So where are your bitcoins now! are they considered burned?

No.
He send BCH to a BTC address (owned by coinbase).

Coinbase is able to gain access to these BCH, but doesn't want to recover them for OP (which is understandable).

or will somebody one day generate a new bitcoin wallet and find your bitcoins there?

Even if the coins would have been sent to a different valid address no one has the keys of, the chances of generating a private-/public key pair which results in given address is close to zero.

Yeah it’s over i sent the coins the bhc to btc address. They say i can’t get it back

you mean BCH

those are the possible problems that come from the hard forks. whenever you are going to send BCH make sure your address is from BCH and unfortunately the coinbase will not have how to recover your BCH. How much did you lose?

Talk about it on youtube video here.I have no choice but to drop the case and disappear myself to but i leave this here for the next victim

Video not available? I guess you got the answer your answer from Coinbase. Well they can get that info because they can see it in their transaction logs. The question is how did you send a BCH to a BTC address? Anyways, you just have to charge this one to experience and hope that you don't do the same mistakes again.

lolzzz it happens to almost everyone and even happened when I was still new to this. I was trying to buy airtime from someone I met in a forum and so I sent them my only BTC I had then which was about $15 and he made away with my btc and even blocked me from reaching. I spent the whole day cursing him, LOL 😂. Well,  now I have more than that in my wallet losing that amount, I won't bother much about it. But do you really need to post it on YouTube? Why not post it here than stress people. All you youtubers tho’ lol.

Hello ,

Thank you for contacting Coinbase about your transaction. According to our records, it appears that you sent BCH to a BTC address (3L8yHKLYoFJYSjj6XVwYpDJ5upHV8giwnp). This is an address that can only receive BCTC

In this situation, these BCH funds cannot be recovered. Coinbase does not support transactions where one cryptocurrency is sent to the address of a different cryptocurrency.

But why did the bch end up in an bch address regardless? Its just sitting there and nobody will have ever access to that? Also how did they get that info? I couldn’t link a mistransaction from anywhere, no blockchain.info, no blockexplorer, no coinbase history

Are you sure you haven't given them any information about where your transactions from (the address)? If that so, It's strange that they knew you have made a transaction because incoming transaction can be from anyone. I'm not really familiar with Bcash anyway.

So I got 2 minutes into the video before I got aggravated at my poor internet connection and called it quits.  In that time I spent watching the vid, I don't understand what exactly went wrong.  OP is bitching about something regarding Coinbase (?), but he even states that he has no proof of whatever it is that happened.

If you make a youtube video like this, get to the point ASAP.  I don't really want to see a guy moaning slowly whilst sitting in a car, sad that he lost money on a trade or whatever it is that actually happened.  If you got screwed, post the evidence and let people form their own opinions.

Just as I thought.

Going back to the video of yours, if Im not mistaken it was sent to your blockchain.info right?

Don't have an idea how blockchain.info deals on that but you can try sending them a concern about your problem. Only them can help you extract that BCH, only if that's allowed under their terms.

Since you have mentioned that unfortunately, you didn't have some sort of proofs to support your claims, we really can't checked if something fishy going on.

We know Coinbase is a big company and never it will ruined their reputation just because of that case but that can also be a reason not to be suspected on a small case*. My bottom line, we don't know how legit your story even your claims are true. Maybe there are mistakes along the way that you just didn't remember.

Mind sharing what actions you already did? What's the result of talking with the Coinbase staffs?

That's a sign that you need to stop using a fake Bitcoin, get the real one dude!
Anyway, I've heard a lot of problem caused by coinbase and all same, about missing coins

Did you contact coinbase support about this issue? You should have the transaction hash from the blockchain and take a look if your coins has succesfully sent or not, you can use that as a proof to coinbase. It's actually nonsense if the address disappeared from your account, there should be an error in the website or something.
