Let me tell you my story
In fact it's not quite a story

When BTC was launched I received an email informing me about it ... I guess it was 2 or 3 months after it was launched and I said "F*** this sh**! It will never succeed in the real world"

I November last year I found out how much the price went up so I said to myself "F*** you a**h***!" and so I am on the board of this BTC yacht

I started mining through different methods and after a few weeks I said let's look for an exchange

Signed up for BTC-E, bitstamp and mt.gox

Checked their withdrawal fees and approximate time to receive money in my account, none of them were saying to me submit your papers here! especially when they were saying clearly there that approval can take up to 2 weeks, I knew it right away that their 2 weeks "means don't call us, we call you" witch means wait 2 weeks and after that email us and remind us of you and we will put you in queue!

I don't know how other people brain works but my brain said NO!

So here I am still mining at a low speed and making like 0.2 BTC a month sometimes I make 0.35 if I make the right trades

As for selling BTC since the transactions are not reversible i use bitonic.nl because they pay me in maximum 24 hours after I sell (the only condition to receive the payment in 24 hours is to sell before 11.00 Holland time because at 12.00 they process bank transfers)

I didn't lost anything but I could have gained so much more!

I know that people lost money at gox. I lost all my savings too. Please donate!
...everyone told everyone and his mother since months that bitcoin currently is a big risky gamble. Magic: The Gathering Online Exchange did something terrible but don't complain because you put your money on the wrong color.

where's your donation link?

seriously, there are real people who lost real money or assets. mtgox did something absolutely terrible.
let the people grieve. obviously there are those who are truly grieving, those that are mocking them, and those that are just using the situation.

i lost a bit of self respect.

I lost around $12000 in BTC a few months back, I said fucccccccccccck that sucks, and moved on, I chuckle about it when I tell people what happened. And no I'm not wealthy, but I also didn't gamble with my rent, or kids college funds.

The only red flags mtgox didn't have on it was on their homepage saying this would happen.

No you didn't, you did it because you're foolish enough to gamble on something in its infancy, and not watch the markets. Everyone seen this coming, you just didn't listen to the consequences. It's not the fault of bitcoin you were reckless and put your or your kids life savings into something, and lost it because you didn't secure your wallet, or you were using an exchange that had 10 new complains daily. And I see a lot of people who claim to be day traders complaining about how they bought at 900, sold at 850 bought back at 925 and resold at 7. That's your own ignorance, please stop blaming bitcoin.
Gox was taking weeks to WD bitcoin for how long now? Why would you have even kept your coin there..

And stop posting your donation link, no one cares you need drugs.
