I´ll check it out when I have the time. Better do some promotion work friend, nothing is as gloomy as an empty message board.

Good luck, g

30 seconds? It would probably take a few hours to register the forum, set up the boards, and write the descriptions for each one.

I just found out that you don't need to create an account to post so I decided to make a thread:

http://refworks.boards.net/thread/2/get-free-bitcoins

I see there is no place to post my Primedice link. Are gambling sites allowed or are they against the ProBoards TOS?

A free forum you can create in 30 seconds?  What makes you think anyone would post there?

thank you for posting, here i just updated it http://refworks.boards.net/board/20/gambling

I think allowing things like that (ref links) from the offset as a "selling point" is not great. People want quality content rich communites...not spam

Not saying that's what it is, but you will find it hard to grab members....more importantly, educated, learned members offering good quality interesting posts. Conversely you may invite all manner of spam which just harms any site rep.

You should tell that guy. I'm sure he'll join as he was wanting a place so he can post his ref links. I'm not sure if your forum will take off or be very productive though. There's a good reason why we don't allow ref links here as it'll get messy very quickly not to mention redundant as nobody would really click on most of them.

Well, it sure looks very empty doesn't it? Anyway I added it to my bookmarks nonetheless. I'll be keeping an eye on it and might join if it gets more members.

It seems to be using ProBoards. I remember using them a few years ago before moving onto phpBB on paid hosting. I also tried InvisionFree which was another popular competing forum host at the time although I found their software to be not quite as intuitive. As far as free forum hosts go, PB isn't terrible and they host some pretty big forums too.

That being said, creating an active forum isn't easy and it usually takes many years to form a sizeable community. The vast majority of forums don't make it. Because of this, it should be interesting to see how OP's forum looks like in the coming months.
