Your stickers are cool! We really like it. We also want to create our own stickers. Do you have any ideas on how best to do this?

Thats very thoughtful and creative of you. A fun thing to do indeed and yeah they look cool too. Sadly, it can't be used in the forum as its best suited mainly for social media which bitcointalk is very much not the regular social media platform but then, it would have been more acceptable in the service board and announcement but, memes or emoji for the forum comes with codes.

It would go a long way too in Ann thread designing and campaign service designs. Quoting it could help display them better. Nice one #I accept payments in bitcoin   Cool

Awesome idea. I love creative people. Tell me, are your products Smiley created only for the official WhatsApp or can it be used for mod versions as well? Such as FMWhatsApp or GBWhatsApp? If they work for them too, then you urgently need to make money from it ...

Not really my taste using stickers on my messaging apps but I can see what your goal is, I would recommend that you would create more artistic stickers in the future and sell it to, the user in this forum will love it, you can sell one sticker for a dollar. Keep up the good work and try to improve on your art because if I am being honest, the stickers are easily manipulated in Photoshop.

Pretty good promotion step. And on each sticker, you put in their respective goals so that everyone has the desire to learn more about what Bitcoin is, right?
That is your style, and each person also has his taste. With an interactive tag like that it's very great to describe the situation when talking about needs, money, and investment, it can certainly make the topic of discussion in groups more diverse, especially for those who are less familiar with bitcoin. Hopefully, your goals can be achieved and can educate the people in your network.

This might really be something which can generate some attentions towards what actual bitcoins are but majority of our contacts would not even have an idea about what stickers we are sending them and they might not even pay enough attention to such stickers. These stickers might be useful in financial groups where people transact daily for goods and services. They could simply google more about bitcoins and can also find it as a reliable mean of payment.

Bitcoins will make regular payments much more easier and these stickers would convey the same message to a mass community using whatsapp. Not each of us use whatsapp for our daily transactions but there are a number of people who are linked to centralized payment means and use whatsapp as their base application for communication. This might surely generate some traffic in such groups.

Ohh i see, by using and often sending messages with bitcoin stickers more and more people know about bitcoin. It's like introducing virtual currencies in a fairly unique way. I like the stickers you shared because so far I've only seen on telegram and most of my contacts or whatsapp groups don't use stickers like that Cheesy

These look pretty good, definitely a nice way of helping to spread the word in an unobtrusive way.

Do you make these for a living?

Maybe you should get in touch with some exchanges and wallets and see if they would commission some even better ones.

No mate, I don't make these for a living. It may be nicely done but I'm not a pro. I'm just doing certain things for the promotion of bitcoin.
That's really a good initiative taken forward to promote the usage of bitcoin. Maybe the step taken by you can reach the whatsapp team and make them create a smiley along with the $, € and other available currency representation. The world is getting more and more dependence over technology, to the same people aren't getting aware about it. Such small changes made to day to day usage application will make people know about it.
There actually is a need for such medium of promotions. I have seen a lot of telegram stickers about bitcoins or any other coins(mostly used by ICO's and IEO's) but I rarely found any of such stickers on whatsapp. I am downloading the pack for sure just to keep my stickers collection up to date and would also try to forward these stickers with my friends and family.

Before educating other people about bitcoins, we should first start with our close friends circle which might include our friends and family members. We should first try to literate them and then we could move forward on educating several other people. WhatsApp is mostly used by our family members and this stickers can really make them dig more information about bitcoins and what actually the basic assets like bitcoin address, bitcoin wallets, etc are. This would create a general awareness.

I have seen your creations for WhatsApp. But I wonder, since I'm not an expert, how do they import into WhatsApp to be used?

You'll have to download an app (link in post). Download the stickers too. Once you've. Done that, go to your file manger, look for the downloaded sticker, open it as of you are opening an image. Open it using the app you downloaded. The Instruction is in the post too.

I'd rather go for some stickers like these or some cute, chubby ones with puppy-like eyes and all. But I'm not a designer so someone with an artistic hand could do it.

It's a great list and I think that's not so hard to adapt to basically anything if somebody has a bit of artistic skills.
And I didn't know it.

No offense OP, but imho social media needs somewhat "less sober" stickers  Wink

WhatsApp stickers whooah. Superb.
In this way, if you done it free for all without paying you by someone, then it's good way you promote Bitcoin by that way, it is the best and much appreciated.
WhatsApp is big message platform, especially in Chinese countries like China or Hong Kong. I hope your art will be use by someone. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the support. I hope people don't just use these stickers but create theirs too.
I think it's kinda difficult. Because there are some people who are into creating those kinds of stickers or just into graphics artist.
Since creating that kind of art is something you need some skills or knowledge in some software about creating images, if I am not mistaken, something like Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator like software.
But there are still some people who like you, promoting Bitcoin in some different ways, cheer up! You did something great.

cool mate i definitely using these stickers ,they are very simple but Cool and appreciative so downloading the stickers now as i am typing this.

don't mind those bashers mate what is important you have skills that wanted to be shared to others and besides this is free so who are they to question your work?they must be thankful,or they can just deny and leave the stickers alone as no one is forcing them to use your work.

Haha. Thanks a lot man. I don't mind if my work was perfect or almost. The aim is for those who like and don't like the stickers to try creating theirs. I just want us to have the same goal of promoting bitcoin.

That's actually nice of you, but I can't think of an instance in which I'd use these stickers with my friends.

I'd rather go for some stickers like these or some cute, chubby ones with puppy-like eyes and all. But I'm not a designer so someone with an artistic hand could do it. I'm talking about something similar to this:

I think the text placed on your stickers are limiting the usage of them too much.

Don't take this as hate - I always like to come up with a bit of critique. It's a good initiative and I hope I won't offend you or anything but they seem a bit too simplistic and can only be used in specific scenarios... for example, online negotiations.. but I'd rather not send stickers during a serious transaction. Just saying.

I agree with this. I know we should raise Bitcoin awareness but I think OP should make some stickers that you can actually use in any situation like the one posted above. Probably a thumbs up with a ₿ logo somewhere for an OK sticker, just an idea.

Anyway, OP did a great move on creating these stickers for awareness. Keep it up!

Cool stickers and maybe I can try it. Probably, you can create more stickers that are simpler friendly to the people who still don't know about Bitcoin. It may not only be done by making some words but only by image.

I also think so, but probably this is also one of the ways to introduce and we can use it to introduce. But of course, a simpler sticker with a more cute image will be more friendly to the people who do not know exactly about BTC.

Hi OP, do you also create the sticker for Telegram?

For example, I'd make a sticker with the text "Have you heard of Bitcoin?" instead of "I accept Bitcoin payments". "Have you heard of Bitcoin?" could be used ironically or non-ironically in many contexts. When someone complains about their bank, send a "Have you heard of Bitcoin?" sticker and it'll make the convo more interesting.

Nah... Tho it's a cool idea, I won't really agree with it. "Have you heard of bitcoin?" would make the person understand that your aim is telling him/her what bitcoin is. On the other hand, "I accept bitcoin" makes the person understand that bitcoin is a means of payment. And also, the person won't know that your main aim is to tell him/her about bitcoin. He/she would definitely ask you what you mean by bitcoin. And then, your pour it all out (remember to tell it's advantage over fiat. And of course, it's disadvantages).

Actually, I get your point and I'm not taking it personal. You're right; they are actually simple but then, my aim is to inspire people to create better ones that'll in one way or the other help in the promotion of bitcoin.

Well, some transactions could be too official for you to use them. However, such stickers are also suitable for some transactions (e.g a transaction with a regular customer, a trancastion with a friend who doesn't know about bitcoin, etc).

I get what you mean. I was talking about how specific the text is on your stickers. I think it's more important than how simple/complex they are and how professional they look tbh.

Majority of us use WhatsApp as a means of communication. But then, if we want to promote bitcoin, we could do that with stickers.... Right? WhatsApp (android) is the platform for what I'm about to provide now. Stickers are actually a cool way of expressing ourselves but then, considering the fact that stickers can serve as a means of passing information to others, I decided to create some stickers which can create a huge impact. I'll tell you how by using a few of these stickers as an example.

See the stickers here

The 1st sticker as numbered in the image can be used in a case whereby some one wants to pay you for a service. Using this sticker will definitely make the person as you the question "what is bitcoin?" otherwise, he/she would definitely research it by himself/herself.

The 2nd sticker in the image can be used in a situation whereby you want to purchase something from someone. Even tho you have enough money to pay, you can use the sticker to make the person wonder what a bitcoin address is. The same questions for the 1st sticker or something similar should pop up too.

The 4th sticker in the image can be used in a case whereby someone asks you for you bank account number. But instead of giving it, you send the sticker. If he/she doesn't know about bitcoin, they question would pop up and then, the ball would fall on your court.

There are tons of cases in which you can use these stickers. I just felt like giving a few instances. To get the stickers, kindly download the pack here
Then  install this app so you can connect the downloaded pack to your WhatsApp. The app is only 45mb.
Open the download from your device file manager using the installed app. Once it's loaded, click on the "add to my library" option. Then finally click on "add to WhatsApp" and you've gotten them. If you have issues getting the stickers, you can still ask for my help; I will help you.

Use them in a smart way (not in a manner that'll be disturbing). If you have more stickers idea, you can either suggest or create them yourself (for WhatsApp or other platforms).
Please do not think that because one person doesn't have interest, the others won't have interest too. No! We are all different people with different minds. Give it a try to as much people as you can. Thank you.
