Most cases like you rarely return because this involves the individual between you and the suspect.

But you can report like this:

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
My account has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to . The current date is .
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----

-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Here is the unedited post where I posted that address: ...
OR
I sent that address to someone in a PM with PM ID#...

More clearly you can see this link:

[Topic: Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords]

Why do I say that: (moderator / Admin) can only make your account sign that it is not the owner?

Monderator has no power to restore your account?
Conclusion:

The only thing is the thief's generosity to return to his origin?
Try to try maybe the fortune still siding with you?

We have no power to restore accounts.

maybe it can help you?

You have used this account to promote a scam. Stop waste everyone else time. Your other account is probably being used for scam or bounty hunt. I hope you never get it back and lose this account too.

I've made my account locked using my email, but there is no button to restore / unlock my account.
Unlocking your account will take a lot of time unlike locking it. Just follow the instructions in this thread Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords and be patience to wait for a month/s.

What is the account you're talking about? Can you provide the link of that account so that we can also check whether the hacker is using the account for posting and if its really been hacked. Also did you locked the account via email sent from Bitcointalk when someone compromised your account? It is a good protection to prevent the hacker from accessing your account.

Well, you will have to wait for some time before your issue about your account to be solve. There are too many pending requests to theymos about such cases. It will take months or even a year.

I commented such thread that the complaint for account recovery is almost a year already, so it will be at yours too. Not unless if theymos would implement the automatic recovery at the very least.

Theymos said he's working on an automatic recovery tool that should be ready before the end of the year
Ok that will be great, finally.
I wonder if what rank is the OP talking about like if it's lower than member then he shouldn't hope for that.
Just focus on his new account to acquire merit.

I love to see our accounts having 2FA, that will be a full security.

Sign a message with your ETH Address instead, might not be a lost cause but you know recovering accounts these days takes years.

Plus you can probably make more progress talking to us in meta about merit than saving that account, I'm sorry to say.

to whom should I send it?

I would Create another thread such as "Help recover my account Xx- signed message".

Post it here or just send it to Theymos/Cyrus and hope to whatever you believe in; they take in that email and is like yep, here's your account.

who can help me to return my account from a hacker, I have attached my profile to my ETH and Bitcoin address, but I read on this forum I have to make a signature with my Bitcoin address and this is my biggest mistake, because I use the Bitcoin address from exchange not from Bitcoin wallet, can I use Ethereum to do it? I can prove that it is me by sending a transaction using the ETH address that I entered in my profile.

please help me, thank you.
