Or perhaps try Ghost Spectre Windows 10

Me personally, I don't use it and been mining for 2 years on Win 10 without any problems. I run https://wpd.app/ every once in a while and im good to go!
I have 4 Rigs on Win10, 8-10 3070 in every one.
What does this wpd.app do for real? Deactivate Windows 10 update or make it more lite weight? How sure are you that it's safe to use such an unpopular platform? .

How sure are you that you have completely deactivate that windows OS on your PC? Windows OS update is very stubborn even if you go through services msc it's possible to crawl back into your PC, this was one of the few reasons I abandoned windows OS for mining and go with hive OS.

I have disabled windows update before starting to mine ETH with 4 cards (2060s) and this setup have been running for a week now but since two days this PC will shutdown and restart by itself

Gigabyte mobo with 8gig ram installed and power supply is 1200watts, what and what is next to check?

I assume you are using Windows 10,I suspect you haven't completely disabled Windows Update and only through group policy you can completely disable Windows update beside that services.msc everyone else uses.Follow these steps:

1.Open up Policy editor by typing Group Policy in the search menu of Windows
2.Go to Computer Configuration,Administrative Templates,Windows Components and then Windows Update.
3.Configure all these settings you see in the picture below.

I doubt there is overclock more than you should because you said that the rig worked one week without problems. And if Windows Update is turned on that may have installed a not supported driver for the cards causing these restarts.

Do you mind sharing the hashrate you getting out of those graphic cards I'm suspecting you've OC the hell out of the graphic cards or one of the graphic cards, before proceeding to another possible reasons please return to default OC settings and run your mining rig for 24hours, drop feedback later.
