It is actually an ASIC miner for BTC and the design looks the same as antminer s17.
I can't also find an upgrade firmware for this miner. What I think is maybe he can flash this miner with antminer firmware?

Is it a BTC miner?
With the 'A1' in the name, does it use the ancient A1 chip from Innosilicon/Bitmine.ch? If so - forget it as there is zero support for that chip.
