What a risky transaction, especially when a newbie is involved in it!

as long as their are escrow, there is no worry to made transaction to newbie.

@OP, But for large volume of bitcoin, Just go to exchange like polo or kraken, they have sufficient bitcoin volume that might fill your need. They are trusted too. Just withdraw immediately after you buy some. Goodluck

Noob or not, cash is cash.  Wire transfer to an exchange works for large amounts.  If you find someone physically near you then you might be able to meet at their bank.  They would probably require you to bring cash or maybe a certified check.  You deposit into their bank account and they could then transfer the BTC to you,

Thanks, both of you. I live in the States and am just getting into bitcoin and someone asked me if it was possible to do larger amounts and to be honest, I have no clue.
It is possible to do such a large amount on Bitcoin platform but you cant make such a large transaction with wire transfer . 300btc means 300.000$ and thats a hugeeee amount of money. Best way to do it is to talk to an old and safe exchanger and see how you can make a deal with them . It would be good for you to meet the owner of that exchange for a safer transaction because it is a huge amount of money we are talking here.On this forum i think only a very  few people or maybe nobody has that amount of bitcoin for sell.
Exactly but I know someone who have almost 213 BTC and he want to sell it therefore I ask him for the deal and if he want to deal with me we use something like bank transfer and we use like localbitcoins as an escrow

You'll need to contact an exchange. No one is going to send first or expect you to send first or even use an escrow here. It's just too huge of a buy. I'd suggest contacting any big exchange and ask them what payment method you could use to buy 300 bitcoins at a time. Hell, some may even lay it out for you agead of time. Maybe you could buy $10,000 at a time with a wire transfer for example.

I would need 300 BTC as in, not 300 USD worth. Since I am kind of a newbie, what is the quickest way to pay for them? And easiest? I appreciate any help you can give me.

Like the subject line says, I need a large amount of bitcoin ( 3000 to be exact ). I need someone selling some at a reasonable price. Let me know if anyone out there can do a deal, and I have to inform you that I need 3000 in total, but only 300 to start. I can explain in more detail if interested.
and using what payment method you  pay if you provide theses details i can do that and what exactly you need at this time 300$ worth of BTC or 300BTC Huh
