Its probably best to ask your personal friend for a loan in that case. According to the rating - thats missing a ref link - the loaned you way over 2 BTC in the past. So a loan as small as 0.2 should be no problem, no?

Quoting myself:

That'll be me. I'm not going to lend him more at this time cause he was asking me a little too often so I'm limiting it. My policies. Though it's true he always paid me back in the past.
Feel free to lend to him if you want, he's no scammer as far as I know, though there's always a risk of default on loans of course, so evaluate.

There's no reference link to put in the feedback since all our transactions took place out of this forum (he actually opened this forum account precisely because I was limiting new loans).

To remark: this guy is fine, I've known him a bit for some time (even if online only) and he always paid me back on those amounts (it's much more than 2 btc total, over time, probably higher than € 2000 splitted over many smaller loans over a year or such), but I have risk management policies myself and I don't feel like lending too much over a too short period of time.

That's it, hope it clears things up better.

From my experience he is probably going to repay these kind of loans though it may take a while, but proceed at your own risk (one can always default even if he does want to repay).

Sadly when new forum users ask for loans they are normally shot into the red zone.

It's suggested you build up your reputation and acquire some collateral in order to get your loan.
Far to many scammers online and the communities trust is for lack of a better term wary of new users.

That being said i hope you get your loan if you need it and I pray for the lender you repay them.

reading this section of the forum , I see so many loans without collateral . loans are always a risk . regardless if you are NEW or OLD .
I also have a witness of a person active in the forum that gave me a good rating . I'm honest! I asked a lot of loans and I have always returned.

You likely misunderstood the "loan without collateral" threads. If a lender offer a loan without requiring a collateral this cannot be understood as: lender careless and unconditionally give everyone BTC from his wallet. To protect himself a lender will end being more strict in reviewing perspective borrowers; sadly, you're more risky than others since:

  • 1. You're a "new" user;
  • 2. You've a low message count with posts of little to no contributory value;
  • 3. Your first post here as a Newbie was made just to request a loan, without collateral of course;
  • 4. You're asking for big - big is > 0.1BTC - loans without a valid collateral.

Try to educate yourself about lending rules before thinking about asking again for a big loan without a valid collateral; otherwise, the only thing you'll get here will be a rain of -ve trust feedback on your profile.

Iam sure no body will loan you without collateral.
Why don't ask a loan to member who gave you this positive trust ?

Many transactions over time with this user (one year or such, outside forum) and also gave him some small loans (250-500€) sometimes. He always paid me back.
