It's degrading knowing that there are people like you who generalize us people from the said country in your posts. I am from Philippines and your post is discriminating everyone of us. I thought that this forum does not support things like this.  Undecided
Anyway, to OP you are better of getting that amount as a loan in your country. May be a student loan or something. I used to request loans like this before when I was trying to continue my education but to no luck, it's really hard to get a loan of that amount specially with the current btc price, back then the price was around $300 and a loan of 0.25 btc can easily be given by any lender as long as you can provide a good collateral.

In general the scamrate from those countries is very high. Thats just a fact.
If you feel personal attacked by that you should blame the scammers from your country.

On Btcpop we send letters with a code to users form most countries, that helps a lot in keeping scammers out.
And most even doesn't try as the user has to pay for the letter.
The scam rate of those countries will normalize as it already does for users from India.
If its easy for them to scam then they will scam and probably its only a few people who do it again and again.
And to be honest I saw lot users also playing the discriminate card and close to 100% of them also defaulted...
Well,if you look at it that way, your system is being abused because it is vulnerable. Why have a vulnerable system if you fear it will easily abused ? They're scamming easily because they can.I'm not saying they should but you can always design a system without any loopholes.

Many people already this trick but no one can give you people here are smart if you are just a newbie without any collateral you can not borrow bitcoins here except if you can provide altcoin as collateral that has value that can exchange into bitcoin..
0.25 btc its a large amount of bitcoin its almost $427.1
If you really want to have money to pay for your college fees better to offer some skills here and receive a good amount of bitcoin that can help you to pay for your college this is i think a good way than borrowing btc here.

The ADHAR stuff is faked for about 100% from my experience.
On BTCPOP i don't accept those self printed documents at all.
Before I became owner of BTCPOP some users verified 20+ Accounts and all defaulted.
The scam rate from India was very high. We accept now only International Passports and Driver Licenses and the scam rate is down a lot.
Correct!
You generally have to avoid Indians on the internet or deal with them only an escrow. It's just not on the internet but also in real life these Indian cheapos try to emotionally convince you to donate them money. The saddest part about it is,they're not even beggars, they're smart enough to do stuff on the computers but lazy to make real life money.
I've met Indians in Dubai who don't have a job and they use Signature campaigns as a full time option.Like literally they post with multiple accounts per day.
Anyway,OP is lying.

This is the lending section, not the begging section.

You seem perfectly fine and healthy.  Maybe go work like a normal person?

To phrase it less rudely:

Sorry, but you probably won't get a trust-based loan, just because the amount of scammers on here is through the roof.  A large majority of loans with no collateral end up being scams, which means that the 10% interest isn't worth the 50% or more risk.

Good luck with BTCJam or other systems.  I hope you get the loan that you need.

Rudely,is the op's attempt to try and take a loan without even reading how things work here.
without providing collateral (and he ask the reason to give a collateral... Roll Eyes ), with a...promise that he will pay(lol), along with a whining, sad story begging for sats.
Really now?!

It's an insult and rude to try to fraud other members and think that you are the smartone and all the others are fools.
and yes noob op,begging here is forbidden...enjoy!

You have to understand from our point of view. Would you simply lend money to a stranger online using a currency that is not reversible, and extremely hard to trace? The risk is to high for you, especially since youre new here with no valid collateral. Good luck on btcjam though. Didnt know they were still allowing loans there.

Collateral is an item given for a loan.  For example, I could have a computer hardware part worth $120.  I ask someone for a loan.  The person takes my computer hardware part and gives me a loan of $100.  This way, if I fail to repay the loan, they can sell the hardware part and not lose money.

To take loans without any reputation/trust, you will need collateral, especially for significant amounts like 0.25 Bitcoin.  This could be any digital goods as well, such as an altcoin, but notably if you had that sort of thing you probably wouldn't need a loan right now.
