So my question is: how do I make a bech32m address and how do I move coins on it? I've been Duck Duck Go-ing my eyes out and can't find any answer on the matter at all... search machines are ruined. Christ, it's so annoying.
You don't have to use hardware wallets if you don't want, there are plenty of software wallets with taproot support.
I would say that Sparrow wallet is one of the best bitcoin wallets and it's much better than wallet you are using.
Coinb.in is based on javascript and it was not updated for years (I think since 2020) so I would strongly suggest against using something like that as a main wallet.

Also, I'm not sure if the addresses generated on coinb.in are bech32m
It seems coin.in does not support taproot and bech32m.
The last version of coinb.in is 1.7 which was released on July 2020 while bech32m was first introduced in the bip-350 on December 2020.

In any case, when using tools like coinb.in, make sue to download them and run them on an offline device.

You don’t have to buy a hardware wallet to do this. There a good software wallets that support taproot that you can download and use for free. Check the last link in the above reply by tranthidung.

Check Bech32 Adoption and see wallets that support Bech32 Bitcoin address, BIP0713 or Bech32m BIP0350.

You can create your wallet with Bech32 addresses if that wallet supports Bech32. You can move your bitcoin with any wallet addresses in similar way, like you did with Legacy addresses.

So I have an old legacy address that has some small amount of coins on it but I just found out the addresses changed. Now, I've always used coinb.in to move coins about, however, when I quickly try to generate a bc1 address on coinb.in, copy the key and paste it into "new transaction", it will actually load a legacy address... So it seems coinb.in can't load bc1 addresses? Also, I'm not sure if the addresses generated on coinb.in are bech32m, I've seen on a YouTube video that bech32 contained bugs that could lose your coins. So I'd want a bech32m address?

I don't like using things like Trezor. I'm a big fan of trying to do it myself with tools like coinb.in... I think it's more future safe. Also, there's upfront cost with Trezor and software downloading plus a company making money off of you and not doing it out of passion to help people etc. I don't like that. That doesn't sit right with me hence why I prefer something like coinb.in which I used a lot up until 5-6 years ago where I just removed all my wallets and put them on some USB stick and hide the USB stick.

So my question is: how do I make a bech32m address and how do I move coins on it? I've been Duck Duck Go-ing my eyes out and can't find any answer on the matter at all... search machines are ruined. Christ, it's so annoying.
