Try ETH, it is currently popular altcoin. In any case profit with home computer can be very small. You can check here https://www.eobot.com/ and download their software for mining.  Grin

Its easier to tell you what not to do with that miner you bought.  First of all you can't mine ETH and secondly, don't use eobot.

Try Bitcedi I stumble their thread on altcoin announcement and it seems a very good coin to mine it's a new coin only 12 days old the difficulty is low and they offer a lot of options to mine it you can even mine it on an old cpu..

Come on man, that's cryptonight. There's no way he can mine that with a SHA256 stick miner.

Try a multipool. They switch to the most profitable coin in real time, and some convert to you for btc, but they charge you for the luxury.

Well I would like to create my own and I even posted about it on here but I don't have the money to host the coin on a server and I was told you have to have that done in order for the coin to work. But if anyone here knows if it is possible to have a coin and not need it to be hosted then please tell me how to do that. Thank you

You could always create your own SHA256 coin and mine it privately for fun.  There wont be any SHA256 coin to mine with that 3.3 MHash/s device since there is over an exahash/s of SHA256 currently on Bitcoin that can switch to other SHA256 coins at any time.  I'm not sure there is a pool that will accept such a low hashing rate anymore.  You might try your luck at the block lottery and solo-mine?

Hi, I am interested in mining Altcoins on my computer using a small miner chip that I bought on Amazon and I was wondering if anyone here knows of a good coin with a low difficulty rate that can be mined using a laptop and a 3.3 mhs miner chip. The coin doesn't have to be a very expecting that's worth a lot of money or anything as long as it has a bright future and has a low chance of becoming inactive. I just want something to hold onto for the future that might be worth something later on. So if anyone has any suggestions please comment here. Thank you for helping and also please do not say anything rude or nasty or comment about my miner because I know it's not a good miner I bought it like a year or two ago when I first got into Bitcoin and I didn't know any better. And also I would prefer the coin be Sha256 because that's what my miner chip can be used for.
