately before it totally disappear, I lost eth as well last time I don't know if I lost it in the idex itself or using Imtolek application in android, but then I failed to contact support so I really lost it, so before this thing happen to you don't waste your time searching for other user to get their  insight about this, you should reach them now, provide all the details and proof if ever possible.

I don't use IDEX anymore, because IDEX is not a decentralized exchange,
they are more like a centralized exchange, I'm sorry if you lose money there, have you contacted their support?
I am sure they will help you, After all, my advice is to stay away from low volume exchanges, as they are very dangerous.

I've used them and no issues at all. And as you're telling about the migration, as said by everyone you only have to follow the right procedure that's given with the links above. If there's no transaction that had happened and if you can the address through the network and your tokens are there, you're good and you only need to process it correctly.

First of all you should migrate the tokens using the migration tool and also you must be having enough ethereum to cover all the transactions. Better visit the article posted by Idex.

How do I migrate funds from IDEX 1.0 TO IDEX2.0?

This one is the guide you are looking , next time if you are using any Dex exchange do not leave the website having your orders , make sure you always sold or bought a coins every time you import it to any Dex exchange no one knows how long that website will be running or how secure your funds there. Its not the same as centralized that you can set your orders and forget it as long as you trust the exchange.

I haven't experienced this kind of issues mate, because I really don't store funds on this decentralized exchange. What's certain right now in order to be addressed about this concern, is to seek technical support from idex customer support. They could give the most accurate solutions to that problems you had recently. Often times, having back-up for your online wallet should be done before anything else to order to avoid sudden loss of funds.

So Most provably the issue is you did not migrate from previous to latest idex 1.0. Do it asap and check your balance. And also make sure that you have login with the details what you have used before/where you have the money exactly.

Always we should keep our holding in private wallet. Exchange is only for trading. anytime any accident can occur in exchange.

So far I still have Idex on Binance and it's still intact, are you trading it opening the wrong price?
have you checked the transaction history? If the history is not found, it means you have to contact support immediately, while the time is not up.
